its not my daily driver brotha so im not stressing to much.
I would recommend gettin a better cold air intake from the stand point of some one who ran both set ups on dyno while in engine performance school the ones that that have a box around them and suck outside of engine compartment air do far better in performance and iat
gonna test this one out. this truck is not my daily driver so im not to worried about it for right now.
A intake has nothing to do with how the turbine sounds out the exhaust it only changes the induction noise from the compressor housing. And your transmission is slipping that’s why tow haul mode started flashing. Like a engine light the tow haul flash means your transmission threw a code

your intake temperature will go up now you are sucking warm air in from around the engine rather than from your factory air box. you might have been better off just putting a high flow factory style filter for wayyyy cheaper and save that money for things the 6.0 actually needs

If your speed sensor is out im pretty sure its defaulted to a stock transmission file, even with your tune. Pry was slipping the trans

That turbo sounds so good!!! I like stock air filter because it’s cheaper to replace but love the videos! also just saw the tow haul flashing, Your trans is done for when it flashes
Speed sensor must be out since your speedometer isn’t working and that could have caused OD light to flash saw it with a 7.3 not sure if it’s the same. I believe a slipping torque converter can cause the same thing.
I seen that tow/haul con out in my truck 3 times and it means you need a new transmission 😂😂😂
Sounds like the vgt isn’t working on his new trubo.
You need to replace your ebp sensor your boost should be building a lot faster that’s why it has a rumble at idle
doing sound clips for the intake from the exhaust bro the noise difference is from the engine bay
When's the last time you did a drain and fill on your transmission and replaced the pan and inline filter?
Also why would you install a CAI that doesn't seal out engine heat? Seems like a High School rookie mistake
Did you throw a VGT switch in there? Why did you not have any boost until 2.5K with the VGT Stage 3? No way you should be smoking under 2K if your turbo's vanes were operating.. it's like you had a smoke switch to turn off your vanes.
Flashing tow haul is bad on a 5r110. Better find a ZF6 and swap it, rebuild and/or get some Gearhead tunes.

A tune is a great idea but it still has a issue with a sensor going on from what we can see. The only way to find this out is by proper diagnostics and datalogging to see what is going on but i can hear and see a issue where this is not just a tune issue. It should still be functional and operating which is does not seem like it is. This is a fast way to damage a turbo if continuous to drive on it.
No wonder they won’t let you work inside the shop 😅 I like the channel idea but makes me ashamed to own a powerstroke😂.

It almost seems like the VGT veins are stuck open on the turbo did y’all make sure to plug it in after the turbo install or maybe the connector is not making a good connection. Even if it needs a tune the veins should still working and it definitely sounds like it’s not my buddy had the same problem after a turbo install the connector was installed and actually broke and the truck would never build boost down low just smoke like a freight train even after getting custom tunes that the shop told him it needed still didn’t work turned out to be a simple connector the shop broke.

The vgt plug is unplugged
Your getting alot more lag because your no longer cold dense air. Factory is mor cold air than that. Yes your new intake flows better but you want cold dense air from outside... you can't get that in the engine bay with open intakes... look into s&b intake or Volant. Yes tyranny is done when that starts happening. As soon as I added power it started acting up. When it flashes tow haul its really on the back door. I went with billet trans from Warren.... I'm pushing about 750 at the wheels
Lol what a waste of money on that intake. A true cold are intake is one that’s boxed and covered. That one’s just going to pull warm air😂 best to put your stock one back on.
Next video. 6.0s are garbage I blew the trans up 🤣
