My wife is from Germany so only a Bosch product would do. It wasn't my favorite job installing ours but as you pointed out, it's not a terrible thing to do.
We had our old dishwasher for 32 years. (not a Bosch) My wife is still experimenting on the best way to load it. This project was pretty easy, but I don't really enjoy being under a sink.
I just bought the same washer as yours. Can I install the dish washer without the junction box?
It comes with a power cord that plugs into a 120V outlet, so yes you can plug it in to an existing receptacle if you have one the cord will reach. Or you can have a receptacle installed near the dishwasher location. I show the cord it came with in my video.

Sorry, not sure what you're asking.
At 19:43 in the video. Bend the tabs after you put it in slot and then position the dishwasher under the counter where you want it and put a screw into the bracket in one of the holes at the front into the underside of the countertop.
Just replaced my 24+ year old Kenmore with a 800 series Bosch this week (1/8/24). Needless to say, it's gonna take some getting used to.

Great video! Thank you. This is probably a stupid question, but i'd like to clean the filter weekly, or at least once a month. The process looks easy, were it not for the fact that the spray arm (which has a three pointed spinny end) is always blocking the filter area. I'm terrified that if i try to lift or manually move that spray arm, i'll break it. Is it safe to just shove or lift the arm out of the way?
Thanks! I'm not sure I just installed it for my wife, she is kind of the pilot of the thing, I just installed it, and she maintains it per the instructions.
Do you just pull the door open? Or do you have to push anything to undo the latch?
