- This audit takes place from the public sidewalk outside this rather bust independent coffee shop drive thru. After documenting the line of cars spilling out into the street & the surrounding area , an employee approached me who seemed polite at first but seemed to become annoyed as to why i was there & she expressed concern that some of their customers were feeling uncomfortable. I offered her the talking points about public photography law that I carry on hand, however she didn't seem interested to enlighten herself , so she informed me that they would be calling police & soon after grabbed for my cameras, luckily I pulled back so she didn't damage my property, however I did have some choice words for her & she quickly became offended & then called me a Karen for using those words towards her.
Law enforcement arrived on scene soon after & during their visit throughout, between the 2 officers , they kept repeating that I would be trespassed if I went on the property. After the 3rd set of directives, I let the officer know his directives meant nothing to me as I was saying blah blah blah as he was speaking to me...

Next level would be getting an incident number and FOIA requesting their body cam footage to see what they were actually telling them.

It's an incredibly bad idea to assault someone on camera and then call the police. So dumb that the only reason she dares to do it is that she knows the privilege she has and knows her own crimes won't have consequences because of that privilege. Which is shameful and revolting.

*Whenever I hear police say that the owners don't want you on their property, my first thought is that if they weren't smart enough to know people's rights on recording in public, they most likely aren't familiar with trespassing laws. It leads me to believe that most officers probably tell the people that if they'd like, they'll tell them not to come onto their property and the businesses say yes, go ahead, then the police make it out that it was the property owners who don't want them on the property when it was really at the officer's suggestion, or the people never really even said that and it's just the officer making it out that way.*

I'm not a lawyer but it sounded like an outright lie when the cop says " you'll be arrested for trespassing if you come onto the property ". I thought the law states that trespassing arrests have to be done in a particular order. Step 1: A person has to actually be ON the property. Step 2: The business or land owner has to ask the person to leave and/or ask the cops to enforce their request.
Step 3: The cops have to inform the person and/or issue a trespass warning. Step 4: The person has to either refuse to leave or leave and come back in order to actually be arrested for trespassing. I don't mind being educated on the subject if I've misread the law.
I remember watching a Peggy Hall video during the plandemic, and she did many videos on businesses refusing service to those that didn’t wear a suffocation device. For public accommodation businesses, such as the business in this video, it is unlawful (i.e., against the law) to refuse service to any man or woman that is there for normal business reasons (to buy coffee) if the man/woman is not breaking the law. So the man in this video has every lawful right to return at any time in the future and buy a cup of coffee, and it is against the law for him to be denied service if he is otherwise not breaking the law (harassing customers, for example).

I appreciate when you highlight businesses like this that create problems by blocking up public roadways. There’s a Starbucks near me that is located at a major intersection and creates traffic jams and dangerous conditions every morning, and it’s a shame that they’re allowed to do this.

You should have asked the Officers if sitting on the road impeding the flow of traffic to buy a coffee is allowed. In some cities the LEO's will stand at the entrance ask cars to move along and stop impeding the flow of traffic in similar circumstances.
Sometimes you need to get bodycams and post it to hear what they say to the police

If there's one thing i can not stand, it's a cop that can't have a conversation with you without giving you some kind of directive. People are so pussified nowadays. Call the police because someone didn't do what you told them too or didnt answer your questions or said something you were offended by. None of that is what the police are for.
What a HORRIBLE look for the business. They could have been more knowledgeable about the our rights, which happen to be the HIGHEST law, and they could have communicated that to their clients. Instead, they fueled the fire of ignorance.
