Nothing warms my 44 year old White South Carolina heart more than seeing an African bro enjoying the music I’ve loved forever. This is how we end racism, folks.
the death of his wife and baby is a reference to the punisher
And he said he was a huge punisher fan lol
@@tylerjensen7424he mentioned about the wife and baby part, he knew it was from the punisher.
You've opened up a great Rabbit Hole here check out Symphony of Destruction, peace sells , hanger 18 set the world on fire
You actually did your homework on this song. I salute you sir.
I’m seeing more and more influencers reacting to rock and metal videos. They are noticing how cool the real good music is.
My fav Megadeth song. Ive seen them live 10 times and they always play it.
10?!?! Ur so lucky
Wow, I thought I was doing good at 3 times....lol
I’ve been 4 times here in Tokyo. Always incredible. Budokan show last year rocked. Marty joined them too
I've only seen them once. It was a show with under 900 people, and we were front center. Still have my stub and a pick from David Ellefson.
Yup same here, always play it!🤘🤘🤘🤘
Love when people discover metal for the first time. All are welcome! Enjoy your journey - it’s a fascinating and diverse genre of music.
Megadeth was the first tattoo I ever got when I was 14. Dave was legit the reason I picked up a guitar, and made the music I did. This muh is a prophet. I gotta ask for Megadeth - Washington Is Next. This dude knew!
Symphony of Destruction, Hanger 18, Tornado of Souls, Peace Sells (Who's Buying).. You're going to love their rabbit hole. Masters with guitars 💯
So many people overlook the line , fill the cracks in with judicial granite.
Oh man, you ABSOLUTELY need to hear Sweating Bullets! It's absolute madness and I love it. And yeah, the other good ones would be Symphony of Destruction and Hangar 18 for sure.
So cool you picked up on The Punisher reference. Yeah, Dave is a HUGE Marvel guy & the Punisher is one of his favorites
This song is over 20 years old and still is relevant 2DAY in Israel 🤘🇺🇲🇺🇲🤘
The Best Thing Metallica ever put out was Dave Mustaine. I've been a fan since DAY ONE way back when. They're still putting out killer music, most recently We'll Be Back and NightStalkers w/Ice T.
This was written at the start of the gulf War, Dave opinion of violence.
the triangle guitars are called 'flying V'
He plays that guitar straight from the gates of Hell! #GOAT
“Wage the war on organized crime” is the first line of ‘The Punishment Due’ in reference to the Punisher character
gotta do "Peace Sells..but Who's Buying"
Welcome to the 80's metal family. You are awesome!
Check out the live performance in Argentina . ❤ symphony of destruction…..
After I heard this song as a kid, I became a metal fan
You will notice one of the skydivers is Dave Mustaine
RIP NICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you were one of the best and the soul of this album!!
thanks for doing some research, and coming to it armed.
Holy wars is so epic, u would think all there fingers would be shooting out blood. They're shredding it the whole song.
Triangle Guitars also known as the Flying V"
Love watching your videos and how you "in your way break the songs down" keep doing what you are doing bro!!!
MEGADETH fan since 85 .... I love your reaction this song may be the best Thrash song ever... Check out the peace sells album it's epic....
Magadeth rules! Caught them live twice and both concerts were amazing!
Def on my bucket list!! 🤘
Shon! You’re starting down the path, and I’m here for it! Still waiting on my Domination live in Moscow reaction, because you will LOVE it. I’m so glad that you’re in the metal family now, and we welcome you with open arms. The journey has just begun, young man!
This song is prophetic..
Great job Sir. I really mean that
this is THE album that got me into megadeth, i was just getting into high school. been a fan ever since. this came out in 1990, whole album is EPIC!!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Mine would be "Countdown To Extinction" as the first MEGADETH song I saw on Mtv was 'Symphony Of Destruction' on (I think) Beavis And Butt-Head or Headbangers Ball. Idk if this viewing had occurred before or after I had heard my cassette copy of Bill And Ted's Bogus Journey OST. But it should be noted that MEGADETH performs 'Go To Hell' on that record and it opens side B in a nice morbid matter🪦🔥 💀 So yea, I don't know where I was goin with this story or whatevs, but listen to these songs I just mentioned and enjoy.
Amen 🙏 bro
Rest in peace, Nick Menza.
right on ... RIP, Nick Menza
This is in regards to the Israeli war in the Middle East also Gaza
Dave's solo!! ❤🔥
Comic books and horror movies were a common inspiration in metal music, this one is about the movie Evil Dead(get lyrics, you'll need them).
Deicide - Dead by Dawn.
Those guitars are flying v’s! Very nice and beautiful guitars i believe dave had a few of his own made? Correct me if im wrong lol
Shon. Another 'Punisher' inspired Megadeth song comes off their first album, "Killing is My Business and Business is Good". The song is the title track and it's called 'Killing is My Business and Business is Good!'. The song is about a paid assassin. I won't go into any more detail so you can react to the song if you like. The first Megadeth album, released in 1985, is even rawer than the song you just heard. Dave, the singer and writer of much of the music from Megadeth, is much more polished in 'Holy Wars...' than he was in his earlier albums. But that gives many of the early Megadeth songs even more energy.
