Comments were off the first hour hopefully they are working now !!!!
You’re the 🐐 Leo
🌸 Do you recognize the boy with the glasses, Leo? He was in the Logic & Eminem song Homicide. He played Logic
Your reaction to that line "What are you talking about Yeah yeah, you run like a duck!" LMFAO!!! Great reaction, thanks!!
And doesn't Squints look like Steve-O as a little kid?
Thanks Leo
Leo is the best ❤
just got home from working a good 11 hour shift.. tired, hurting, pissed... then i saw this thumbnail and it was an instant smile. i'm so glad you're reacting to this classic
Dude! This might be the quickest video I've ever clicked on. Totally get it!!
I'm the exact same scenario right now my friend
Perfect video to unwind and de-stress to
💪
Absolutely! I am sorry you had a hard day and hope tomorrow will be much better. 😊
Same. Couldn't wait to get home from work. Bought some wings and a couple tall boys.
“You’re killing me, Smalls!”
I still say that sometimes.
I say it at least once a week!
Cause he said it in the movie, yeah.
Cause he said it in the movie.
I say that all the time.
Those who know, know.
The older Benny as a Dodger is the real life brother of little Benny.
That's cool
Makes sense - he looks just like him
I never knew that!
Dang nice. I remember watching a few interviews with Patrick Renna (the dude who coins the "You're Kiling Me Smalls" phrase), he has a clothing company called "Hambino Atheletics" with some pretty sweet apparel. Not only that but a cool story he told about James Earl Jones and them getting him to say "I am your father" for all the kids on set. Such a timeless movie.
Babe picked up Henry “Hank” Aaron’s baseball card who later broke Babe Ruth’s home run record. So it was just a nod to Hank and his accomplishments in passing The Great Bambino.
#42 ?
Cause that's a title of another baseball movie I haven't seen yet.
@@oteroair 42 is another great baseball movie, but the number is in reference to Jackie Robinson’s jersey number (Which is now retired by every team) The movie is about Jackie being the first African American baseball player in the major leagues and everything he went through.
Babe Ruth had 714 home runs in his career which was thought to be an unbreakable record until Hank Aaron passed him on April 8th 1974 with his 715th home run. He ended his career with 755.
@@calebk8202 only because he was on steroids. Cope
"Idk why, but can I have this, kid?"
I love that he said that well before Hank Aaron broke the HR record.
That was awesome.
Just pulled an 8 hr shift in this 102° heat. This is exactly what I needed. Thank you homie
Leo is perfect for that, very hyped he’s on a baseball streak right now
Mr Video called it spot on at 11:58... "why don't they just ask the neighbor to grab the ball for them?" ROFLMAO
😂😂😂😂 because they scared of the neighbors dog own by Mr Myrtle
Then there would be no movie 😂 it’s the major plot
@@megnotmegan1966 Still does not change the fact that Mr. Video called it on the spot early on in the film.
Do people not know what ROFLMAO means anymore? Why are folks picking apart a simple joke? 😂
Instead they trespassed and destroyed his property.
Benny is the best friend anyone ever had. We should all strive to be more like him.
I tried but even though I could play ball I can't run for crap. I strive to be more like Squints. He at least had the balls to risk it for the biscuit with Wendy Peffercorn.
@@blazinjedi2008 I wasn't talking about the baseball skills. Benny is a good person and he elevates the people around him. If it weren't for Benny, this would be a movie about a kid watching a bunch of other kids play baseball from the other side of the fence.
He's not bad, but Jesus is always the ebdt friend anyone could ever have. He was the perfect human and blameless, yet He still died for our sins.
Also have to appreciate how all the kids were on board with helping Scott when they realized how deep of a hole he was in
Just showed this to my stepson who's 13, he just started playing baseball this year, he loved it, they dont make movies like they used to. The nostalgia is everything in this!!!
there's A LOT of wholesome baseball movies for him to check out. This is what we grew up watching and ultimately shaped us into what we have become. With the movies these days I'm a little more than worried about how this generation will turn out ngl
i still say "youre killing me Smalls!" at least once a day.
