My first CZ was a P10F, purchased as a bedside/target piece. Not long after, I switched my EDC to a P10S, mostly because I was having trouble finding a P10C at the time. I scored a used P10C several months ago, and I really liked the extra grip length (I have large-ish hands), so it became my EDC for a while. I hadn't gotten into the DA/SA stuff until I had some overtime money burning a hole in my pocket, and bought a P07 (in part because the magazines from my P10C fit perfectly and the P10F magazines work as "extended capacity"). I'm happier with a DA/SA trigger for EDC with "one in the pipe," so my choice evolved again. Then I started thinking about the 75-series CZ pistols. I thought hard about the P01, the P01 Omega (since I have a P07), and the PCR. The decision came down to the ergonomics (although I might eventually collect the others), and I now have a PCR (I like the decocker a little better than the Omega decocker). I want to practice with it a little more before it becomes my EDC, but I'm getting there.
I’ve never had eyes for a CZ handgun ever. I went to the gun store a few days ago and ended up picking up a CZ sp-01 and I love it so much that im going back for the P-01 today. I have a whole new respect for CZ. Especially the metal frame pistols. Just beauties.

33.4 OZ. for the P-01 Omega w magazine minus the light (Streamlight TLR-A weight 2.4 oz) 33.9 OZ PCR w/ magazine 43.5 OZ P-01 steel frame Just to recap, thank you for this informative video!
Nice unicorn P-01. It's definitely heavy for a pistol that size but it shoots like a full size because of it. You definitely caught the CZ bug. Nice collection you got there.
Do the install yourself and save a ton of waiting and a couple hundred. I did the pro defensive package on my pcr. Took about 2 hours, not bad if you take your time and have moderate skill. The sear cage is the only hard part, everything else takes 5 minutes. Make sure to get the floating trigger pin and hardened rolled firing retaining pin. If you don't carry a light on pistol the pcr is much more comfortable to carry than the p01.
I would put a minimum of 500 rounds through any handgun before changing the trigger! And the Shadow 2 has the best trigger of any of my CZ'S. I've had it for 3 years thousands of rounds and it keeps getting better.

great review...a lot of useful information for the time it took. Interesting to see that the full mags add about 8 oz to list weight of each. Looking at CZs for my 2nd carry gun.. P-01, P-07, P10C, and PCR....all 4 are so good, it's a tough decision. I have only seen, and shot, the P10C in my LGS and can't find the others. One LGS told me today that CZ is probably saving their current production for 2022 releases. If true, it could be a while before I can see these other ones up close.

Wonderful collection. Just one question in regards to the Truglo Sights: I placed these on a P01 and P01 Omega and in both instances the guns shot low. Approximately 4 to 6 inches low at 15 yards from a pistol rest using a Combat Sight Picture. Have you experienced any POA/POI issues with the Truglo's. Thank you
Not sure if they have a model for the P01. But Night Fision makes crazy good night sights. I have them on mt 07 P10C and 10S. I am wanting a 01 next. I also have to have a light on my carry gun.
