I just installed this cts3. I drive a 08 ram 2500 6.7. I have noticed the bost does not work if you have efi live. The only other bad is it has froze up on me twice while driving and since there is not power button i had to pull over and unplug. Besides that it is very nice and easy to read.
I've noticed the mpg being severely off with the efi live tunes on a 07 with the 5.9 on the edge Must be something with the tunes. Always showing me getting like 30 to 40 mpg. Makes you feel good even though you know it's wayy off
40mpg?? Can I get your tuner’s name? 😂. Yeah the instant MPG thing on the edge isn’t very accurate. Heck neither is the overhead on the truck! I typically go off engine load. 20-30% load is the sweet spot for good MPG.

You mean a front camera only? I did it on my OBS/Cts2. Doesn't matter where the camera is, just have to wire the lead into the "Drive" instead of the "Reverse lights".

My dad has a 2000 dodge ram 3500. It makes more power than stock even though it doesn't have a tuner on it. We are thinking it has had the ECM flashed to make more power. I dunno. My dad's truck is a oddball truck

This is a gauge only setup. They also make a tuner with the same display and gauge capability, but that’s not what I installed. I’m running EFI live for tuning instead.
Still running the BD X monitor I installed in ram 2004, then moved to my new mega cab in 06. Boost, egt and trans temp. Coupled with my quadzilla rail and fuel pressure combo gauge. I used to run the edge juice w. Attitude but that thing was clumsy. Maybe someday I’ll go with the CTS. Would be nice if I could combine that with a good stereo head unit maybe a split screen like my bmw 328D.
Does the cts3 come with the 3 pre loaded tunes for the vehicle where you can actually tune? I want to use the performance tune that comes with the cts2 but would upgrade to this if it had them.
The user interface on the Edge is so much better. Edge really stepped it up to make an awesome visual layout. Everything else on the market is pretty basic.
Let’s say I wanna do an Egr delete, I was really interested in the CTS2 Evolution since it already came with tunes. Would the CTS3 do a regen and allow me to do so without throwing my truck into limp mode? If not, would it allow me to use an EFI live tune and monitor everything semi-accurately?
My CTS2 is not only slow but now the tab up top you use to change power levels wont open. It beeps when i touch it but it never opens. Its fully updated. Anyone have any ideas?

The Backup camera is no longer an RCA plug. At the time of writing this, Edge says they have a solution coming. The other connector is unchanged from the CTS2 so it's plug and play. Since my back up camera goes to the head unit on my truck, all I had to do was plug in the Insight and set up the parameters for my external gauges on the new unit.
It has no tuning capabilities, but it will change the power on demand setting for the smarty JR (which is just a APPS sensor adjustment within the existing tune.) It doesn't actually load a new tune.
I got the cts3 for my 06 with the egt probe and it auto detected the probe. It works ok initial setup will take a hour plus to set parameters for each gauge.
Yeah I’ve got EGT, fuel pressure before the Cp3, and trans temp off the pan. I had already set all that up on my CTS2 so the 3 was just plug in and go!

If you’re talking dodge it’s because there’s no oil pressure sensor. The gauge you see on the dash is dummy gauge based on temperature. There’s only an oil pressure switch

It depends on the tuner! For example mine can control the power level on my smarty jr within a tune, and I think they’re compatible with a few others as well.
Picked one up when they came out to replace my CTS2 that I sold for $300...stoked that I did! Worth every penny!

Be wary though, the cts3 requires a $100 cable to make your rca camera work

This product has no relation to tuning or emissions. It’s simply a digital gauge system to show you what’s going on in the engine!

If your truck has lost exhaust parts, you need a different tuner. That said, the Edge Insight CTS3 is a great way to have gauges!

Other features are off the truck’s computer and built in sensors, so yes they’re accurate.
Which pillar pod mount are you using in your truck and where can I get one?
The mount is from Edge, and the pillar is the OEM Mopar pillar sold on the Geno’s Garage website!

Yep! Everything just fires right up on the new display. I have the exact same thing.

It depends on the truck, but on most yes. Basically if your truck’s computer reads dpf regen, this shows it to you.

That is the SRT pillar! You just have to orient the adapter in the correct direction and everything works!

It sounds like maybe the digitizer is going out. Sadly the best solution is just moving to the CTS3. It's night and day better!

Backup cam is far from plug and play. Their "solution" is a $100 adapter for rca to usb mini. Its a joke. Edge should have just kept RCA.
