Naw, I'm in the same boat. Aside from the last one, which is a constant in my life, I've got the exact opposite from all of these majority of the time.
I felt I was quite attractive. But now I realize that people quite try to ignore me. They discard me, and try to act as I am not present. I am not invited anywhere and no one *ever* talks about me. WOW. But I still feel I am quite attractive and thus, get self doubt and now I feel, I am a narcissist or an egoist.

People come to me when they are feeling down or want to vent. 5. People usually want to end the project with me faster and they don't always do their best. 6. Everyone has at least something to say about my appearance even my best friend. and no they aren't nice comments.

Beauty is much deeper than looks. Even though I'm sure you are more attractive than you give yourself credit for, the right people love a great personality before looks. Being attractive is a bonus, keep your head up. I believe in you 😄

Attractiveness is very subjective. Believe it or not, there are people out there who will find you attractive. But if you give up and resort to self-pity you might never meet those people
Another point : CONFIDENCE. The more confident you are , the more attraction you get. The first thing people pay attention sadly is appearance. If you're dressed up like a hermit, don't be surprised people don't find you attractive. Just remember , appearance changes. Before i neglected myself pretty bad , got obese even , now since i'm taking care of myself , my appearance ,my confidence , being more positive , i shine. Oh believe me i'm an introvert , i know the feeling of being overshadowed by louder people. And you don't NEED to be the center of attention to be confident and attractive. Just take care of yourself and you will see how your life can quickly turn around for the better. Just believe in yourself.
Confidence is directly linked to attractiveness. The more attractive you are, the more people will talk to you, the better you'll be a social skills and the more confident you'll become. On the other hand if you're not attractive and people rarely talk to you, you'll never develop good social skills and every time you'll try you'll be too far behind the rest which along with your physical flaws means you'll be rejected. If you're good looking, you'll always become confident without even meaning to. If you're not good looking, trying to be confident will just appear as weird and creepy because of your lack of experience and physique making others weary.

Nah, it does happen to people who has a glow up. I used to be very unattractive pre-glow up (literally the ugly end of the stick) and had a MASSIVE glow up after weight loss, makeup and styling. I still have my past habits and low self esteem and have to watch and research on videos like this one to unbrainwash myself that I’m no longer ugly or unattractive. Though the past experiences are so bad that sometimes I still doubt it even if the things mentioned in this video happen to me.

The average person will look at you and subconsciously take notice of any flaw you might be insecure about. If you're otherwise confident, people won't pay as much attention to it and focus on something else instead during your conversations. Seeing someone with strong and confident body language often gets you to see them with less flaws, because they don't think there's something wrong with anything about themselves, because they feel fine just how they are. Now, I'm not saying it literally changes your physical structure or anything, but even acting confident or changing your posture may make it look like that's the case. I'm also not saying that guys or girls will find a confident person more like their type and like them more, that is up to personal taste. I'm talking about how acting more confident can make you appear more attractive in general.

It’s all subjective to the opposing person 😊 different features about you are going to attract people for different reasons. It could be your looks, personality or even energy that you give off. But in the sense of the word “attractive”, it literally just means you have some pull on people for a reason that is relevant to them 😊 if that makes sense.

Nope, nope and nope. I know I am the "ugly friend" lol. Just recently my attractive friend and I where on a small festival. I walked her to the restrooms because she didn't know where they where jet. Two guys who where standing nearby broke up their conversation to talk to my friend. We 4 talked a moment throwing suggestive jokes at each other, and it was clear one of the guys was flirting with my friend pretty heavily. The second she went to the toilet and I was alone with the guys they turned to each other and continued their conversation, just like I didn't exist XD. It's always like this around her, at least with random people. Friends who know me a while admire me on another level. They often ask me for advice because apparently "I know it all/am talented with that stuff" etc. They know I will listen to their worries and help wherever I can. I am that "motherly" kind of friend. But sure as heck Noone finds me attractive lol.

WOAH! I've experienced most of these and I always thought there's something wrong with me. Even when I'm told point blank by people - family, family friends and strangers that I'm beautiful I know that mentally but I don't FEEL IT in my soul. I have low self-esteem and can be self-conscious when people stare at me. If Psych2Go could make a video on how to build your sense of self - self-love, self-esteem, self-confidence, it would help.
Honestly, I think I'm somewhat attractive but I've never been the attractive person yet I can relate to some of these like being stared at, people paying attention to me, tearing me down unprovoked and people are comfortable around me, I also get asked for advice on certain things but not beauty, dating, or style tips. I think it is just my neurodivergence and the fact that I tend not to judge people the same way most others do so they are comfortable with me, and that comes from having been bullied my entire childhood, I stick out like a sore thumb so people stare and pay attention to me because I am the odd one out, and they ask for my advice because I am a walking encyclopedia of random info that I willingly talk about to find a way to socialize, and I know a good bit about computers. But I don't think any of that has to do with my level of attractiveness.

