I have a 4.155 bore 4 inch stroke 6.300 rods I have a tall deck block 9.750 which makes my motor a 434w 255 hi ports trickflow compression is 10.8.1 with a 102 force inductions turbski. next season I'll be switching my heads to SC1 canted valve setup.
My foxbody 306 with a blower 5 speed is almost finished. I hope it does okay should make 500. Fingers crossed 🤞

That is amazing cutting and welding the tubes, we have always fought for hours to get the tubes out of the center then cut the ends off, this would save a ton of time

The way that shell was made they won’t bead lock both sides. The tire won’t go on the shell. Believe me I tried

Why would you waste the time narrowing old housing? I would of built a 9 inch and actually spent less.
I didn’t spend any money narrowing this rearend, a 9imch is heavier and a lot of money. This car only makes 6-700 hp and is very light. The 8.8 is plenty strong. She went 4.50s with an 8.8 in a heavier car.

This was our dog, and we did have an appointment to put him down that week, but he miraculously got better while at the appointment and went another two months before getting sick again and we went through with putting him down then.

With the car being so light and only having a stock short block, it really doesn’t need a 9 inch. My black car had an 8.8 in it with 1800whp going 1.10 60’ consistently at 2650lbs, so this little car at 2100lbs and a third the horsepower will do just fine. A 9 inch would just add extra unnecessary weight.
