Does Bryce realize he’s standing up for the ultra privileged? Standing up for people like Hippensteel and Speegle when they have had every opportunity and meanwhile are cheating people underneath them in the standings who are competing with integrity! The reason we all love you, Hiller, is because you have a platform and are saying everything that we all see and can’t do anything about. If Bryce could be objective for a second, he would see that you’re not attacking individuals as much as you’re standing up for people. Well done Hiller. I love this video.
He talks like a mega-church preacher and because of that, it's very hard for me to take him seriously. One of the main reasons I like your content is that you are straightforward and aren't using pretty language just because you can. Thank you for being the honestly honest!
This is ace. I like how passionate you are. Bryce uses lots of words and manages not to say anything at all. No examples no specifics... boring. Hiller you are awesome. Fykowski. He said it and your reaction didnt disappoint.
Feels like he has a podcast to show off, in his humble opinion, how deep and complicated his mind is and how many words he knows. He wants people to listen to him and think “wow this guy is smart and has good vocabulary and great understanding of the human mind” when in reality, we all get annoyed because we can see through his sentences. We know he wants to sound smart. He tries to mindread the athletes he interviews and put their thoughts into complex sentences. The only problem is, he is a smartass and he can’t hide it, because his approach isn’t humble enough.
"If everybody just skirts the line on the movement standards it's a race to the bottom". Yes Hiller. And a race to the bottom is what we get if everyone was forever nice and positive and uncritical.
Honestly this illustrates just how good of an interviewer Sevan is that he keeps his cool and probes into the mind of someone who is attacking his friend.
One of the things i love about Hiller is that he doesn't just make a statement. He clips videos to explain and pieces comments together to further explain each comment. Just like this whole video.
I can tangibly feel this guys insecurity through my phone screen. People like hiller because he says what he thinks, that guy says things that he only wants to believe.
My favourite point from @hillerfit here is that the people who are good enough, who are actually pushing the limits of what’s possible, never skirt the line. I feel like this is something I heard from him way back during the open 22
Great job Andrew! When I watched this Sevan Podcast, all that I could think about is how much I’m going to enjoy Hiller’s response to this nonsense. 👍🏼👍🏼🦇🦇
When I first started CrossFit, Bryce was a coach at that box. I purposely avoided any classes he taught. All the other coaches were incredible and even some games athletes and champions. Eventually he was part of the reason why I ended up going to a different box.
One of the best arguments for "enhancing the space" is Roman's recent comment that it made him even more aware of his movement and fulfilling the standards.

I had this same thought. That paired with Hiller's line about a race to the bottom describes Western Culture 😥
