"Did You Get Permission From Somebody To Film?"

- This is part two of a 2 part upload in commemoration of 4/20.
This audit takes place on the public sidewalk outside another cannabis dispensary which appeared to have some festivities in the parking area. From my vantage point I could see a few tents set up with merchandise (shirts & hats) available, along with a portable pizza kitchen set up just next to it. I did have contact from two employees who came out to where I was documenting along with a security guard who said I had to leave, before I immediately pointed out to him that his jurisdiction ended where the public sidewalk began. The woman who made contact got on her phone to speak with someone, who I'm guessing enlightened her that I was within my rights to be where I was, doing what I was doing. Our interaction ended on a positive note, which was nice to see.

She said she didn’t want to be filmed, yet she wouldn’t walk away and stop talking!
As always ... good work ! Ahhhhh , I love the way she wanted to know where to find her interaction. So cute.
No worries little girl. 4 . 4K views in an hour worth of time ? If you don't find it! It's going to find you! Be glad you were nice. Sorta. So glad to see common sense legislation changing law's through our Nation. Happy 4/20 ! !
Puff Puff, Pass.
Same with pig haters they always follow even though they don't like em and then complain ha ha I just keep my distance
Crazy how people think they can tell others what to do in public.
This clown showed up at our company and we actually own the street/culdesac we are on. Even showed the records from the county. I stated as much in the video comments and he just deletes the comments. Clown city.
Police in a nutshell.
The security guy started off wrong. But realized he was wrong and he chilled out. It’s his second language and he got it. Good man.
As soon as Chris said she was on the public sidewalk the security guard knew he was not going to proceed.
They actually came from all the way across the parking lot, to walk up to the camera and say "I don't want to be filmed"
AMAZING.
she is totally round the bend
HAHAAHHH silly goose girl.. so D U M B
How can a Californian, living in the land of paparazzi, think one needs permission to take your photo from public?

We let people like her get away with BS that's why.

She says "Other people are feeling uncomfortable being filmed." Yeah right "other people" lol
She got real embarrassed at the end and tried to act like she didn't jump up and down and run around him like a buffoon.
Classic BS. A few puffs on the weed and they will chill out. 😂
we are to assume she was eleted as a representive of the offended people ; people that could not deal with thier own feelings.
she must be college educated you can see the intelligence
You mean college indoctrinated haha

She charged up to you like she had right on her side. You see her attitude and excuses change after she gets schooled on her phone call. She really did make herself look like a bleeping idiot.
She was just curious, like anyone else would have been
@@kathleenmann7311 If she was curious, she could have simply read the literature she was offered, which contained answers to many of her questions. She chose instead to call someone who did NOT have any such information.
@@kathleenmann7311 she wasn't curious. She tried to bully someone away from exercising a right. Only when she realized she can't do that did she use the excuse of curiosity.
I think she recovered from her initial approach very well. She made a call and thought about it and then tried to be very nice. She changed her attitude, in part due to the very respectful auditors, and then tried to recover and show respect. Good for her.
@@seanmuir9594 she didn’t think about, but rather backed off because she was told she was wrong by whom ever she called.
This behavior is an example of what happens when you don't teach civics in school
I’d love to see it at least taught in law enforcement training. Emphasis on law and not feelings.
Or an example of someone who was really stoned during civics class.
They stepped up, one by one, to tell you to stop and go away. You, quite rightly, told them NO...and they collapsed like cheap suitcases. You demonstrated here that these people sense they are wrong and aren't about to push the issue. Thank you for standing firm in the protection of your rights!
great post stoner lol
They asked him to leave lPOLITELY . Why the attitude? Why escalate ?
Why are you making fun of my suitcase? Just because it's held together with duct tape and I refuse to buy a new one doesn't mean it was cheap.
@@1stamendmentmedia464 haha might as well laugh
@@kathleenmann7311 Do you think it's appropriate to go around in public and politely ask strangers to leave?
The hypocrisy she was rude from the get go then calls you rude 😂😅
These same people that are “feeling uncomfortable” post pictures and video of themselves on social media all day every day 🧐 😃
bingo
@@cmgngmc Oh , Yeah! And bingo was their nameoo.... And Heaven's knows what else they post too.
You know that girl who came up thinks she’s hot shit and is probably on social media posting selfies 7 days a week!
Yeah but that's controlled by trusted men of honor like Mark Zuckerberg.
Yeah it's almost like people tend to be more comfortable when they are the ones posting images and video of THEMSELVES and not by a contentious and standoffish stranger.
The best strategy is to reply to questions with questions. Examples: Why do you think it is OK to ask questions of strangers in public? Who told you I cannot record you without permission? Do you see a law violation here? etc. etc.
She comes out rude AF blocking your camera, than calls you rude because you won't give her your name. I'm telling you, that weed is making them paranoid.
She feels some type of way. I was scared for the photographer because it was 3 versus one and being surrounded.
it isn't the weed... it is a bad mix of ignorance and petulance.

