- We finally have the GR Corolla put back together and ripping on E85! The car has come such a long way from stock and it is turning out to be quite the machine! Since your last GR Corolla video I have finally taken delivery of my own GR4 Circuit. I’m looking forward to your suspension mods as I wouldn’t mind a little lift for my new daily to clear those pesky opossums on my favorite b-roads. The channel is dope and the GR4 build videos really scratch that itch. 🤘🤘
I just bought my 24 GRCircuit last Friday. I’ve had many cars and most have been M3’s and just sold my M4. Was about to buy a new M3 and saw a 24 Circuit in a Best Buy parking lot. I’m glad I did, cus I got my hands on mine 3 days later, it’s by far the best car I’ve ever driven. It’s raw, visceral and just goes where you put it and for half the price of the M3! It’s my first Toyota and I’m forever a fan of Toyota if they continue building cars like this! Couldn’t be happier

I have E60 blend on my GR Yaris with 2.1kg boost
And stock intank pump can’t keep for track day used
IDK if you guys did it on purpose but maybe you got a sensor or wiring tricked because every time you shift gears the reverse lights come on, besides that siiiiiiiick build!!!!!
We put the reverse switch in wrong when we were rebuilding the transmission lol. When it’s in reverse it thinks it’s in neutral and in Nutella it thinks it’s in reverse

I have a few questions for you guys though. I’m going syvecs on my GRY soon and so far ive ordered kelford valve springs, catback exhaust (stock cats) and MST intake. I’m pretty budget limited and sticking with 98 fuel (e85 in the future when I can buy a surge tank haha).
Would you recommend I also get kelford camshafts? Or should I just do the valve springs and try make as much boost without breaking anything? Would love to chat to you over instagram and need out/get more info!!!

The rear diff and coupler can't possibly share the same fluid. Multi-plate wet clutches use a special non-lubricating oil.

We put the neutral/ reverse sensor in wrong when we put the trans back together and we haven’t fixed it yet lol!!

Do you reckon if you did a full upgrade of the exhaust system and cat delete you guys would be able to push that much further than this or is it going to take a lot more than a full exhaust upgrade and tune ??
We already run a full exhaust. I bet if you were really juicing it you could touch 360hp but that would be danger territory.

Since we changed the rear dif to the Cusco one and changed the fluid we haven’t had many issues

I make 340/380 with an intake, fmic, catback on 93 pump gas at 20 psi tapering to 15 psi at redline with my vb wrx lol With a turbo inlet, headers, and j pipe I’ll be in the 400’s for both… GRC’s NEED full E85 and an intake to even hit mid 300’s, VB’s are in the mid 400’s with fbo and E30-E50 blends…. That shit is not worth the mark up just to be different.
Which mod is getting it to pop like that? Or is it a combination?

3:20 the rear diff and rear ITCC clutch does NOT share fluid. I recommend doing your research
So I’m curious of if an upgraded fuel system is absolutely necessary for e85 or if it can run on the stock injectors and fuel pump.
I’m sure you could run e85 on stock fuel system but when we made this video there was no support for port injection tuning like there is now.
The stock fuel system is absolutely maxed out on e 86 though so some would argue you might aswell upgrade it. The surge tank isn’t necessarily but at the time it was the only way to do it. Soon there will be a drop in tank hanger and ethanol content sensor setup to make everything easier

Question, I changed downpipe & catback in my GR Corolla but when I stearted accelerate 'Reduced Engine Power' appear. Any of this problems before. The only thing is not connected is the center catback sensor because catback doesn't have a plug for that.

A Mk8 will pound out 350 on pump gas with a stock turbo. And that's on a car that's down ~60hp from the factory vs the gr on a stock tune.

It is so. The back pressure is insane because the exhaust housing on the turbo is so small

@lilripsta911 Dissappointing because to me, the closest progenitor to the GR Corolla is the Mazdaspeed3, and you can get 400whp out of the stock k04 turbo. The Mazdaspeed3 is also the progenitor to the fk8 CTR, and the stock turbo (once you add the $3k fuel system) can hit 450whp. I'm a tuner of both kseries (including CTR) and Mazdaspeed3s, and those would stomp on 340whp once fully modded. HUGE disappointment on a very large scale! Thank you for all your hardwork, Nemtec, for bringing this forward. I wish it wasn't so, but oh well. Can't have it all, I guess.