Banger
This song packs a punch!
The lead singer Dave Mustaine was kicked out of Metallica for drug abuse he was Metallica's first lead guitar player
They were all alcoholics too. They were all a mess. Dave was just the biggest mess and it was affecting their writing and shows. It's awesome that they've finally been able to make amends.
@@RoughRaiders13 I agree Dave Mustaine was the best thing Metallica released
Dave was an angry drunk, that's why they cut him loose.
Lars and James egos were too big to have better talent in the group. That's why they passed on Les Claypool also...😁😁
Bummer thing is that cannot be true.
Literally the Punisher part. Killed his wife and his baby.
you should see the video for train of consequences - megadeth
Listen to more Megadeth!!!
Frank Castle.....no more mistakes! The punisher!
One of my favs my Master Dave
Finally brother.
great reaction! don't know if was already commented but apparently as the lore goes, Dave Mustaine's songwriting and lyrics for this tune (on Rust in Peace 1990) all were inspired by shows in Northern Ireland around 1988 maybe, the era of "The Troubles" (Irish republican guerrilla warfare against the British army and opposing paramilitaries in the community itself/catholics and protestants dying daily brother killing brother blood across the six counties of The North/Ulster and all) ... Dave doesn't know all that context in 1988 on tour or killing for religion or what all else, he's drunk on stage at one show and shouts "give Ireland back to the Irish!" and sees the crowd divide on sectarian grounds in real time (catholics/protestants) ... and finishes out the door riding in a bulletproof bus as the story goes ... wild tune wild heavy metal rocker and a wild band!
Love Rust in Peace, thanks for another great reaction!
I'd love to see your reaction to the Broken Bells "Holding on for Life". A highly original & fantastic song by an awesome black & white duo. 😊
I'm not even vaguely interested in metal but I love your reactions. I'll just bet your English teacher loved you
Dave is the man! I've seen them live 8 or 10 times, stellar every single time. Dave's not known to mince words, really, and the songs give you something to think about. You seem to enjoy the more thought provoking and challenging songs, so I think you'd dig them.
None of their songs have anything to do with marvel comics. This song has to do with a statement that Dave made well on tour in Ireland.
Denial is ugly
This is just a stellar lineup of Megadeth. One of my favorite songs.
Listen to Aaron Lewis song called Am I the only one watch his music video it is a great song with a great message
Yes! Awesome song!
Take a listen to The Jimmy Castor Bunch- Troglodyte, Duran Duran- Hungry Like The Wolf or Rio, and Tom Petty- Don’t Come Around Here No More.
One of the baddest comic book songs is I Am the Law by Anthrax. It's about Judge Dredd
Truth. I'm surprised nobody shut these guys up 😂
❤
Dave Mustaine is a God👍👍👍bro they go HARD💪 Very aware of what's going on in the time!👏👏👏
The best forever
Does it get any more metal than Dave Mustaine head banging, no shirt, white skinny jeans, bullet belt and Jackson Flying V? No. No, it doesn’t.
Ireland??? 😂 Isreal perhaps
If you’re a Punisher fan, check out “Punishment” by Biohazard. ☣️
If you're into comics, you need to do some Iced Earth, they have a whole album dedicated to the comic book Spawn. The album cover, by Todd McFarlane can be found inside Spawn #50.
Yo you gotta check out The Barbarians of California. Only 1 single recently released. They are gonna blow up big 🤟🏻
I Am The Law by Anthrax is another song about a cimic character, Judge Dredd...
Check out 'Hook In Mouth' if you get a chance!! It takes jabs at the PMRC and censorship in general! Megadeth was so fun in the 80's!!!
.... even though this album "Rust In Peace" was released in a late part of 1990.😜
Please do Meatloaf "I would do anything for love".
Best Thrash Metal album ever.
Megadeth- Sleepwalker PLISSS!!!!

Gotta Do More 4 Churr ...
Check out Megadeth angry again and addicted to chaos.
Promise
Hangar 18
Get your self a king v guitar . You won’t regret it
For me, this song is all about this about the music. I ignore Mustaine’s lyrics.
shirtless is the way to listen to this
Isereal not Ireland my friend
Have you done any Metallica yet?
Like chuck d said, listen for lessons of saying inside music.
Yeah bro shirts off for this shit
Dude... Fishbone "servitude"... Please!
He’s taking about Holy Wars in the Middle East most likely Israel vs the surrounding Muslim nations.
It's all the middle east
It's Iran not Ireland my friend.
Im hearing you on St. Patricks Day. This is about Iraq. Not Ireland. But you seem cool.
It’s been pretty widely reported that it was inspired by the selling of bootleg t shirts at a show they played in Ireland during the political troubles. He learned about the political divide in Northern Ireland and it was the inspiration for this song
I love this but don’t ever pause the trash lol just playing but I was singing my heart out when you pushed pause
First one to comment woo!
Think of what's going on in Ukraine... That's what this song is about 😢
Palestine and Israel
Palestine voted in Hamas to run their government. Hamas literally exists with the slogan "we love death as much as they (Jews) love life. How do you negotiate with people like that?
