The improvements in sound and feel with the 785s really stood out for me. Well worth having a hit with them for yourself and seeing what you make of the feel. DC
They blend very well and you can do so in whichever way you like as the lofts are fairly similar across the models. The 5i 585 has 24˚ of loft and the 6i 785 has 28˚, so you can expect a very playable distance gap. The appearance down behind the ball and feel are also very similar making them great options for a mixed set. DC
It is really hard to pick between the two. Not sure which one I would opt for if I had to put a set in the bag. Both the 785s and P760s tick all of the boxes better players will be looking for and were almost identical in terms performance. Its worth having a hit with both irons and seeing which one works for you best and which one you prefer in terms of looks and feel. DC
@@bunkered I was asking more on the fact u were fitted for p760 and now hit srixon, I thought maybe u had chosen one or the other! I've just ordered p760 after a fitting, unfortunately couldn't get to try srixon they look really good
@@craigtalbot9316 I haven't had to personally decide been one or the other. I would probably try both irons again, side by side, if I had to make a decision on which set would go in my bag. The P760s are fantastic irons so you shouldn't feel as though you are missing out. As I say, there really isn't much to separate the Z 785s and P760s other than the different aesthetics and a slight difference in feel. Both are fantastic better players irons that perform very similarly. Hope you enjoy playing with the new bats. DC
Great job. Thanks for the outdoor portion with a look at sound and feel. Good to see a 765 player comment on the new model..

Mine are on order! With Nippon Modus 120 +1/2". I currently play the 765's as well. Thank you.
Just received my 585's and love them!
Not as good looking at 565 - why did they add the black
Just been fitted for the 585 - really looking forward to playing a full round with them! Great review
Thanks Phil. I'm sure you'll love playing with the 585s. They deliver a great combo of soft, forged feel with impressive distance. DC
How do the sets blend? I'm thinking of going 5i in the Z585 then 6/7/8/9 in the Z785.