The fact that they're paying attention to you might also just mean they're kind people or really good friends. Good listeners. And the staring part can be seen two ways. They could also stare at you because of your clothing or your height. Maybe the way you did your hair or your hair color. Also, other people trying to bring you down might just be because they're bad people. Nevertheless, being attractive might come in two different forms. If you're generally a happy and kind person who usually would do kind deeds for others simply because you want to, you might be attractive in a different way that's not physical. The important part about that would be how you feel about yourself. Because come push to shove, you're only really as attractive as you feel you are. Beauty and attractiveness comes from within yourself.

Being an attractive woman can also work against you and is not necessarily always a good thing. For example, most of my now ex female friends have been superficial and as recently as in the last few months, I’ve found out one of my closest friend had been talking bad about me behind my back, which I was very hurt by. I still wonder to this day where I’ve gone wrong with these people when I’ve only been good to them but know deep down they never really cared about me. Also, the men I meet fall in ‘love’ after only a few dates which I know can’t be true as they haven’t gotten to know me well enough. However, when they see that I’m quite a deep person with strong morals and values, they decide it’s too much effort and go their way. People are attracted to attractive people but mostly on a superficial level as when they get to see that person is human and with faults like everyone else, they are quick to leave. Only the few genuine ones remain.

Maybe its because you just look bad in photos or videos? I look ugly on photos like 8 times out of 10 but i look like a different person in the mirror and relate to most of the things in the video. We may have some small problems like a jawline not fully formed or a face wider than normal but most people either dont care about them or your other good sides outshine your imperfections

To all the self-deprecating jokers on here, STOP BELITTLING YOURSELF! I get it's a joke, but we all know it's a coping mechanism to cover up low self-esteem. Just wanted to encourage you and say that regardless of how you look, you ARE AMAZING! Stop talking negatively about yourself! I used to really struggle with feeling attractive. As a dude, I didn't get a whole lot of compliments. I knew girls had liked me in the past, but because my love life was (and still is) stagnant, it made me think I was undesirable. Then, this past week, several people told me of people who at one point had a crush on me and it really boosted my self-esteem. Plus I've been losing weight, portioning my food and exercising more, so I have felt better in that regard as well. It’s so true when it says people try to tear you down. There was this one girl in my old school who tried so hard to be perfect. She objectified herself so much and never went to school without a full face of makeup and hair products on. She used so much foundation and hair curlers to try and get really clear skin and wavy hair. But about halfway through year 10 I started taking very good care of my skin, and so it turned pretty much perfect. And I have naturally wavy hair too so this is basically what she was trying to get every day. One day she noticed, and after literally 3 years of being nice to me and leaving me alone, she suddenly joked at the back of the class about me for literally no reason and said the most horrible things. But when I asked why she’s talking about me she literally looked so in trouble, it was hilarious 😂.

Attractiveness is very subjective. Believe it or not, there are people out there who will find you attractive. But if you give up and resort to self-pity you might never meet those people
Turns out how attractive I am depends fully on how outgoing I am. The more I show my personality, the more attractive I seem!
Another point : CONFIDENCE. The more confident you are , the more attraction you get. The first thing people pay attention sadly is appearance. If you're dressed up like a hermit, don't be surprised people don't find you attractive. Just remember , appearance changes. Before i neglected myself pretty bad , got obese even , now since i'm taking care of myself , my appearance ,my confidence , being more positive , i shine. Confidence is directly linked to attractiveness. The more attractive you are, the more people will talk to you, the better you'll be a social skills and the more confident you'll become.
On the other hand if you're not attractive and people rarely talk to you, you'll never develop good social skills and every time you'll try you'll be too far behind the rest which along with your physical flaws means you'll be rejected.
If you're good looking, you'll always become confident without even meaning to. If you're not good looking, trying to be confident will just appear as weird and creepy because of your lack of experience and physique making others weary.

Nah, it does happen to people who has a glow up. I used to be very unattractive pre-glow up (literally the ugly end of the stick) and had a MASSIVE glow up after weight loss, makeup and styling. I still have my past habits and low self esteem and have to watch and research on videos like this one to unbrainwash myself that I’m no longer ugly or unattractive. Though the past experiences are so bad that sometimes I still doubt it even if the things mentioned in this video happen to me.

If you feel like you're flawed and that it shows, you'll most likely transmit that feeling to others as well through your gestures and body language. The average person will look at you and subconsciously take notice of any flaw you might be insecure about.
If you're otherwise confident, people won't pay as much attention to it and focus on something else instead during your conversations. Seeing someone with strong and confident body language often gets you to see them with less flaws, because they don't think there's something wrong with anything about themselves, because they feel fine just how they are.
Now, I'm not saying it literally changes your physical structure or anything, but even acting confident or changing your posture may make it look like that's the case.
I'm also not saying that guys or girls will find a confident person more like their type and like them more, that is up to personal taste. I'm talking about how acting more confident can make you appear more attractive in general.

It’s all subjective to the opposing person 😊 different features about you are going to attract people for different reasons. It could be your looks, personality or even energy that you give off. But in the sense of the word “attractive”, it literally just means you have some pull on people for a reason that is relevant to them 😊 if that makes sense.

