    Great stuff.
    Just cant you do the qhadows all in one time?

    • @LowTechLinux
      @LowTechLinux  3 года назад

      That's a fair question. Trying to do too many things in inkscape has (almost) always not worked out how I planned. For example, I have tried to do the difference command on several different layers at once and it didn't work for me. It's probably possible but I haven't found it yet.

    Another great video!! I was wondering.. is it possible to curve Lettering satin text without doing it one by one manually?

    • @LowTechLinux
      @LowTechLinux  2 года назад

      As long you're not curving it by a large amount you can usually get by with path effect. Make sure you troubleshoot afterwards as the satin fonts aren't really designed to curve but you're kind of forcing them to.

      @@LowTechLinux Thank you may I know which path effect you're using for this matter thanks

    • @LowTechLinux
      @LowTechLinux  2 года назад

      If you click on the video link in the previous reply it starts at the butterfly satin font and then I add a curve to it.
      You're looking for the path effect "curve"

    I’m following along with your tutorial here and I used a similar font to the one you’ve used here, but I typed my sons name and the Capitol letter A got filled in at the top portion when I ran the full tool break apart objects. How do I get rid of the triangle it filled in?

    • @LowTechLinux
      @LowTechLinux  3 года назад

      keep watching. at the approximately 23:15 mark I use a very complex font that does several blocky fill-ins like you're describing and I show how to fix it.

    Please help.
    Is there anyway to put a border on text that was created in the Lettering Extensions? I don’t know how to remove the lines it’s created

    • @LowTechLinux
      @LowTechLinux  Год назад

      What "lines it created" are you referring to?
      It depends on what type of border you want. Actually any border is possible, but you'll have to create it yourself, I think.

    🤗🤗 if I download fonts will it go straight over to inscape/ink stitch if not can you show us what where and HOW😁thanks in advance

    • @LowTechLinux

      Installing system fonts is more of an OS operation. Once you have installed a font to the system it will also show up in inkscape. Iirc on either Mac or Windows you should be able to just double click the font file to install it. Keep in mind that doesn't make it a satin stitch font in inkstitch.
