Mcarbo website for Kel-Tec upgrades:

Mine has no problem with steel cased ammo. I have the Glock version, because it was what my gun store had. I paid $378 for mine about a year ago. Thousands of rounds through it, excellent reliability. I keep it propped up against my nightstand next to my bed at night. I have many other choices I could put there, but I trust this firearm with my life, and my family's safety as well. 9mm hollow points don't have nearly the over penetration danger that my other weapons do.
Glad you had good success with it! I love this gun.
What I love about my Kel tech in 9 mm is my wife and I both run glock 17 and 45 respectively, and it’s convenient that all magazines are interchangeable. Very great for hiking etc when it’s not practical to carry round the AR but you still want that rifle accuracy and magazine capacity
This is exactly why i bought this gun. Goes well with my M&P 9 since the mags are interchangeable.
NC Gunguy89 I just honestly was hoping they would make more accessories for it. Like different style muzzles etc . But still very happy with it.
@@ginoest1649 check the description link. Mcarbo has some awesome upgrades
Have mine in a Hazard 4, Greyman, Plan B sling bag. Totally inconspicuous and compact but also room for my G-35 in a pancake holster along with many mags. My .40 S2K is a very, very dependable weapon which due to the longer barrel, delivers the same relative ballistics as a 10mm hand gun.
Thanks for your review, I can't wait to shoot mine 👍
Hey man I plan on picking This up end of the week I got a place I found one for $456 can't wait! I'll be back to give my opinion.
I've had mine for a couple months now, and its sooo accurate iron sight. I was having no problems hitting targets 60 yards with the iron sights.. it eats any ammo for sure! Little struggle to snap that pin back in the stock area. takes a little practice
Totally agree. I upgraded the rear sight to the MCARBO peep and it is dead on, comfortably. A carbon fiber front sight would be perfect. 3:54
Great info! I just bought one. Unfortunately, I live in commifornia. We don't have our true 2nd amendment rights. We have to pay for a test. We have to pay for a background check. We have to pay a firearms dealer tax. We can't have more than a 10 rd mag. We have a 10 day waiting period. There are many more 🙄 Anyways, I wasn't sure about my purchase either. Now that I saw your video, I'm excited about it again. Thanks NC 👊
Unfortunately, with Biden in office it may end up we all are like commiefornia
I'm looking to get on also in have you found a modification for the fin grip I'm also in California
@@shaunbailey6700 Go to mcarbo.com, you can get a Commiefornia compliant one there with all the upgrades you'd be doing anyway.
I live in Canada and all we need is a 10 round magazine for this thing and of course a firearms license. That California fin That destroys the ergonomics and way you even hold that gun is absolutely atrocious and I'm so sorry for you guys down there.😔
I bought the MCARBO Glock 19 version about three years ago for $750. Couldn't be happier with all the upgrades and the fact that I didn't have to do them myself at a higher cost. I love that it shares ammo and mags with my Glock. I also have the Keltec RDB and love that it shares ammo and mags with my Colt AR-15. Keltec often gets a bad rap, but I've never had issues with either of mine.
You've grown a beard since this video and the little rifle yanks the hairs out taking the fun out of firing the gun. You need the MCARBO bolt tube cover. It will eliminate this issue. However, you would probably have to extend your buttstock to make it fit correctly.
Love mine. I completely swapped the internal guts with the Mcarbo package they sell. With brass it has never jammed; not once. WARNING: if you use aluminum cased ammo, it will jam EVERY SHOT. DO NOT use aluminum cased ammo. Keltec also warns you of this in the manual for this firearm. I reload so I only use brass anyway. With brass, this firearm is flawless thus far.
Yeah it jams with steel cased as well
@@NCGunguy89 That's cool you got your own outdoor range. I'm jealous.
A little tip.... If a gun is very accurate, then it usually has tight tolerances. Tight tolerance guns tend to have more issues with aluminum and steel cased ammo. Not always the case, but more often than not.
Great vid brother! I'm just picking at you a little. But really, great vid. I almost kinda want one of these. It seems extremely accurate.
Hahah i just read these comments thanks for the support brother!
I’ve had one for two years and I really like it I shoot my G-17 and then I run a few mags in my Keltec sub2k and I feel once you get used to laying your head at an angle it’s very accurate
Great content! Thank you.
