I've rented different pistols since buying my Glock 34, and this was the most comfortable. Came down to a choice between this and a P229-R. I got this one. Very satisfied with my purchase!
The image-flip is extremely disorientating to me. I have one, but not in mirror image. Mine came with 2 15 round mags. I might own a few firearms, and this one is probably my favorite to shoot. Love it. Decocking to half cock is very normal, and very effective. Double action, makes it safe to carry with a stiff pull while not having the hammer resting on the firing pin. I trust it to not accidentally go off more than your standard trigger safety. I also vastly improved the sights on mine. I took a stiff pin and scraped out that crappy glow in the dark paint that comes in the sights, rubbed out the residue with a q-tip and some rubbing alcohol, and filled the holes with very white nail polish. You won't believe the difference in target acquisition and improved accuracy.
I don't know why the image would be flipped for you. It looks fine from what I can see. Strange. I think I will try out that white nail polish. Thank you.
@@theevenstevenchannel8220 You're right, image isn't flipped, but the foam in your box is. I've never gotten a new gun that points left in the box. Maybe that's how they package blue state compliant ones or something. I like the video though.
I have had and carried one of theses for many years! They are outstanding! Never had any issue at all. Completely stock, excepts for the grips, and I have several thousands rounds through it!
Thx for he vid. And thx for holding the gun calmly in the view. Good vid 3:19 The half cocked hammer makes it possible to safe carry with an easier trigger pull on first round. Great gun
The p01 and Glock 19 are my main carry guns. Both shoot reliably, both are similar size and comfort, both shoot accurately, it’s a but of a pain in the ass to clean because it’s harder to disassemble and much tighter spaces on the inside, hard to get too, but better ergonomics than a Glock make up for it. Love it and won’t ever get rid of it!
This is my everyday carry. Shoots flat because of those internal rails, doesn't irritate my body while appendix carrying, and is just an overall solid choice. The DA is heavy, however, I consider than to be a plus for a CC gun, at least for the first round.
I carry a p07 appendix. I was wondering if the fatter grip of p01 would be a negative for caring compared to the p07. I think the p01 looks cooler anyway
Perfect gun for me in just about every way. I like the hard pull DA and decocker, it's better and safer than an actual safety for me. You might accidentally flip off the safety when drawing a gun with one in the chamber, but there's no way you're going to pull the decocked hammer enough to fire it unless you mean to. The ergonomics and shoot ability of this gun are off the chart. It's medium size, so small enough to carry concealed, without the trade-off in ergos you get with the micro 9s. It is a little heavier than a Glock, a trade-off I'll make every time. Mine came with two 15 round mags. Agree the sights are mediocre at best, I will be upgrading them at some point.
@@ulflyng From everything I've seen, these are really good guns. I've shot an SP01 and was very impressed. I am looking at the P07 and P01 but can only afford one so I'm torn. There seems to be a consensus within the internet gun community that the sights leave much to be desired. I don't understand why CZ doesn't take the hint and put better sights on it (and the PCR) already!
Very similar sights to the Rami which I love. Thinking about picking up one of these to complement the Rami???? Sucks the trigger guard is more rounded so I won’t be able to use my Rami holster.

According to CZ, some new ones are still marked, but some newer ones are not. All has to do with a very minor change to a small spring, if I recall correctly.
I own a cz75 compact all steel with a rail mine has safety instead of a decocker. I couldn't find anything that says which model i have though. I replaced the sights with truglo tfx I'm from jersey as well Exit 12 off the turnpike
Unfortunately, I don't. I don't live in America. I live in New Jersey and even outside the waistband holsters seem to be hard to find. I think it's because that rail adds thickness to it that the normal CZ Compacts don't have.
