finally started today very spontaneously after months in a slump and even though my body naturally is still very creaky it was so nice to remind it of the feeling of being moved again thank you so much
My body has been feeling kinda creaky and I’ve been craving some movement in my routine. this was perfect to start off. Though, I could really feel the difference in my body because I haven’t been moving as much as I was earlier in the year, your reassurance about meeting your body where it is, and seeing those feelings as information and not an emergency was super helpful. So thank you, Laura! Super excited for what else you have in store for the upcoming days :)

loved this - I have so much happening this December (moving in with my partner, traveling for the holidays, coordinating and producing spring shows with my community theatre group, and celebrating my first holiday season out of grad school) so I’m thrilled to have this series as a reminder to keep in touch with my body during this hectic but exciting season!! I’m also starting with a crunchy creaky body! Hmm an intention.. maybe listen to my current body (minus comparing the past) and just enjoy how good it feels to move. Thank you from Texas 💕

Thanks for these sessions Laura! I've just started working and I feel like I lose so much time these days decompressing by scrolling on my phone, I absolutely hate it. Trying to incorporate a little bit of movement into everyday to get into the habit of decompressing and relaxing in other ways that don't make me feel sluggish and sad. This series came at a perfect time :) It'll probably get a bit hectic around christmas (in a good way) but I'll try to stick to these daily sessions (or at least set some time aside in my day to stretch) I'm also thinking that I'll start this series all over again in January, to start the year with a nice daily movement habit. Thanks again for the resource 🤍
oh, I love that idea! Don't be afraid to skip days & hop right back in, it's built with that in mind. :) I've been stuck in scroll mode too, and it's the WORST - sometimes if I really can't pull myself out of it, I'll bring my phone down to the floor & just kinda roll around while I scroll... often the stretching becomes more interesting than the scrolling & I phase right into that! Sometime not, but then at least I did a little stretching, ya know?

Accommodations Question! When I'm in a lunge position the knee that is on the mat begins to feel uncomfortable after a while in the knee cap area. Any recommendations to ease this discomfort?