What is she trying to hide?
Great observation!!!
What’s your point 🤷♀️
Why are we celebrating 4/20? I don’t get it. Not good thivgs happen on 4/20. For someone who didn’t want to be on camera she sure hung out a good while.
She's an idiot. It was a great opportunity for her to show her company and culture in a great light. Instead, she ignorantly and aggressively tries to suppress freedom.
Clueless Citizen: "You need my permission to film me."

You would think they would have a smoke and relax for themselves.
Promotion of the day's celebration, the food trucks, and the dispensary. Good on you for attempting to assist these businesses and the event. I'm sorry they chose to react in such a manner. I love your videos. 💜 Once she got educated, my GOD she backpedaled hardcore.
Peroxide chick demanded to know your name but never gave hers.
They always want to treat auditors as criminals.
I'm not blaming her for her initial ignorance. She is a product of American public schools.
Yep these businesses think they own a building which gives them some type of right to tell people to leave for any reason. The security walking on a public sidewalk shows he doesn't know how to do his job, he should observe and report from a distance, and if he has to get close it is because he is a mean person trying to bully someone.
I didn't see anyone being treated like a criminal. Did you watch the same video as the rest of us?
@@ajm5007 Slavery is illegal in this country except as a sentence for convicted criminals. So when you order people around expecting that they have to obey you, you are in fact treating them like a criminal.
@@ajm5007 Demanding a person's name and personal information and demanding answers is treating them as a criminal because you would not normally ask that from a stranger on the street.
It's kinda rude to walk up to someone and block their camera. "Ummm this is a private business ummm...yeeeeaaahhh... and ummm...and just because we put up tents and are trying to draw attention and get the public to come in...uuummm...yeeeaaahhh, ummmm we just don't expect to be recorded on the biggest day of the year fir the weed industry... umm yeeeahhh... we want our rights to indulge in weed usage but we don't want anyone else to exercise their rights... umm, yeeeaaahh." I think they have rotted their brains with too many drugs.
“Did you get permission to film?”
“Yes I did, it’s called the constitution!”
They need to smoke more of their product & chill the F out!!
If you don't want to be filmed lady go home because there is no expectations of privacy in public! , They should get an education in constitutional rights.... The line that always grinds my gears is when they tell you "this is a private business" like they own the sidewalk... This great country of ours is going the wrong way.... Thanks heavens for 1a auditors as you are making the difference!
Dispensaries are ALWAYS good for Karen's. I don't know why, you'd think they'd be happy

Tell her to go smoke some of the damn weed and eat some edibles. She won’t be so damn uptight and worried about anybody filming lol.
I myself assumed "consent", was lawfully obligated and the photographer was legally binded to ask each time. Not so.. Great work on educating the public in professional respectful way📸📸📸
Did you ever assume that seeing things and remembering them required consent from the people seen and remembered?

