Indeed one of the best channels I’ve come across. Thank you for taking the time to explain as you do your work. It helps to understand why you do the things that you so you avoid costly mistakes. Great job guys!
You solved several closet door problems for me ! I did not know they called them “ball bullet catch “ I need those because my current ones aren’t adjustable !
THANK YOU!!! For always being so detailed in the words you use 🙏🏽🙏🏽
I enjoy that you teach as you do. It just makes sense that way.
TIPS TRICKS MY KITCHEN CAME OUT GREAT THANKS
Awesome thx Jennifer 👍
True professionals @ work. You guys do amazing work.
When I install crown I extend it so that the front edge above the doors is flush with the face of the door so that it doesn't look like the doors stick out. the mitre then lines up with the front corner of the doors not the cabinet. Great work, thanks for sharing.
You have a good experience and we benefit from your great experience. Thank you and we wish you success
For the upper crown I would have enclosed the space entirely. Otherwise it will just become a constant dust and grease trap. I might still have used the trim and just extended it upwards at the end to give that nice 3D effect (english is not my first language so this is propably not the best analogy) and avoid making it look like there should have been more height to the cabinets.
Born and raised in SE Louisiana. Love me some airboat rides and casting lines in the marshes.
For the corner crown joints try using hot melt polyurethane adhesive , PUR adhesive. Super strong no pins required. I have used it to pre make dentil blocks. Also running crown on bull nose corners. Pre fab is the way to go.
Great job!
Excellent work.
Please put links to past videos when you mention them.
Y'all know we're lazy and don't want to search for them. LoL
You sure remind me a lot of my dad I really admire your work !!!!
Thank you Adrian 👍
on that face frame notch you couldve either used a hand held jigsaw easy, or some 1/4" scribe on the bottom and wall. Thats what we use, I install cabinets.
Excellent vid
Thanks for the molding and trim parts.. really helps.
Really nice work guys
Excelente videos learn alot
Your videos are great’!!!!
Fantastic job!!
That's a big gator!
I just did a kitchen remodel. My knees are killing me! Same cabinets. Looks great.
on toe kick you can also use 3M 90 adhesive and it will literally never come off again.
I watched this and the crown video to see how you cut that molding and trim for the angle cabinet. I was disappointed you skipped over it.
Excellent job,...some behind the crown accent lighting would look nice.
We agree Shawn! Jordan recommended LIFX LED Strips, but he puts them on everything! LOL
Thank you for the video. Can you please cover the 22.5 cuts?
Awesome job!
wow you guys are awesome
You can use CA glue and activator with the yellow glue on those miters no need for the pins to fill later
Love the content gentlemen. My wife and I started a construction complaint about 14 months ago and she wants to start a channel as well, kinda nervous about it
Go for it Stephen👍
Will the mixer still fit under the cabinet with the lighting shield in place? You guys are really rocking the team work, great to see.
Great work gang!!
What’s your social media (IG?)... I’m trying to reach out
EXCELLENT!!!!
Nice chisels! I would have used CA glue with activator instead to avoid that yellow color glue on the miters. Plus it's fast setting and strong.
Thx, love that chisel set. I need to buy some CA, it's on my list 👍
Hey, great video, I'm wondering where you picked up that under cabinet light trim. Can't find it anywhere. Thanks
Great job. 👍🏼 liked and subscribed
You guys rock!
Hey there, just found the channel, love the content. Which video shows the template for the handles?
17:19 I bent out of the way as if I was there... feel like I'm along for the journey
Ok so how do I fill in the gaps in the rail if my cuts are imperfect
Nice precision cutting?
Do those under cabinet lights require an external transformer?
I would have enclosed that small space above the cabinets up to the ceiling.
Thx Rick! No, these Elite under cabinet lights are plug and play. We discussed enclosing that small space but owners wanted it done this way.
@@StudPack I was coming to see if there were any comments on the subject, see if that was typical, but the clients directives to do as such, settles that. 🤪
We appreciate ya! 👌
@@StudPack Also, you ever use "dummy doors" for the side of the cabinets that are visible, such as a break for the window over the kitchen sink? I asked a contractor that I was considering and he had never heard of it.
Did y’all make those double doors? If not, can you share where they came from?
The 22 1/2 cut what’s the one cut on the left and right meeting the 22 1/2
Very nice, also the snug fits. Why didn't you block the top of the cabinets altogether? I'm trying to so this on mine with simple plinths because having the space up there somehow entices it for storage, while dust collects in unhygienic amounts up there. Why does this seem standard for kitchens, not to go ceiling height?
@Stud Pack I have cabinets with crown that doesn't go all the way to the ceiling. My wife wants me to make it go all the way to ceiling. I'm sure you have a good reason, but why didn't you have it go all the way to ceiling? I'm trying to save myself some work!
👍👍
👍👍👍👍👍
Hi, on the rcs cabinets with the lip edge, how do you make them meet each other if one is 15 depth and another 12? Do you add a side board to meet the lip edge, insert a filler, or do you just go ahead and push together? By lip edge I'm referring to the edge you chipped out in this video.
Can you give a link to the video about the pulls?
Where did you get the led lighting?
Where did you get that under cabinet trim. Can't find it anywhere, even contacted Door&Trim Wholesaler, do tell please, because I really like it! Thanks. :)👍😀
Hi there, did you put panels under the wall cabinets to hide the wires?
where do you buy the light rail molding? I'm having a hard time finding it. Thanks and great videos; they help a lot!!
the light rail molding came with the cabinets
quavana.com
@@StudPack ok. Thought so. I was able to find something like it a Lowe’s. Thanks so much for these videos. They have helped me so much!!
What length of 23 gauge did you use to hold light rail and your door jamb to the frame? Tia
What type of wood did you use for the toe kick?
Hope to can help answer a question for me, with a small 1/16-1/8” gap in some places above my painted gray kitchen cabinets, once the gaps are filled do you paint them to match the color of the cabinets or the ceiling white?
I think I'd bring the ceiling color down over the caulk. I think that would easier and you'd have a better line between the white and gray
Lighting looks good but I sure would not want that junction box hanging down within every day view.
Hello, gang !!! Question do you recomend install tile first and then set the kitchen cabinets or viceversa?
I was told that you would do your cabinets first and then the floor. Because the floor will be running under your cabinets if you decide to change the floor later. I’m in the process of having my kitchen remolded this week . I hope this information is helpful
Awesome video! What kind of light rail/moulding would I use if my cabinet doors extend all the way down to the very edge of the cabinet? No space for the lip of the rail....
I don't get it? 5:55 if ur putting a white panel over the original one to hide nails, why the heck nail that too? that's pointless especially that the nails are anyway visible - that's just a double job with the same result. Why not simply glue it?
I am confused on where to purchase this crown. I went to
HD & Lowe’s and both has crown that doesn’t have same lips to hang over. Would you post a link to the crown you would use? Thanks!!
Hey Tyler and taryn. I’m confused about the lip you’re talking about. This is a standard profile crown supplied by the cabinet company. Email me if you want studpack225@gmail.com
Thx
@14:49 or a multi tool just very carefull ?
I'd hesitate using a multi tool. No control/blade kerf/etc. but I suppose it could be done with correct techniques 👍
What model trim for bottom of cabinets did you use
It came with the cabinet package. It's called light rail if that helps. I don't have a model # or description.
It should be LRM-8
Do you guys have a website ?
love the content, how to contact you?
👍👍
