    I think it is obvious that Putin is a great politician and manipulator.
    If he had stayed in the political arena, he would have ruled until a ripe old age, and then died peacefully.
    Too bad for him, that he started a war.
    He did not know how bad Russia's army had become through his kleptocratic rule.
    Worse, he delusionally thinks he is a military genius, and has made disastrous decisions.
    Not understanding the need for training is absurdly incompetent.
    Anyone managing people knows the need for training.
    Sales people need sales training.
    Janitors need training.
    Truck drivers need training.
    Almost anything that people do, they need to be trained.
    Sending conscripts to battle without training is incomprehensively STUPID.
    How could Putin be THAT stupid???
    I think we can all start the office pool on when we think Putin's rule will end.
    My bet is 6/9/2022.

    It did not start as Islamic revolution. The democrats had 80% in the first and 2nd election in Chechnya. Tho a good part of the army was more salafist. That’s the part that Russia always show as the terrorist.

    • @bastian182
      @bastian182 Год назад +7

      Yeah thats the sad part often when a country doesn't have a strong enough military, they have to relay on militias, which are often radicals, that use there popularity to take over the country, that happened in afghanistan and something similar almost happened in Weimar Germany with the Freikorps.

    • @schaihmansur8298
      @schaihmansur8298 Год назад +5

      @@bastian182 They didnt take over the country. They got some positions as governers. They were elected to that positions by parts of the population Maskhadov and Dudaev were both democrats. So it was not something like Afghanistan. But more like Hindenburg in Weimar, as a war hero.
      Schamil Basaev and Zelimhan Yanderbiev were Islamists. And Maskhadov democrat. Maskhadow won the elections by far. Some districts in chechnya elected islamists into the public offices. The army was shrunk to 2000 men after the war.(it couldnt afford to pay the army at 12k) The problem for the Chechen government was more of a funding problem. After the war, all taxes were decreased and income taxes halted. Russia signed to pay 160 bio$ (but never did) as war reperations. The FSB payed thugs and drug dealers to cause as much reputation damage as they could.
      The Wahabist movement gave the rest to the Ichkerian reputations with their stupid dump idiocy.
      There were several other mistakes, which back then didnt seem liek one.- The Saudi, Germany all made their deals with Putin because these idiots fell for this kind of traps.

Since by definition, a government is an organized group controlling the legislature, executive, and judiciary functions of a state, and the Taliban does just that.), the USA still lost, and whether the Taliban is an insurgency or not doesn't change this fact.
      I also wouldn't use the term "just lost", as despite the method of achieving victory or how legitimate you would consider the victory, the Vietcong and their allies did secure victory by holding until US popular support significantly declined.
