I just made this recipe this evening! I used Kerrygold- Garlic & Herb butter, fresh rosemary, garlic cloves and seasoning on hand. I prepared it in a cast iron skillet as well. I used approximately 3 tablespoons of brown sugar. It was a hit! Very delicious and tender!!! Will be making it again. I wish I could attach a photo❤❤❤

Not only is your recipe a knockout, but so are you!. Had this in Normandy, and fell for it! I did not add the cinnamon, but wanted to see how close to what I had there this was...pretty close. Thanks so much for this, it's tonight's dinner. You do have to cook the apples...they don't yield their true flavor until this is done...JMKeller

Its an old recipe back when apples were less sweet and tasted more like potatoes. Try this with green apple and purple carrots. Taste more like how the native americans ate it. Add raddish. It should have some crunch but just a little. Pair with a nice pinot grigio or a shot of corn liquor.
      Child, please.

Great question, Jimmy! Massaging the meat helps distribute and push the seasoning into the meat.

Not raw for sure. It was cooked to the perfect internal temperature

That was far from rare… actually it was over cooked IMO…
Pork chops should be just a shade pink for optimum tenderness, juiciness and flavor

Might want to check the level of your stove, that oil was not ok. If you ever take your cookware and toss it into water while hot it can warp, anyway your spread of oil triggers.

There is no medium well when it comes to pork. Pork needs to be cooked thoroughly.

The hazard of whatever it is has been bred out of DOMESTIC pork, at least in most Western nations. If you're a boar hunter, chowing down on your trophy, it's a different story.