I believe it’s the latter.
Actually now that I look at it I think it’s both. Some are things that occur for physically attractive people. If you’ve ever heard of the halo affect that’s what some of the answers remind me of. Then some of the other answers seem to also go with personality and character so I’d say both.
As an introvert who doesn't get any of this I see this as an absolute win.

Nope, nope and nope. I know I am the "ugly friend" lol. Just recently my attractive friend and I where on a small festival. I walked her to the restrooms because she didn't know where they where jet. Two guys who where standing nearby broke up their conversation to talk to my friend. We 4 talked a moment throwing suggestive jokes at each other, and it was clear one of the guys was flirting with my friend pretty heavily. The second she went to the toilet and I was alone with the guys they turned to each other and continued their conversation, just like I didn't exist XD.
It's always like this around her, at least with random people. Friends who know me a while admire me on another level. They often ask me for advice because apparently "I know it all/am talented with that stuff" etc. They know I will listen to their worries and help wherever I can. I am that "motherly" kind of friend. But sure as heck Noone finds me attractive lol.

1. No one except my parents pay attention to me. My friends always leave me alone.
2. There are some occasions where people stare at me but i don't think it's because of attractiveness.
3. I'm always left alone and no one wants to stay around me.
4. People only come and meet me for educational advices and only when they are in deep trouble.
5. I'm usually left alone, so i dont think people are comfortable around me.
6. I'm usually the one who go and help strangers in emergencies, but there are less to no interactions with strangers.
7. I dont think I've got any enemies, but maybe some people do talk behind my back.

WOAH! I've experienced most of these and I always thought there's something wrong with me. Even when I'm told point blank by people - family, family friends and strangers that I'm beautiful I know that mentally but I don't FEEL IT in my soul. Honestly, I think I'm somewhat attractive but I've never been the attractive person yet I can relate to some of these like being stared at, people paying attention to me, tearing me down unprovoked and people are comfortable around me, I also get asked for advice on certain things but not beauty, dating, or style tips. I think it is just my neurodivergence and the fact that I tend not to judge people the same way most others do so they are comfortable with me, and that comes from having been bullied my entire childhood, I stick out like a sore thumb so people stare and pay attention to me because I am the odd one out, and they ask for my advice because I am a walking encyclopedia of random info that I willingly talk about to find a way to socialize, and I know a good bit about computers. But I don't think any of that has to do with my level of attractiveness.

The fact that they're paying attention to you might also just mean they're kind people or really good friends. Good listeners.
And the staring part can be seen two ways.
They could also stare at you because of your clothing or your height.
Maybe the way you did your hair or your hair color.
Also, other people trying to bring you down might just be because they're bad people.
Nevertheless, being attractive might come in two different forms. If you're generally a happy and kind person who usually would do kind deeds for others simply because you want to, you might be attractive in a different way that's not physical.
The important part about that would be how you feel about yourself. Because come push to shove, you're only really as attractive as you feel you are. Beauty and attractiveness comes from within yourself.

For example, most of my now ex female friends have been superficial and as recently as in the last few months, I’ve found out one of my closest friend had been talking bad about me behind my back, which I was very hurt by.

People are attracted to attractive people but mostly on a superficial level as when they get to see that person is human and with faults like everyone else, they are quick to leave. Only the few genuine ones remain.

Maybe its because you just look bad in photos or videos? I look ugly on photos like 8 times out of 10 but i look like a different person in the mirror and relate to most of the things in the video. We may have some small problems like a jawline not fully formed or a face wider than normal but most people either dont care about them or your other good sides outshine your imperfections

I used to really struggle with feeling attractive. As a dude, I didn't get a whole lot of compliments. I knew girls had liked me in the past, but because my love life was (and still is) stagnant, it made me think I was undesirable. Then, this past week, several people told me of people who at one point had a crush on me and it really boosted my self-esteem. Plus I've been losing weight, portioning my food and exercising more, so I have felt better in that regard as well.
Just wanted to tell you guys that often times, we don't pick up on other people's perception of us. And not everyone flirts the same way. So there is a good chance then at least one person likes you.

It’s so true when it says people try to tear you down. There was this one girl in my old school who tried so hard to be perfect. She objectified herself so much and never went to school without a full face of makeup and hair products on. She used so much foundation and hair curlers to try and get really clear skin and wavy hair.
But about halfway through year 10 I started taking very good care of my skin, and so it turned pretty much perfect. And I have naturally wavy hair too so this is basically what she was trying to get every day.
One day she noticed, and after literally 3 years of being nice to me and leaving me alone, she suddenly joked at the back of the class about me for literally no reason and said the most horrible things. But when I asked why she’s talking about me she literally looked so in trouble, it was hilarious 😂.
Ive learned recently that attraction is rly complex... I also base a lot of what others think of me based on my mood/self-esteem. Ive noticed however, if my mood is good then people are usally very nice to me.
