Not necessarily, the dogs weren't barking up storm when cops were interviewing him on body cam footage and as long as I'm in room or someone from my family my dog won't bark or go crazy, so they probably weren't going crazy because Paul and Maggie were around too. But I definitely think this guy is guilty no matter if he pulled trigger or set it up. But the dogs barking Definitely isn't a serious defense to me because all dogs react differently.

The most dangerous time with a Narcissist is when you are about to leave them. Alex knew that Maggie was leaving and she probably was waiting for the appropriate time to tell her sons. Alex went into Narcissistic rage since he had just lost his job from his own family law firm. He couldn’t contain loss any more. Unfortunately, he created little Narcs as well. Paul was laughing and smiling while the search was on for Mallory. He was totally obnoxious and arrogant in the hospital. Buster has no empathy towards his mother and brother even in their deaths. He not only lied about being at the kennels, but also about knowing whether or not Paul had actually gone to the kennels with his mother. He thought carefully about what knowledge he would not have possessed had he not been at the kennels, and this dictated his story/lie. This is not the thought process of someone shocked and grief-stricken, but of someone doing their best to evade incrimination for the murders. And it started long before they were killed. Ironically, given that he himself is a criminal. There’s something about Buster that is stone cold… he was completely blank faced almost pleasantly calm looking directly at the brutal crime scene photos of his brother and mother’s deceased bodies, hearing the gory truth as to exactly how their lives ended. I don't the addiction story, too exaggerated. Plus its coming mostly from Alex. He lies about everything.

I agree with you. There has been zero proof that Alex Murdaugh had any opioid addiction problem. Most addicts can't conceal their addictions forever. It would be odd that a man of his standing and stature in that town people that he was close to or related to wouldn't have known or have suspected he had a drug problem. I am from a tiny town in the Deep South. Everyone knows everyone else's business. From what I have read and watched about this case, Alex Murdaugh is the only one who has stated 100% he had an addiction. Has there been really any doctors stating he had addiction other than himself checking into rehab? And I hope they bring to the witness stand the prostitute/s*x worker he was supposedly with four times and almost killed. Drugs just seems to be such an easy and convenient excuse for lying, stealing, killing.

I think the drugs are a distraction! Any addiction if present was minor! The extreme weight loss is because he knew he screwed up & was desperate to clear & clean up the family name & legacy!

Did the dogs that were in kennels have beds? Toys? Treatsz? Food? All this $$$ and these dogs are treated like prisoners, this is heartbreaking. They we’re desperate for attention and affection. At least that one dude came twice a day to make sure they had clean water. I hope the dogs have loving homes now with a family 24/7. These folks seemed like upper crust of society but treated the dogs like they treated their housekeeper of 20 years.

Constantly switching your story during trial is truly the biggest mistake one could ever do….this piece of garbage already lied a couple of times about his story where he was and what he told others to say etc. and that is going to seriously effect the jury’s decision at the end of it all

There was just no reason to lie about being at the kennels unless you’ve done something. You would never want to mess up the police investigation. If it was my family I would give them every skeric of information I could think of. And it’s so weird because in the video he sounds normal, he doesn’t sound like someone about to murder his family.

I will be so upset for Paul and Maggie if there is a hung jury. I pray AM's snot fest did not cause any doubt. I think we should all pray for the jury. They have undergone a very strenuous task, physically, mentally, emotionally, and even spiritually. I can't imagine having to sit through this trial and see everything they have seen. I pray that the truth resonates in their hearts and that they will bring justice to Paul and Maggie. Thank you to those who are serving in this jury.
