Her highports on the 363 have 7/16 pushrods and shaft rockers. We revved that motor to 8800 and had no issues. The geometry was easy to do. And for how fast the car was I say they worked really good
We turned 8600-8800 with the mares 331 and it had comp cam pro magnums and girdles Her car has the shortblock out of the mare with the stage 5 cam and we turn it 8000 with the same rockers
@@alltherpmafr isn’t a bad head, for what I’ve seen and been around afr just can’t hold up to the boost numbers that a high port can deal with, highporrts have also been the fastest on a small block ford.

Put my 1st set of "street heats" on back in 2000 and haven't looked back. Was lucky enough to get a set of 225cc TEA TW/R's back in 2020. Wish they wouldn't have discontinued them. Understand why they did though. Cool video!
Don't believe the perfect valve job claim. Check your heads before you use them. Last set of TF heads I purchased all the valves leaked. The seats were out of round.

Trick Flow is great. I have their Cleveland 225cc heads and their Track Heat Intake on my 359c. I bought mine back in 2013 before all this BS inflation/economy problems. It would be real spectacular if Trick Flow would start casting the Cleveland stuff again so I can get some more stuff.

That looks like a top notch facility. I used to work in a tool and die machine shop for 20 yrs. The economy crash of 2008 forced me into a new line of work. I would LOVE to work at Trick Flo. What an amazing job that would be .
I have a set of holley systemax aluminum heads on a mild 5.0 .. i have a set of AFR 225 heads on my 393 .. now i need a set of Trickflo heads in something .. i have a 460 they would work great on … now i gotta rob my piggy bank and probably a few other ppl’s aswell . Lol
Great video of trick Flow very educational I have been thinking of purchasing a seat of aluminum heads for chevrolet small block from them love the fact they are made in America. I watch all your videos I also run a pro charger on my 427ci SBC with AFR heads on it Stevie Fast Jackson turned me on to procharger years ago in his Orange foxbody that had a big block chevrolet in it set word record on drag radials on it in Mississippi 4.19 @ 189 mph in 1/8 mile. He holds it now @3.73 @ 217mph in shadow 2.0 he just released on the Shake-n-Bake show on you tube shadow 3.0 is coming he sold 2.0 .

Yes, it's an old video, as stated in a previous video, I'm going to be putting out the videos that were filmed shortly before I broke several bones and tore multiple ligaments in my body and was unable to edit anything for a few months. Good job for pointing that out though 👍🏻

Their SBF heads have been out for a long time and have been perfected over the years, a little different than trying to boost a brand new product that hasn't been released to the public yet, like the 18 degree heads that Billy ran. I had these exact heads on my maverick that ran 4.50s in the eighth mile with around 40lbs of boost.
When you said, "TODAY WE ARE GOING TO SEE THE BEST HEADS MONEY CAN BUY HERE AT TRICKFLOW", i thought to myself.. Are they gonna pay to send her to Airflow Research in California?!? 😁 Look at it like this... Compare that head to the AFR 195CC intake head... Both are top flowing heads, AFR exhaust flow beats the TFS hands down, and the AFR is at the factory "20*" valve angle and the TFS is barley better at many valve lifts! Now Imagine if AFR tilted their valve to 11*?!? GAME OVER!
We're actually going to do a comparison on AFRs 225s and a TFS 225 head, so I guess we'll see! With the research I've done, it's looking like TFS will come out on top, but who knows... The TFS heads are factory valve angle as well, so they don't have any advantage at all, but still flow better.
I don’t know where your comment went, but if you paid attention the video, the heads I got were High Ports, not Twisted Wedges. They have a 20° valve angle and are the best conventional heads ever made for a SBF. Can’t wait to prove it.
@MissMidnightMaverick I cant wait to see this AFR underrate there heads. I dont go by the flow numbers the track will tell the truth. Although there both are good heads for the avg racer. Im running 7.90s @ 174 in a foxbody mustang @ 3000lbs with box stock AFR 205s with a little vortech Ysi street supercharger on a 331ci motor. Everybody keeps telling me i would be faster with a trickflow highport head and i aksed them how much faster lol and no one could give me an answer 😅
@@ysitrim88 you would definitely be faster, I went 4.80 in the eighth with a YSI on a similar combination with lots of starting line timing pulled to get down a close to no prep track with the YSI losing boost through the case (the reason I went Procharger). Went 4.50s after going to a 106, and two of my friends with similar combos have since gone 4.40s and 4.20s both on High Ports at 3100lbs and 2900lbs. High ports have been in the 3s, but I’ve never seen an AFR headed car go into the 3s. I’m not saying AFR heads are junk, they’re good heads, we had them on the Mare when it was street racing, but it’s been proven that high ports are faster on the track.

My trick flow heads came with 2 sets of broken valve keepers.
I'm sure they'd be willing to rectify the situation if you gave them a call.

Pay attention to the Newen EPOCH machine. There is a reason why the most particular shops have them.

We went with the Stage 5 cam. The car had an Anderson N91 in it before, we will do a comparison on the two when the motor goes together.
