Hey y'all, it has been brought to my attention that this video does not have Closed Captioning available. Sorry about that. I want all of my videos to be accessible to everyone. I checked with RUclips and Auto Translate is not available for this video. That's super weird because the option is available in my other videos. I am going to have to add the subtitles and transcript manually which is going to take some time, since it is a 36 minute video. Also, the link to the written pattern is in the description box.

Thank you, you are a good teacher and know how to make a understandable video you have long nails but they are not painted with a shocking color or strange pattern that would be distracting. Thanks for not twirling the yarn around your fingers 80 times which knitter tutorials tend to do more than crochet, and you speak clearly and actually have a soothing voice which in itself sounds encouraging.

I wanted to say "THANK YOU SO MUCH" for this beautiful easy tutorial. I make hats and blankets for the homeless in my community. I know these people will love them. They are going to be so grateful and they're so beautiful and so easy for me to do, I also work in a homeless maternity shelter and one of my girls saw me doing this and now she wants to learn, so you've given so much more than you could ever imagine I so appreciate you.
    Thank you

I'm so happy! I was watching snither channel trying to learn how to make this. The person had errors in it. I thought I was the one messing up. I went on another search and found your channel. Your tutorial is Outstanding! I had no issues following you. You're thorough, patient, clear, providing examples and all. I'm just so happy. I subscribed to your channel and I hit that bell! I'm looking forward to learning more from you. Im almost finished. Im about to start the decrease now. I would love to send you a picture when I finish. Blessings! 😍😍😍😍

Hello Ms. Queen. I have to say that in all the hat videos I have watched and I tell you there have been a lot, none of them compares with your teachings. You are very skillful at what you do and very pleasant to hear. Love how you take the time to explain every step for the ones that can’t make a hat yet. I will try this one soon. Thank you for sharing.

At 9 minutes into your video, I KNEW this would be my Favorite! I love your voice > it's calm & easy to listen to, and I've the way your work looks so far! I'm sure I'll have to slow- down the speed when I actually start to crochet this hat because your nimble fingers move much faster than my old 🧠 can follow! ( I had a stroke a few years ago & am re-learning everything I once knew!) Thank you So Much for sharing & teaching your creative skill❣️

I just finished your Westerley Slouchy Hat that I made for my granddaughter. I downloaded your free pattern on Ravelry. I added 5 rows to make the slouch a little longer since she gets long braid extensions. This pattern was easy and fast to crochet. Can’t wait to see more of your free download patterns. Thank you.

Success! I added 4 or 5 extra rows for extra slouch, as you suggested and it came out perfectly. Thank you. I posted a pic of my finished one, and my aunt asked me to make her one. I posted your pattern on my page and these are not going to be sold. I know how people feel about that. Anyway, thank you so much for the pattern. I was able to gift two hats and thats what I love about crochet. Sharing the love. ❤

I am a beginner and I wanted to try making this hat but I only had DK yarn and both size 5mm/4mm hooks, it turned out really small lol so would I have to change hook sizes? I must try and get the correct yarn, I looked up your pattern and it says you can use DK or Worsted weight but as I say, I just tried usin DK and it was tiny? I am in the UK so would it be same size hooks..5mm and 4mm as I haven't seen size G/H over here? I love the colour of that yarn, it's beautiful, can you tell me the name of the colour? I would appreciate your advice...tfs :)
