Interesting fact: The street fight between Rocky and Tommy was choreographed by former pro-wrestler Terry Funk (RIP). Funk had worked with Stallone years earlier in a film called Paradise Alley (1978), and again as a bodyguard in Over The Top (1987).
This is my favorite Rocky movie. It's my favorite because 1) Just seeing Sylvester Stallone act with his real-life son Sage was beautiful (RIP) 2) It had Tommy Morrison in it and he was a great boxer in real life (RIP) 3) There is nothing better than an old school street fight.
@@clevelandcbi Just rewatched that fight on youtube. Tommy was working Mercer rounds 1-3. Then Mercer ended up unloaded on him in the 5th with a brutal combination and laid him out cold. Exciting fight!
@@Jaysun1 Mercer said Morrison was hitting him so hard he was peeing himself and farting...lol. Mercer had the greatest chin. Very under rated HW. Toe to Toe with Lewis and Holyfield
I honestly don't see a problem with teaching a boy how to defend himself in a fight. School can be a rough place, my dad knew that. So he taught me some of the things he learned in the Army. He even taught my little sister a few things.
The original ending was much more dark and disturbing in tone and background music, seeing as how Rocky dies and all. He's protesting to the crowd, asking why they want blood. But the one thing I wish they had kept in was that at the end Rocky helps Tommy to his feet.
rocky jr is played by sylvester stallone's real-life son sage, while tommy gunn is played by tommy the duke morrison who i think is the great-great-nephew of john wayne. rip to both
This is a awesome Rocky movie awesome funny movie 🎥 reaction bro the Red int he front row was funnyyyy lol l was laughing my butt off too lol 🤣🤣 you called the Promoter Don King yep 👍 he makes a good 😊😂 Don King lol 🤣
Rocky V is a fascinating, its not good but there are memorable moments, it paralleled Stallone's career-he was washed up, relying more on nostalgia then the natural drama relaism stories he started out in, and you can tell this movie feels more Hollywood-esq as the other rocky movies had been moving too. This one however took it too far and combined with admittedly not great acting on msot of the cast, and not great direction from director john alverstone (the og director for rocky) or "not director" stallone, there's something off. The movie certainly deserves some respect in the better moments, and its greatest legacy was that it forced stallone to take a break. After rocky v, his career faltered, becoming more of a parody but without much fanfare. In 2006,stallone learned from his mistakes and returned...
6:59 I had my picture taken with that very same bike at the London Planet Hollywood not long after Stallone/Schwarzenegger/Willis opened it, and have the old school Polaroid to prove it
Tommy Gunn says that he knows everything about Rocky, yet I doubt that, because IF he knew Rocky, he'd have remembered that Rocky's full time job coming up was a leg breaker for a 2nd rate loan shark. LoL 😆.
Even if this was considered the weakest sequel, there was levels. It was going to be the last one. In fact, Rocky was suppose to die in the original ending. The street fight left people kinda cold. Many felt Rocky & Tommy should've fought in the ring. But acknowledging the street fight does remind anybody that really knows the streets, if you put your hands on somebody's people, then you know to start throwing hands. At the end of the day, this was about Rocky's family going back to their original roots. Reclaming one's manhood and showing the utmost respect is what matters. Being rich or poor happens to everyone, anywhere. Going from rags to riches is never easy. Stay strong, persevere and keep your heart means everything. Pass on what you've learn to others, by blood or by bond. Everything will fall into place and others will learn to be the best they can be. RIP to those involved with R5:Burgess Meredith (Mickey), Stallone's real life son-Sage (Rocky Jr.), real-life boxer Tommy Morrison (Tommy Gunn) and Oscar-winning director John G. Avildsen (2 Rocky films 1976-1990).
There are two types of people: Those who think Demolition Man is an incredible action comedy that hits all the right notes. ... And those who are wrong. Watch it, Mr. Video, you'll absolutely love it!
Tommy the Duke Morrison was my fav boxer. Maybe because he was the great white hope for heavy weights. Don't get me wrong. Not racist at all. But being young all the great boxers I knew were black. It was cool seeing a white dude kick so much ass. My gosh he was good! Tyson wouldn't fight him. Forman admitted how tough he was and said no one punched harder in his career. A positive his blood test 5 min before the title fight kept him from being champ.
If you want to see Mickey (Burgess Meredith) in a absolutely hilarious comedy role you should check out "Grumpy Old Men" and the sequel "Grumpier Old Men"
Tommy Gunn was actually a very good fighter named Tommy Morrison. He actually did beat George Foreman even though he was 43 years old. I was at the fight and believe me Morrison fought the fight of his life and George was really trying to knock him out. If you watch Tommy Morrison's highlights you will be impressed. You tha man Leo. Always great reactions!
He was a great fighter with a lot of potential. Unfortunately he was never the same after that brutal ko by Ray Mercer and an incompetent ref that just sat and watched. Not long after that he was diagnosed with HIV and RIP
@@rapodejko Tommy Morrison should never be considered a great fighter. I was Tommy Morrison's biggest fan but you have to acknowledge that he blew a lot of opportunities himself. Morrison was getting knocked out that fight no matter what. He ran out of gas and kept getting hit consistently by Mercer who was a good puncher and had a great chin. Morrison was a very entertaining fighter and very good fighter but he was never great. Tommy's chin and cardio always let him down.

