    I made more rows of the beginning front post because I love that part showing where you called it inside out. I think you have 19-20 rows of the V stitch, that’s what I did. Love this hat and I’m going to make 4-7 in different colors. Thank YOU so much

    Thank you for this pattern for the slouch hat.
    Would you have a pattern to match for mittens or fingerless gloves and a scarf to match?
    I could get ahead of the game and get ready for this next winter. And could make some great birthday gifts ahead of time or just a gift to give. Put the whole set in a gift bag. I have lots of friends who would cherish a simple yet beautiful gift like this.
    Thank you Jennifer.

    I have a question about the band. Please help!! The edge curls up around the bottom. It seems the underneath ridge (where the fpdc's are) is pushing up the dc foundation row. How can i get the bottom to lay flat? Wondering if there something i am doing wrong or is this happening to anyone else? Other than that, the pattern is beautiful and a quick work up. I sized down to 52 chains using a #5 yarn. Was the same count (52) for a #6 yarn. My head is smaller sized though, so i expected that.

      Sometimes it helps to use a hook size up to start a beginning chain. Since the first stitch is such a large stitch its absorbing the small chain stitch. Usually on many projects the next stitch is smaller like single crochet. Try a hook size up on your beginning chain.

    Why are my rows starting to curl? Yours look flat.

    • @taehyungkim4267
      @taehyungkim4267 Год назад

      Mostly like because your tension is to tight the tighter you make your stitches the more difficult it gets to work with and it starts to curl with crochet you really have to crochet more loosely than you're used to I had that problem in the beginning to but if you loosing up more it will get more flat don't stiffen up your pols and hand just let it float :) I hope it works and if you have anymore questions you can always ask me

  • @QUEENZI

    Isn't a 24 inch hat very large? I thought womens size was about 22 in. And mens 22-23 inch.

      Where do you get 24 inches? She mentions the rows equaling 12 inches. For hat width just make your beginning chain fit your head

      She mentions its a 24 inch circumference size hat at the beginning before she mentions 12 inch tall and 2 inch brim. Its noted in the transcript at 0.44 and 0.46 secs.