@@michele2628 People are always making dumb comments about weed when people act the exact same way at any business an auditor goes to.
@@Maki-00 thx for the comment. I'm just tired of old school thinking when it comes to weed. Personally, I think alcohol is worse.
@@michele2628 You’re welcome and I agree! Every neighborhood I’ve ever lived in, whether nice, bad, or in between, I was in walking distance of a liquor store! Just using the word “dope” shows how archaic your thinking is! What is this? 1970? 🤣
I love the question "Do you have permission?"; it leads very naturally to "Why yes, I have written permission. It's called the Constitution.".

What does her being cute have to do with anything?
Your eyesight. She is easy on the eye compared to that wannabe police officer.
She's an entitled person.
The pure ignorance is infuriating.
Why do you watch if it infuriates you though? I watch a lot of these but don’t think I could if this level of interaction infuriated me, especially bc a lot of them get very bad when police or a large group are involved.
@@tinydream I watch a bunch too and after you see so much ignorance it's infuriating that nobody in America is educated on their rights!! How about you don't worry about what I watch.
@@trishahines1298 A lot of us know our rights and luckily these auditors are affecting change. I’m not worried about ya love, just having a convo. That’s what the comment sections are usually for. Don’t feel compelled to read it or respond if it infuriates you, that seems to happen pretty easily.
@@tinydream I don't get infuriated easily but for the life of me seeing people over and over coming up to complete strangers and demanding answers and telling them what they can and can't do does it. The entitlement is unreal and I was not infuriated with you but like these strangers why would it bother you me saying it's infuriating??? Would you not be infuriated if a ignorant sob came up to you as a free American and demanded answers and called the cops all the time. Bless these auditors because they sure have more patience then I do for sure🤣
@@trishahines1298 nothing you say bothers or worries me, I was genuinely curious particularly bc this vid is very tame compared to most of the others that are on this channel and many others. If someone did that to me, I’d do much the same as they do. Let them ask questions if they feel they must, but not feel obligated to answer them. I don’t get infuriated by much though, just not my personality. If someone tries to hurt my husband or my dog, then you’d get that reaction from me. I’m just too tired and jaded to give an F about much else, honestly.
The hand is always a classic move😂 👋👋👋
I’m glad whoever she called, is educated on the law and knows their rights.
How about a real audit? The people we pay. Government officials. See Long Island Audits for instructions.
They call it dope for a reason.

🏴☠️It doesn't matter what anyone thinks about this issue. Putting their hands in close procemity to another person's eyes and throat. Can be lawful grounds to use force. This man was polite and understanding in ways others are not.🏴☠️
This lil girl has a very warped view of the world. It’s rude not to give up your name to a stranger who confronts you on the sidewalk and circles you. Wow, if anyone circled me I would take it as a threat and defend myself. Who does she think she is?!?
If I went back 10-20 years before these 1st amendment audit videos were a thing I would NEVER have thought of going up to someone in PUBLIC and demanding to know what they're doing. Also, the thought of going up to someone with a camera and telling them to NOT record them is laughable. Great video bud!