Who doesn't...it's one of the most quotable movie lines ever brother
"for us, baseball was a game. but for Benjamin Franklin Rodriguez, Baseball was life"
That july 4th scene is so freaking good
Man if there was ever a movie that instantly takes me back to my earliest childhood days.. it's this one.
“he seein it in 4k with them glasses” 😂😂😂
"You keep talking about this big pickle. I need to see it." 😄 🤣 My favorite line of the whole reaction. Always enjoy these and one of my favorite childhood movies.
I laughed thinking the same 😆😁😂
Smalls original hat was an old fisherman's hat. The huge brim was legitimately for the sun.
*"Squints, you might get the drawwwwws!!!"*
- Boy got the whole damn closet 😂😂😂
I loved this movie as a comedy / summer flick back in the day. Now I'm emotional over pure nostalgia, and of course the unconditional friendship that Benny showed Smalls.
This movie has only gotten better as ive gotten older. The line that cracks me up is at the end when hes saying what happened to everyone and says "Berchram got really into the 60s. And nobody saw him ever again." I dont know why but that line cracks me up 😂
My grandfather used to have a hat with a foot long brim. It was yellow and said "Bet mine's bigger than yours"
Such a feel good childhood movie
This is my all time favorite movie. Growing up playing baseball as a kid, this IS the dream. Whole team is your homies and you play ball from sunrise until the parents start yelling your name.
Dude, I can't believe you didn't include the "FOR-EHV-UR" bit! That's one of the funniest parts. To this day, my family and I will sometimes quote it when one of us says the word, even though it's been years since we've watched it. Oh well. At least your peeps on Patreon will get to enjoy it 😅 Great pick for the 4th. This was always one of those beloved summertime movies from my childhood back in the Midwest. It gives me nostalgia. I can almost feel the ward humid night air, smell the fresh-cut lawn and mosquito repellent/citronella coils/candles, see the yellow glow of fireflies as they blink around the yard. Fireworks in the distance over the lake can be seen pesking above the trees and buildings that prevent a complete view of the flashing explosions of glitter and noise. Going to see them was always a hassle because of how many people would show up and cause a traffic jam afterwards. We usually left a little early so we could beat the rush; walking backwards so I could still watch the finale. Sometimes there was ice cream, if the ice cream truck was taking advantage of the crowd, full of parents with children, teenagers with pocket money for Rocket Pops and ice cream sandwiches, inflatable swords to whack playfully at one another, bright neon glow stick necklaces and bracelets. Little Patriotic pinwheels made of plastic on a stick, noisy poppers that explode with a flash and a bang when you throw them on the pavement. Pavement still warm from soaking up the summertime sunshine. Backyard bonfires and family cookouts. S'mores and bratwurst, Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy and Berryweiss. Staying up all night and having fun with friends, going to bed when the sky changes it's cloak from inky indigo to cornflower blue. Thunderstorms.... I really miss them, they're pretty rare in California, where I've been living for the past decade. We do have them on occasion but they're not epic like the ones I grew up with in the mid-West.
Wow, I didn't mean to write a friggin novella haha, glad you enjoyed the movie and Happy belated 4th to you 🎆🇺🇸🎇🇺🇸
A favorite movie of me and my two sons. My oldest said it best. "Hercules just wanted someone to play with, just like Smalls."
Benny will forever be my first and last crush. Yes, I am old lol
U and all my girl cousins 😏🙄😂🤣
This is arguably the goat summertime boys flick. I feel like most guys can relate in someway to the story
Im chilean
We dont play baseball
But this is a beloved movie because it speaks the universal language of childhood, growing up, friendship and Coming of age.
Great pick my man 🤘
The Sandlot is a childhood classic for an entire generation of millennials, even if you're not that into baseball. Gen Xers love this movie too. Great reaction Leo! 👍🏿
For. Ev. Errrrrrr!
gen x´er here, im 50 yrs old, never was into baseball since I live in denmark, but this movie is so fun since its portrayed by kids playing kids!
Kids these days, try to get em to sit down and watch the classics. Nose in the phone worse than ME lol
@@nicholasholloway8743 my nephews and nieces fights over the phone charger when ever they are visiting my mothers place!they cant look up for more than 5 seconds!