Watch real-life Tommy Morrison getting knocked out by Ray Mercer. Was so brutal it was shown in a scene of an underrated but hilarious movie called The Great White Hype.
Thought 5 is mixed I appreciate what it tried, Sage Stallone Sylvester’s son played Rocky’s son Robert. Really anticipate Rocky 6, lives to the hype and that speech “it ain’t about how hard you hit” it’s perfection. Ya got the terrific Creed movies to look forward to after.
It’s funny you mentioned Don King when watching this movie because about 5-6 years after this movie came out, Tommy Morrison (Tommy Gunn) signed Don King’s contract for $38.5 million dollars for 3 fights RIGHT before Tommy got diagnosed with HIV!
One of the few reactors that I enjoy watching. He doesn’t talk over the dialogue and doesn’t yell at the mic

I can't think of him and immediately not remember Ray Mercer pummeling him lol. It was BRUTAL.

Yes..
The scene with Mickey is one of my all time favs of these and in film
Epic ❤
"Get up, you son of a bitch!!! Because Mickey loves you!!!" is my alarm on my phone
Well, now I have to change my alarm.
edit: actually right now I have Gonna Fly Now for my alarm. Now I'm not sure which to use.
I loved rocky v
Gotta watch Rocky Balboa aka Rocky 6 before you watch creed

Finally!! Bro I've really been waiting for this!
I know you wanna get into the Creed movies, but hopefully you won't skip the film Rocky Balboa! It's got some really great moments in it
Greatest movie series all time.
even though we were all excited for this reaction, lets not forget it took this man 2 1/2 years to upload 5 rocky movies💀😂
Come and get that respect.
LMAO THIS MAN QUOTE DRAGON TALES 1 minute in THAT SHOW WAS OG!!!! LMAO HAHAHAHA
34:02 Tommy gun has officially run out of bullets omg your awesome
Lmfao “He finding stuff behind everybody ears” 😂
I have been waiting for this yay...he didnt have brain damage thats what doctors thought in the 80s

Yeah I remember all of it.
Rip tommy morrison
Oscar man Oscar! Silvester Stallone and many many others.
Got one more Rocky to go. Rocky Balboa.
Then the creeds which I really enjoy
Yes, gotta do the Creeds. 👍
basically watch this whole guys life in a movie
Plz just skip that one. Basically filler except for that one person.

ROCKY BALBOA (2006)
"last fight of rocky"
Tommy Gunn says that he knows everything about Rocky, yet I doubt that, because IF he knew Rocky, he'd have remembered that Rocky's full time job coming up was a leg breaker for a 2nd rate loan shark. LoL 😆.
Did you know Tommy Gunn is a real boxer? His real name is Tommy Morris but he passed away from AIDS.
@@JohnWick-xg4hl Yes I did, but unfortunately in real life, he had a bad ending.
Hope he kept in “no guys ain’t no pie eatin contest” best insult and protecting them at same time. Rocky is the goat 😆
I'm ready for Rocky Balboa ...Let's go!
Sylvester Stallone, real life son Sage played as Rocky’s son in this movie…. Sadly, he died back in 2012
rocky balboa next and then on to creed!!! you the goat
3:17 Adrian should have kept her mouth shut.
Don t wai to long with 6, Rocky Balboa! More along the lines of 1 n 2 vibe wise. One of my favourites.
Happy Father’s Day
Bro u gotta see ”Lets be cops” you Will love it, funny humour! Good twists.
What happened to the “twelve angry men” reaction? Was saving it to watch today, and now I can’t find it.

The final movie after this is one of my favorites
I love how by the time Rocky 5 came along it had a new jack swing style soundtrack. Probably because he moved into inner city Philly😁
Creed after rocky
He said my ring is outside!!!! Bruh
The reason they call Tommy the Duke is he's related to John Wayne. The duke.... cowboy from the movies
I think John Wayne was his great uncle.
Pauly is so damn frustrating. It's always one step forward, two steps back with that guy.
Can’t wait for you to react to the Creed Movies!
Did they tell you that is his real son that passed away? His name is Sage Stallone.
God bless you Mr Video
Hey, is it possible to put the 12 angry men reaction back up? Was gonna watch it when it just disappeared.
Why did everybody call him Don King
Rip Sage Stallone
What about the creeds
Hey man your teeth look great!
Looks like Jaws! Lol I'm jus teasing
Mike Tyson's biggest downfall is when he signed with Don King
"Mr Duke E. " 😂🤣

Tommy was someone anyone can get behind by
He was the 3rd Great White Hope after Jim Jeffries and Gerry Cooney
Weird time to get results from a doping test. "5min before the fight"🤔
Years later later he tested negative and no one could find the record of his positive test. Someone screwed Tommy out of his career.
