I come from a post-soviet country and I first saw this movie on a DVD disk I found in a junkyard. It was a compilation of movies with Martin Lawrence on one side and the Wayans brothers on the other. I remember the DVD was called "Black Humor" (I know, racism). It was then, as a kid, that I was introduced to black culture and I completely fell in love. It was a great time..

This shit is crazy. Yesterday I was looking up reactions to this movie and there was literally nothing except 2 people with like no views (or charisma. That's why they got no views). This is my 2nd favorite knight movie (A knight's tale is first) I can't believe you are doing a reaction the next day that's a hilarious coincidence. Like if I say Polar bears love solar flares and then tomorrow you see a video about a polar bear looking at a solar flare that just happened 3 minutes prior your brain will explode as mine did when I saw this video appear in my feed.
My mom used to buy me random movies for my birthday and this was one of them, still have the dvd. Can't even count how many times I've watched it. The dance scene makes me lose it every damn time
That's when you know you got a great movie, watch it like 100 times or more and it never gets old

The crazy thing about public executions is that we aren't all that far removed from them. We like to think that public executions occurred back in the medieval times, but in the western world we've actually had public executions as recently as the 70s in France.
Even still, *technically* speaking you can attend an execution in US prisons, but I don't count those as public executions since they're sitll occurring in a private environment and you have to apply and get approval to attend the execution instead of simply walking up to it like you could in the past.
Still, my point is that we aren't all that far removed from our ancestors who went to public executions to see what was up. We've always been fascinated with death.

Then many women using that to their advantage for money. Many treat each other like crap and wonder why love can't be found. I have been doing medieval recreation all my life and what surprises me is some of the armor in this is better historically (maybe not this time period but an actual valide armor piece) than some big budget movies that are trying to be serious. And NOPE you didnt want to live back then. Heck I wouldnt have wanted to live before the 70s.

I remember when I saw it with my step-father that the part where Jamal was teaching the rebels some self-defense, he was telling me that some of them was moves that football players do. When he returned to the real world, it was a major coincidence that the girl that he met in that time period also exists in ours. Great one as always. Check out Game Night or Night School (Extended Edition). They’re both great forms of comedy. 😉

This is the better, funnier version of a Kid In King Arthur's Court from the 90s. Don't watch it. It's not funny. Kate Winslet and Daniel Craig are in it, but it's awful. I still thing the premise has been done to death, but Martin Lawrence is funny enough that it's good enough. I actually like Blue Streak and National Security more. And the Bad Boys movies are pretty funny. The first is excellent.

Yo bro, you need to watch some Spike Lee. Do The Right Thing is one of the most important movies of the last 30 or 40 years. Seriously highly recommend it. Forewarning, you will get angry. Its about real life matters, but its extremely important.