Education is a wonderful thing even for the dude with the sling and his husband, the long haired, finger, nail polish, wearing big mouth.
How do they think all the photographs taken throughout history were made? I’ve literally gotten on the ground, in a crowd in public, and taken photographs.
That’s the dispo I go to when I visit my dad in Orange County what a trip. Much love from Portland
That girl is a textbook example of passive-aggressive behavior.
Good content. I like your style. Subbed from Australia.
Some of the usual crowd,lol
She's was a very hostile and aggressive Karen when she first walked up, thanks for exposing her. Two faced after she made that call.
"this America right" "si senior this is America"
Security Guard Had Crooked Tooth Aggression🤣🤣🤣🤣
Here is what I think the psychology behind auditors being accused of being "rude" when they refuse to give out their names to those questioning them: The person asking the question asks it with the high expectation of getting an answer from the auditor. But when the auditor refuses to answer, this rejection comes across as both an indigatious "slap" across the face and a let down the asking person's high expectation of getting answers they want. This act of being rejected is akin to embarrassment on their part and they perceive it as being "rude". Yes, they are asking the question with a sense of entitlement. I only postulate this after years of self-examination of my mind as well as watching all sorts of 1AA videos.
All of the sudden she is the nicest woman ever.
BEAUTIFUL TRANSPARENCY
Always funny when think their hands can cover their faces.
Yeah after walking for five minutes towards a camera 😂😂 one metre away from cam hand goes up 😂😂😂 surprised people don't high five them. No doubt the snowflakes would call that assault 😢
How does she get to work in the morning, when she has to stop to question everyone filming her ?!
I’m I hearing this right! He’s recording a Pot Shop on 420!
Everyone is high off Mary Jane. He’s on the sidewalk with a camera. Probably just blazed; let the man enjoy his High! 😂
Another example of the type of security you get when you contract with the lowest bidder.
When someone asks for your name, ask for their SSN and DOB so you can run them for a criminal history check.
Why are people doing something completely legal freaked out because they're being recorded? 😂
I l😢your energy keep it coming 🎉you are the maan 💯
"Did you get permission to film?" "Yes, I did." "From who?" "The United States Constitution and The Supreme Court of The United States."

A pretty nice encounter. Nice video young man coming at you From the golden triangle Southern Oregon northern California to the coast. Blessings to you and yours
She "wasn't sure" what he was filming for, but she was perfectly comfortable with DEMANDING that filming stop.
Because being emotionally "comfortable" is more important than obeying the law.
The Security guard has had his edibles, lolo
C'mon. Give her a little bit of credit. She charged up extremely confident that no one is allowed to engage in the act of photography without the express consent of subjects in public ... never considering how people take pictures in Times Square, the Grand Canyon, Mount t Rushmore, etc. She expected compliance, called a source of authority ... and likely was told that in America it is not illegal to own and operate a camera in public. Give her credit. She opened her mind, accepted the reality and was even ... somewhat ... courteous and almost friendly. Let's e courage that behavior instead of dumping on her for being open minded enough to, you know, learn. Isn't that what auditors seek to do? Educate? Teach? Inform? Enlighten? ❤
Wow for a minute there I thought everyone can have cameras and film except you.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👍🇺🇲
Wow!!! “Happy 420!”
I would say: "I don't talk to people who stick their hand in my face."
It still just blows my mind that idiots walk up to a camera and then complain about being recorded. It is like walking up to a mean dog and then complaining when the dog bites you. Amazing !
The shop/business owers of the business in a shoping center only rent their space. They do not own the parking lot. They can trespass you from inside business but only the owners or reps of the center can order you out of the parking lot. A lot of business people and even the police think that they can ban you from the entire property. So you could legally walk up to and film from infront of the business. The only thing that would be a concern would be if the security guard worked for the property owner, but it sounded like he worked for the business.
Amazes me how people think it's okay to approach someone they don't know, completely invade personal space and try to flank you like that's okay.
Some people are a special kind of stupid. Instead of turning their back, leaving you alone they walk tight up to the camera, put their face right in the middle of the screen.
4:50 The security guard is hilarious.
"I always hope for the best outcome."
Well, of course. Who would hope for less than the best?
It always amazes me people say the don't want to be filmed yet they walk right up to the camera and smile and say please don't film me.
Gotta give them the flyer.
Beauty outside, filth inside.
The security guard did a great job.
She’s not used to not getting her way. Cute but spoiled
The entitlement of people who believe they deserve an answer to someone who is minding their own business is incredible, and it’s just getting worse.
Private businesses are not private, unless they are hidden (underground, behind very high fence etc)
The "security guard" - another example of diversity in action!
The security guard actually seems pretty cool.
Lol tries getting you in "trouble" by tattling right in your face, then tries to save face by asking you to the party 😂