Gen X is not millennials 🤦
Another good kid Baseball flick that would have you crackin up is "Bad news Bears"-1976
All of them, one after another for continuity

Best sports/kids movie ever made. Exactly the time I was starting Little League, too.
The Sandlot. One of many great movies.
Younger Benny and older Benny were played by real-life brothers, Mike and Pablo Vitar. Pablo used to be my landlord.
“You keep talking about this big pickle, I need to see it”
Whoa Mr. Video chill😂
So excited to watch this reaction! This is one of my childhood favorites...never gets old! A League Of Their Own is equally as good in its own right!
To this day, ill still watch this movie 2 or 3 times a year just cause.
Daaaaaaamn this one is FIIIIIRE - real nostalgic for a lot of us, as kids lots of us watched this
Why are you the most relatable human ever? In out neighborhood it is the EDGES. Our neighbors have edges on their lawns that are ruler straight and then out house it goes to a weird waggle. It is slowly driving my husband to insanity. I got him an edger, but he can't figure out how to use it.
A classic! Lotta good kid baseball movies in the 90s--Rookie of the Year, Little Big League, Angels in the Outfield, and The Sandlot.
I forgot about Angels in the Outfield.
Ya honestly I think this is easily the worst one. Seeing it now I don’t remember it or never really seen it says something. It’s ok. The smalls line is what people quote but those other movies are true greats. Better casts and stories.
@@blazinjedi2008 Everybody should forget about that movie. It was awful. Not even close to the other films you mentioned.
@@GlennShook Angels in the Outfield was awful. It is the worst of all those. The Sandlot is incredible. Only Rookie of the Year challenges it.
Maaan I hope he watches rookie of the year and Angels in the outfield soon
You didn't have a childhood if you never had to yell: car!
One of the greatest films ever made.
😂 the hat brim always gets me
I wore that vhs tape out when I was a kid. What a time to be alive
after all they had been through . . . to FINALLY get inside the house and confront the dude . . . "Your dead were you stand!" - even he tells smalls this the moment he finds out - they all do - and thats the joke! ;) At 36 this is one of those movies I and many here truly grew up with/saw this at that perfect age as a kid . . .VHS...TV...doesnt matter it lives almost rent free in my head all the time. I mean come on who DOESNT use the killing me smalls line?!
Iconic film!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this movie! It's on my list of summer flicks to watch every year. I'm so happy you reacted to it!
My Internet on my phone FINALLY started working again after this hurricane that passed through Houston. The power is still out, maybe for another day or so but this is the FIRST thing I did once I got my net back 😄 YOU'RE KILLING ME SMALLS!!!
Glad you made it!
@@honorsilverthorne7227 Appreciate ya, still a good 1.5 million people without power here, but thankfully we were among the first wave of that got power back after about a day and a half. Just another typical 110 degree hurricane week lol.
This movie is FOR EV ER
That’s Riiiiiight I love this classic film
FORRRRR EVVVV ERRRRRR

1 random vivid memory I have with my old boy thanks to this film 😎
😂😂😂
All of those 'child actors' had seen Star Wars the year that this film was made. They were in awe of the fact that James Earl Jones was Luke Skywalker's dad.
"You keep talking about this big pickle, i need to see it" 😂😉
Thanks for reacting to this movie. It's high on my list of favorite movies... top 15-20.
The Denis Leary song was, "I'm an A-s-s-h-o-l-e."
"I use public toilets and piss on the seat...I walk around in summer time saying 'How about this HEAT!?"
@@2.Plus.2.Equals.5 Sometimes I park in handicapped spaces, while handicapped people, make handicapped faces!
We used to call each other L-7 weenies all the time at work 😂
Hank is the one who broke Babe HR record and I believe one of the first people who came from the African American League so it was a big up to Hank nice touch from the filmmakers
Hank as you call him was the last major league player to come from the negro league
Absolute banger. Showed this movie to my kids and they love it as well. Onto 3 generations experiencing this movie!
Hell yeah! This is in my top 5 of coming of age films. It is such a great movie. Thanks for reacting too it.
I remember I was 10 when this came out. This, Rookie of the Year and Little Big League all came out a year or so apart. And Little Giants with Ed O'Neil
Squints the kid with the glasses who faked drowning looks so much like Steve-o from Jackass. Great movie!
