- We are still on the hunt for a new car. Let me know which car we should get. Watch until the end to see the Jetta Tdi! Should we roll the dice?
Auction was this morning! I got one of these cars. What do you think it is?
My bet is the allroad, someone took care of it my money says its overall in pretty good shape.
Jetta wagon or Jetta TDI sedan
I know I am kinda off topic but does anyone know of a good website to watch newly released tv shows online ?
@Marcel Patrick I use Flixzone. You can find it on google =)
I love these videos when u go to market :D love to see some new car options.Well this Audi looked so good and I even once planed to buy one but I bought vw golf but yeh, from all of these options I would took Audi for sure.
They are fun videos to make. It's fun checking out car without anyone looking over your shoulder.
These videos are the best when you go to the auction and take a look at all of these cool VW/Audis. Please keep it up!!!
Thanks man. They are fun to make too. Always fun checking cars out and driving them around.
Man its been 4 weeks since you posted a video , cant leave us hanging more videos please
Something is in the works! Should be coming out soon. Stay tuned!
Spotted Euros Can’t wait!
That Allroad is amazingly clean
A Stick & 3 Pedals I wasn’t even that interested since they are known for being so unreliable. I was certain something was wrong with it. Turned out it’s in near perfect shape. Pretty tempting.
@@spottedeuros1529 I'd take that one out of all the cars you showed
A Stick & 3 Pedals me too! Defiantly would be nice to drive around.
ok - glad the allroad is not in my neighbourhood as i would get sucked into buying it because it looks in excellent condition with no error lights. that said these cars are a nightmare so $750. next the silver TDI jetta $500... a gamble as u don't know what you are getting. have fun.
I agree I was so tempted. Would have bought it if it went for the auction value. Dealer seems to want $4,000. The auction value says 1,000. Don’t think he will ever sell it like that.
Tdi you should have tried the hanging electric switch since they had it hanging just used the end of a key or a screw driver. I'm partial to tdi though. Worked for vw for 30+ years as a tech first car was a 81 rabbit diesel so I'm a little warped
Interesting. It didn’t seem to have any place to insert a key on that electrical switch. I thought it was a sensor for the chip in the key or something.
I’m a huge Tdi fan as well. You can tell by all my other videos on them.
@@spottedeuros1529 I know you are that's what got me watching you. Wish I was closer would be happy to give you hand from time to time if I was.
Awesome man! Thanks for watching.
if take the all road but i feel like the turbos aren’t functioning as they should. felt the lack of power even just watching the video
Yea, I wondered the same thing. I was expected it to be faster. I think it would throw a code if they weren’t performing correctly. Not sure. Also there was a little bit of a rattle on the driver side of the engine. Maybe a timing component worn or something.
hi, how can i check a tdi engine without key? what is a good sign?
I wasn't able to on this one. You can definitely do a visual inspection.
It’s sad how many of these auction cars are trashed and neglected by their owners. I think that if most of these cars had better care they wouldn’t be so bad.
I agree. I feel for some of these cars. Especially on a newer car That is trashed.
I agree with you that any more than $500 for the Jetta TDI would be risky. At $500 you wouldn't lose because the car could be parted out or sold intact as a parts car. There's a lot of body and engine parts that can be sold on eBay if you're willing to tear into the car. Not such a good day for Euro cars at the auction. Better luck next time.
Exactly. You could easily break even on the car. Comes down to how much the selling is willing to sell it for honestly. They can put a reserve on it. May not sell it for that low.
The Jetta sedan TDI if the car goes for cheap it should still have the TDI buy back warranty I’d buy it most of the car has coverage with the warranty
That is true. I didn't see a sticker under the hood. Not sure if they are still taking them back. I guess they have to.
I think I'd go with the Allroad as it was definitely the cleanest of them all. If I had to pick between the two Jetta's, I'd rather go for that Jetta wagon than the TDI to be honest. Looking at the TDI's overall condition and the fact that it cannot start, I think it's too much risk. If the condition of the exterior and the filthy interior wasn't bad enough, who knows how it was serviced over the years.
I agree. Usually an indicator of bad service. These Tdi are weird thought because almost all of them are in tough shape. That is the VW buy back ones. Covered in dents and body damage and so dirty inside.
@@spottedeuros1529 it's a shame that they all are mainly in tough shape, they really are great cars. I have a 14 Jetta TDI w/Premium for my daily commuter, probably my best auto purchase ever.
I would argue that they are the most economical car you can buy. Especially after the recall. Prices went way down.
@@spottedeuros1529 exactly why I bought mine. It only had 17,650 miles on it and was CPO 2YR unlimited miles bumper to bumper warranty for under 12k. Never have come across a better deal with any other brands.
Yea, that is a deal. They all hit the market at the same time. A bought and sold a lot of them. Unfortunately it looks like they have sold them all. Seems to only have a couple of Passats left. At least at the Auction.
350.- for the jetta
Not even fully warmed up and you’re punching it...smh
Should have done a Camry start.
Audi YES! Luv those Allorads! Smart YES! Jetta NO!
Interesting. A yes on the smart car. Defiantly would be fun. Extremely different which is cool. If it was a hard top I would have been a little more serious about it.
