Son called the dad and others and they came out and cleaned up the accident scene before EMS arrived (or maybe they were called off). Unloaded all the guns that were in the truck. I personally believe they did that on purpose.

I am thinking that John Marvin is obviously devastated by the whole tragedy, but he is trying to testify as to what he himself saw and did. I don't think he tried to cover up Alex's behavior. I think he is extremely grieving about 2 dead family members and a brother who is potentially a murderer.
He felt like he owed it to Paul to testify to the best extent he could. At the same time, he is obviously extremely depressed that Alex would have committed this shocking crime.

This was all a coverup by a family who has been "fixing" things for years. Alex lost it over:
      (1) The $30 million dollar boat crash lawsuit. (2) Pressure at work about missing money.
      (3) Maggie probably wouldn't sign over her $ and homes to cover Alex's debts (4) Paul finding Alex's drugs, hiding them, which cut off his immediate supply. (5) Maggie was already leaving. Her wedding ring was found later under the car seat. That night she found out about his hidden pills from Paul. She was already living at Edisto, the Beach house, and didn't want to go to Moselle. She called both her sister and friend & said, "He is up to something". He lured her there! Alex uses sympathy or victim mode to deflect blame for theft. Killing Maggie and Paul (gave him until September) to be confronted with the missing PMPED Law Firm funds. Alex has many motives for killing his wife & son.

@@alhaithamsfourthabmuscle yes their personal housekeeper Gloria Satterfield fell down steps but many believe she af killed ... check out the 911 call so calucious, both Maggie and Paul. Than Alex kept all the money Gloria's family was supposed to get. Than a young teen named Steven Smith was killed by blunt force traumato the back of his head. Ppl say he was busters boyfriend. Steven was walking fairly close to the murdaugh home when he was killed. Busters name came up many times in the investigation. Than of course Mallory Beach and the boat accident. Iam sure there are many more we do not know about!

Wait a minute here!! Regarding Maggie’s cell phone and it pinging, you need to go back to when the cell phone expert or it’s data said her phone died or shut off as did Paul’s cellphone died at 10:34 pm on 6/7/2021.
When did they show Maggie’s had died? If it was still pinging, is it possible it had been charged? I believe the data would show if it had.

First off, it's ridiculous that this man would ask for permission "from a friend of his in law enforcement" to go to the crime scene that wasn't cleaned up! Really? What possible reason would he have to go? What did he intend to find or do? Seems a little suspicious all this happened, and that he messed with the crime scene. I would imagine that police would return to the scene in the daylight, since it was dark when they were called. He's Alex's brother for God's sake! But he contaminated what was left at the scene, and that can't be undone.

It's very suspicious SLED or any LEOs releasing a Crime Scene so quickly. I believe some officers were there all night according to testimony but they released the scene when they left. The dogs did have to be fed & watered so maybe that's why they did it so quickly?

His story about how he tracked down the phone was suspicious also. I think his mission was to find that phone before law enforcement did. SLED agent told him they had it covered, and there were too many LE around to risk going for it himself. He says the crime scene was cleared, but the road was closed, and he was on the opposite side from where the phone was found. I have never heard if the scene was actually cleared.
AM drew his brothers into this mess and they are protecting themselves as well as him. Of course the grief is real, he’s not a monster, but his actions are suspect.

Yes, it is hard for Alex’s brother, I got this.
However, after the boat accident and when they were trying to find the girl that people assumed was dead, Paul was sitting there and laughing!?! Will you do this after you killed an innocent woman? Even if you would be completely drunk? Paul had a lot from his father . No, he didn’t deserve to be killed like this, but I always have this scene in mind when they talk about Paul. As everyone else he had good and bad sides. I guess he was strongly influenced by his father.

The brother reminds me of Samual L Jackson in the movie called “ The cleaner” he cleans up crime scenes . This family has a history of covering up for each other and having the law in their pocket . They’re lawyers they know NOT to clean up a crime scene . This the same brother who remind the boat after the boat accident which he had no authority to do . The brother knows Alec was in on these murders but if any of them says the truth it’ll be incriminating each other and themselves . This family is soul less like how can you clean up your nephew’s body like that a normal person wouldn’t be doing that

The police usually come, tape off the scene, wait for CSI or Homicide detective, they take initial pictures, the Homicide detective contacts and confers with the coroner prior to the bodies being touched. Then after all the evidence is gathered a cleanup crew, usually contractors are called in. The police could be charged with obstruction if these basic activities were not carried out.