Ever see that Video with Eminem and Logic? That's Squints who plays Logic
Right???
Right!
He also looks scarily like my dad when he was that age.
I thought that Wendy was Heather Graham for years.
I was in middle school when this movie came out and we all had a huge crush on Benny
THE greatest 4th of July/summer movie ever!
Lol, I got a work lanyard for my sister that says "You're killing me Smalls!" and has a little picture of Ham on it. Also, His original hat with the extra long brim was a fishing hat, but not meant for baseball.
"FOR-EV-ERRRRRRR"
"This kid is an L7 weenie!"
"You're killing me smalls!"
"The Colossus of Clout! The Great Bambino!"
These lines still live in my head as an adult.
This may sound odd but ive been watching you a long time and recently ive been saving your videos for when my wife is out of town. Nothing off color, let me explain. You remind me of my best friend, from grade school until my mid 20s, we were practically joined at the hip, we were like brothers. One of our favorite things to do was smoke and watch movies. You look so much like him and your personality is practically spot on so much so yall could be related lol. When i was 24 (15 years ago) he passed away in a car wreck. My wife has since filled that void but when she is out of town house/dog sitting for her mother i get a bit lonely. Thats when i put on your videos, light one up, and, for a while at least, its like i have my best friend back. So thank you and please keep doing what you do. You are appreciated.
The life guard scene is always a core memory for me 😂
dude, im proud of you.. you saw and recognized Dennis Leary....
It’s not officially summer until you watch “The Sandlot”
Easily one of my favorite childhood movies. Still fun today. This one holds a lot of nostalgia for me.
The America I grew up in and grew to love.
One of my favorites ever! Such a classic. "You're killing me smalls!" My kids & I say it all the time, even have the t-shirt. 😂❤❤
😂 Still watch this movie once or twice a year. It is great ❤
Ya I try to watch at least once a year, they don't make em like they used to
Nostalgia is all this is. So good. Takes me back
Squints was ready to risk it all
“Time to see that big pickle, i been waiting to see it” -pause😂
One of the greatest movies ever! Classic! Me and kids are always saying “you’re killing me smalls!”
AMAZING love this!! They have a reunion of the sandlot characters during covid and its so nostalgic...
The baseball card he grabbed was Hank Aaron, a fellow legend.
WOW I literally just watched this movie 2 days on a whim. I just felt like watching a movie about kids in the summertime just having fun in different decade. Talk about perfect timing.
went to bed need to go back to work in 4 hours. saw the thumbnail and my mood changed , will watch this before sleep now. not only staying for the reaction but also for the fun moment and joy this guy always brings. always feel like we friends
This movie has the best Put Down/Diss EVER!!!
Hey Mr.Video! I loved this reaction. SANDLOT is one of my favorite kid's sports movies. My brother played baseball for quite a while, but didn't make the high school baseball team. He did wrestling & cross-country instead. But, when he was in Little League, our dad was his coach. During practice, I was the one hitting the baseballs to the boys & having the pitchers practice trying to strike me out. I've been hit by a few wild pitches. Ouch!
- U know how the dog's owner was blinded by a fastball. Back in 1994 while I was doing volunteer work @ a convalescent home, I met a French Canadian man who had played professional baseball for a Canadian team back in the 1930s. He stopped playing baseball because he was hit by a fastball on the side of his face. It fractured his cheek bone, jaw & knocked out some of his teeth. He told me that was the end of this career. They didn't wear batter's helmets back then.
Got this movie on VHS and DVD it’s one of my favorite movies of all time
You should watch the MIGHTY DUCKS next!
Spaz 😂
Quack, quack, quack, quack
A classic everyone should watch at least once. Thanks for reacting.
Nice to see you react to this one man, was one of the one's who suggested it. Glad you thought it was a fun movie, and gave you a nostalgic vibe. Not a baseball movie, but another sports movie (hockey/comedy) you should definitely check out is Goon (2011) I think you'd really like it.
"you're killing me, Smalls!" is such an iconic line. I still say that line regularly in my actual life. this movie is one of my favorites from childhood and gives me so much nostalgia. thanks for the video, Leo! 😃
