Those pictures were factual and damming of Heard's outrageous lies and people still cling to the idea they were true and that her make-up and ice explanation is plausible. If she had not been lying & had she truly been a victim of SA, that would have been a truly brutal cross examination! It’s not just about establishing the facts, it’s about the tone of voice they use, the speed they throw questions & the intent to tear someone apart who may have suffered a horrific assault. Imagine those questions being thrown at your mum, partner, sister or daughter. I was horrified hearing that until I realised who she was & heard how the evidence did not match her story.

@@sylviaking8866....That is not at all why he was sued.....just because he is far right. He was sued and lost because for years he made the claim to his viewers that the Sandy Hook school massacre wasn't real and that there were child actors used to portray the victims. He was on recording telling other people that he knew that wasn't true but his viewers " are it up" and it led to high ratings and he was making a lot of money by lying. The trauma he put all those families of those murdered children was despicable. And he was caught in lie after lie and he also illegally tried to hide assets before filing bankruptcy. Educate yourself before you speak of something you know nothing about. As it emerged at trial this had nothing to do with politics. 7 of the child victims had both parents as registered Republicans. The fact is he continued to spread a lie that he himself knew was a lie after he had been warned to stop and he continued to do so to enrich himself as far right Republicans are absolutely the stupidest, most easily manipulated group of people on earth and they are all suckers for conspiracy theories.

I know it’s a Constitutional issue but I just really don’t feel that people representing themselves should be allowed to directly cross-examine the people they’re accused of victimizing. The person on the stand should at the bare minimum have the option of testifying remotely. I doubt it’s as common an issue as it seems, but this to me is even worse than Darrell Brooks and that other guy that crossed his own son after killing the rest of the family.
To do something that horrific to someone then insist on taking it to trial and representing yourself because you want to gaslight and retraumatize them one last time…
