We really wanted to make this video for a long time, but wanted to make sure our content is representative and accurate. We hope that this video has been what you guys are looking for.

I came out as pansexual a year ago and since I feel so much more confident about my sexuality. Before, I concentrated on genders too much, put myself under the pressure of knowing to who I’m attracted to, but I just realised that I don’t care about the gender at all, only about the person itself and I’ve never been happier. I’m in a relationship now and it’s the best thing that has happened to me this year.

3 years ago I found this video, after hearing the definition of demisexuality I realized how well the label resonated with me. This was my first exposure to many different sexualities and kickstarted my journey of coming out as a demisexual lesbian which I'm so grateful for, it genuinely made such a positive impact on my life

The term gay is usually used for the male gender, but it can also be used for females.

It's nice that we now have terms that don't implicitly exclude non-binary people. I wasn't aware of those.
I also like disentangling sexual orientation from your sexual identity. Particularly a term like heterosexual is kinda silly because it doesn't tell you anything about that person's sexuality unless you also know their gender.
I'm straight but a demiromantic. I basically am like aromantic, but I have to have a deep emotional bond before I can be romantically attravted to anyone. Its a very little known label, and as someone using uncommon gender and sexuality because they are both so complex for me, it can be lonely since I can't find anybody else like me. I miss when I identified as a girl and could relate to others, but I can't anymore, and that's why it's so annoying when people are saying I just want to be a special snowflake.
I rarely fall in love but I did once but it was with a person I barely knew. So I'm not sure if you can call it love, more like I was interested in them. So what does that make me?

A better way to understand asexuality:
Asexuality means the person has little to no *sexual desires* regardless of gender.
Ace people can still show and feel emotional connections. They still *can* be in a romantic relationship and have "fun" with their partner without having the desire to crave "fun".
A comparison/analogy: Your best friend loves roller coasters (meanwhile you're meh about it), so you go on a roller coaster with them because you love spending time with them. It doesn't mean you have a great desire to ride roller coasters.
