The only reason it's not around today is because there's no generational talent doing adult comedy anymore. Everyone realized it makes no money at all relative to doing some stupid superhero movie or a netflix series. There's plenty of content still being put out that goes way further past 'the line' than ever before, there's just nobody good doing it.
He had what happened to Brendan Fraser happen to him and took a step back from Hollywood which is unfortunate cuz he was great in everything he was in of course Hollyweird had to ruin it if you don't play ball you don't get to play at all
This movie is WILDLY underrated, in my opinion. It still makes me laugh. There's so many good quotes and they don't hold back on the comedy side. It's also oddly kind of wholesome.
Another great Seann William comedy you should check out, Leo, is Goon. Been a long time since I watched this one, only saw it once in theaters when I was a teenager. Remember it being funny.
I used to LARP with two different groups, a medieval fantasy group and a zombie apocalypse group. It's fucking fun as hell, and all of the people are seriously good people. It's a cool scene.
Alot of people laugh at it, and I have never personally done it myself but I will say atleast they are doing something outside and having fun in the fresh air and sunshine, too many in that age group that never leave their computer games so I can't really bash larping
My town, even surrounding towns, are way too small to have enough people to do something like that. My son is 13 and loves D&D and other tabletops and we've tried to start different things but there's only a few other kids who like that sort of thing. They all get together sometimes but it's sad. It was always just sports when I was a kid and I didn't like it but it was all there was to do. I don't want him to be forced to do stuff he doesn't want to do like I was.
@@matthew6427 I would give it a Google! The first group I was a part of was in central Oklahoma, so there are definitely groups that are operating in small communities. I live in Colorado now, but the group I was part of here also met outside a tiny mountain town. Often times, rural communities make good spaces for LARPing because they build a lot of props and sets. Your son sounds like me, and LARPing was a blast. Met some of the best people I've ever met doing it.
Paul Rudd is one of my favourite actors. He's so believable in every movie he's in. As well as being funny. Seann William Scott is Stiffler in every movie he's in, and in this movie, that works. I also loved Jane Lynch as well as the 2 kids. It's also one of the best 2000s "raunchy comedies" and I found myself enjoying it more than 40 Year Old Virgin and The Hangover even, because these are all people, they're not just cartoon characters who say funny things.
@@Talisman09 British comedy is the best. Much better than American and more intelligent. Americans might think it’s cringeworthy, but sophistication is not their strong point.
At the little historic shopping village in my town, they hold different events and things. And one is The Renaissance Fair. It was actually super cool. Everyone dressed up. Different scenes being played out as you walk through. Music being played by little bands. Different exhibits.
The side characters in these movies are always my favorite. Great comedians just doing an amazing job. Ken Marino and Kerri Kenney-Silver as the parents, Joe Lotruglio as the happy dude at the larp. Jayne Lynche.
The part where paul is watching american me made me love that song that is playing while he watches is. "Falling slowly" as the guy gets shanked up and pushed over the top tier cells. Broken and bent, is the song.
i sing your intro every time and it genuinely makes my day better. Positive affirmations and all that. Keep doing you, man. I appreciate you and everything you do for the channel.
LARP'ing is actually very fun if you can get passed the '' its nerd '' mentality, fun watching and participating in man. Also you fr the funniest reactor out there lmao
I was sitting here refreshing hoping and hoping anything would pop up and make just a few min of my day a little bit better and you came through my dude.
Ant-Man, Stifler, McLovin, Mr. Chow, and Sue Sylvester, not to mention other supporting cast from Superbad, The Hangover, and Reno 911. This is an underrated movie.
"I might have jinxed Danny by saying that earlier.... My bad Danny. You still got the truck, that's dope." [Me as someone who's already seen the movie... then takes note of the time on the video] 😳😝🤣🤣
That kinda fantasy stuff is usually called "Larp" Live Action Role Play. It's as popular as Dungeons and Dragons an there's probably groups that do it where you life. Should totally go to one just to check it out. I think there's renfaire's over there too. Idk im not in america, but ya'll got some of the bigger fantasy role play groups over there. xD Really fun stuff!
Love this movie! Never gets old. You should check out Goon. It's a Hockey movie where Sean William Scott plays an Enforcer on the ice. Complete different set of acting skills from "Stiffler"...you will love it!
The movie he's watching that shows the guy getting stabbed is "American Me" its a movie about the mexican mafia, kinda like the movie you reacted to "blood in blood out"
YO!!! Been a long time since I recommended this one. I’m glad you watched it. My wife hates this movie but it’s one of my all time favorites. When Paul Rudd calls out his awful parents. Love that scene so much.
Idk about anyone else but huge KISS fan here. So glad u reacted to this movie Mr. video. When this first came out I remember people telling me I gotta go see it. They knew I’d love it for the KISS references. Love gun scene. Best in the movie.

I used to watch this movie so much when it came out on DVD, mainly for Jane Lynch's character "Gayle." So many quotables! 😩😭 Always wanted to do live action role play too. It was fun rewatching with you.
Yes, Beth is a KISS song. So is Love Gun & Detroit Rock City which they played when the Minotaur truck rocked up with them in KISS makeup. I have not seen this movie for a long time so not sure if there are any other KISS songs in the movie. Make sure you check them all out. All great songs.
Dude finally! I absolutely love this movie! It’s funny af and just a great story. Jane Lynch (Gayle Sweeny) is such an awesome and underrated comedic actress
Sean William Scott is great in everything, there are a couple films he does where he isn’t like the Stifler character is when he plays a hockey player in the movie Goon, there is a 2nd Goon movie as well. The last song that Paul Rudd is singing is a KISS song called Beth, the original singer was actually the drummer from KISS, not Paul Stanley who for the most part is the lead vocalist (even though Gene sings a bunch as well. I would love to see a part 2 of this film.
I love KISS hello from an old rock heavy metal girl from 🇬🇧 just add this is one of my favourite comedies and pineapple express thanks for putting on such bangers
I never was a KISS fan. However, I worked one of their last concerts last year at a local racetrack in crandon Wisconsin. After I was done with my job I was able to watch them perform front row. And God damn. Those geriatric MFS nailed it. Absolutely put on a crazy fun show. Happy I got to witness it.
Should add the “ Rundown” to the list , it’s The Rock and Sean William Scott , funny action movie , keep killing it , “ Bulletproof Monk “ was another enjoyable action funny movie with Sean William Scott as well
@IT'S MR. VIDEO. Here's an interesting tidbit about this movie. Most of the dialogue was made on the spot. In 2007 there was a writer's strike, so nothing could be written. Jane Lynch was brilliant as Gayle Sweeny, rest of the cast were great.
