Thanks for sharing your opinion.but not work for me
Pro tip: Make sure that your collision quality is at least as high as your simulation quality, otherwise you will have parts of your cloth being simulated INSIDE of the mesh it's colliding with, causing instability. You can actually get away with lower quality settings over all if you use this method.

supertip that OP didnt tells you:
Increase simulation steps for sim and collisions, 5 is stupid number that works adequate only for super simple cloth sims. 12-25+ is decent amount between fast and having almost no "bugs"
Also for "much faster" the simulation, make sure that collision simulation distance is LESS than distance between vertices on your cloth sim
Changing the scale helped me solve the issues I had. Thank you!

In my case, cloth simulations are my nemesis. I Allways think that the problem could be that blender doesn't use the gpu at the same time with the cpu for that calculations.
Once you scale up the character and bake ITV how do you scale it back down? The character scales, but the cloth doesn’t...
Or am I just missing something really obvious?

any idea why my cloth "explodes" when i turn on self collision?
Try lowering the collision distance to 0. Always make sure to apply your scale as well when scaling up an object 💕

How can I reduce the scale after exporting to fbx. will it affect the shape Keys?
I am trying a rollup animation, And while in animation , for 60% the clothe rolls properly, after that it collapsing. Do you know why. I adjusted the keyframe speed, quality factor and most setting, but still it happens like that?

old message: pardon me, i have a question! (will it render out correctly? exactly as in the blender? i ask this because i was following this tutorial of another person who was making something similar to yours and he did it different and then didn't even tell you how too finish it or render it, long story short it enders out jagged and blocky even though inside blender it plays fine, please tell me this renders out fine I've been struggling with a project similar to this and now I'm gonna try you're way tbh it looks a lot more professional and just better over all. I hope it renders ok I'm just worried.

@@AriaFaithJones trust me I've watched over 80 tutorials in the past week and none of them even came close, question about cloth simulations if you know the answer, is it possible too drape a subject (model dummy) in the sheet and then yank/slowly pull it off the model, kind of like a reveal of the character? I've been trying but I'm a noob and i have no idea where too start. i mean i achieved what's in you're video but that's it.
is it possible if i add curve modifier with this technique?

How do I move the simulated cloth after baking it ?
If you parent the cloth to an empty, you will be able to move it after baking. This will not affect the simulation ❤️

why does increasing the size make the simulation animation faster?
If I had to guess, it's because there are less collisions to be processed per a unit of volume.
@@SupaKoopaTroopa64 It is because people use 10 time too big number for collision thickness. Like 2cm +1.5cm so 3.5 cm total. It like more than an inch tick. That make the collision fight continuously with the cloth. Normal size object need 1 to 5 mm collision. Which is 0.001 to 0.005 meter an not 0.01 meter. Cloth physic work as expected with the proper collision thickness. But maybe we can blame Blender dev for these numbers as default.
When I hit play, nothing happens. It doesn't become like a cloth.
Make sure you're in object mode before simulating.