I really like the kel tec sub 2000
To be able to have such compact rifle to throw in the same bag with my laptop was a no brainer decision for me. My bag has a padded barrier between the rifle and my laptop and never had any issue with the rifle damaging the laptop when carrying around my backpack.
Still one of my favorite guns. I dont know why it gets so much hate. I love all my guns but my sub2000 has a special place in my heart.. 😂
Nice little carbine very hard to find one. Good review.
Thanks!
just go for the M series from M Carbo and you can get it at the standard price rather than at an upcharge. it is up to almost $700 on most auction sights for the stock model so getting the M series complete for $800 including shipping is a great deal imo. the upgrades are worth the money even if you get the stock one at MSRP.
Tel teck cual es su precio
I have the multi mag that came with smith and wesson m&p 9 mag. I think im gonna just get a 32 rd mag or two an mcarbo mount and cheek pad rest and metal feed ramp and the charging handle, foregrip and some kind of decent budget optic and call it a back pack gun.
good review. I agree! Where about in N.C are you? I live near Mooresville and Salisbury!
i love this gun. I carry it in a laptop bag with room for 10 33round glock mags!
10?!
@@teacopem 10-15 depending on my mood LOL
I carry mine in a laptop bag too.
I've heard the 33 round glock mags can be less reliable as the 24 round mags. Have you experienced this?
Took advantage of a sale (Battlehawk) and $100 rebate (received and deposited) for $250 total. Put a MT stock pad and MCARBO charging handle / tool less recoil spring and buffer. Will eventually add a MWI red dot mount so I can fold it. Works great.
Just found your channel off of Risky Chrisky shit bro just subbed to it I have two sub-2000s that take the Glock mags but the only complaint I got is having a long beard the bolt catches my beard all the time only complain I got for him other than that they're awesome little guns...
I I feel ya. Since I made that video I've grown a beard and it don't like the keltec lol
It looks pretty cool I was able to try one out I just couldn't get over all the plastic it wasn't good quality in my opinion. I couldn't justify the price. The 1st generation models had issues where the grip would break along with the hand guard
i wonder if the mcarbo edition is worth the 500.00 more
Hm. This seems like a fine weapon, however, i believe the FMG9 is a bit smaller, and a little more potent. Especially at short range. Maybe not so much at longer ranges, but then again, most people probably won't try to snipe you with a 9x19. Maybe a 9x39, but not a 9x19.
Yes technically it is a form of plastic. It is polymer though,a high grade plastic. Like glocks wear.
Isn't polymer just a fancy way to say "plastic."
are they ever going to make in .45 acp ????? just wondering
I wish. I heard a while back they had hinted at it. It would be an insta buy for me.
@@NCGunguy89 me too in a heart beat
Does this bullet propulsion apparatus shoot while folded?
No. Not while folded.
No it’s impossible
I'm in love with a stripper, not a cheap carbide.
Dude where else would they put the charging handle? Lmao...it's in the perfect spot
Do you know the muzzle thread on the 9mm?
Manual says for the 9mm its 1/2"-28
@@NCGunguy89 Thank You! I looked on the Kel Tec website and that spec was missing. Nice job on the video!
@@davemiller6155 thanks!
@@davemiller6155 It's on the website, you need to download the manual.

Looks like you are using your sub2000 with the "stock" butt stock from Kel-Tec ? Do yourself a favor and check out Missouri Tactical Products, they make a custom rubber butt stock that slips over the "stock" one and it makes a WORLD of difference. I bought an after market one from MCarbo and didn't like it as it was screwed into the stock butt stock and hindered spring removal with field stripping. This one doesn't hinder it at all. That being said, MCarbo does offer tons of aftermarket parts for the Sub2000 and every part is of the highest quality. I replaced every part that MCarbo makes for the sub2000, it wasn't cheap but it took an average rifle and made it exceptional and it shoots like a dream. Check them out you will be happy you did.
Ill definitely check them out! Thanks for the heads up!
I’ve had my Mcarbo butt stock for months now and have had zero problems field stripping mine. Once you get the buffer tube cap in you never have to take it out again it just stays in the butt stock when you field strip it
Added a MT pad and been very pleased with it.
Hm, a new vid......
Those are selling for 600-700 most places. I bought mine from grabagun 2 years ago for 379. Every firearm I own, I bought from grabagun. You won't find better pricing or customer service anywhere. I live near a storefront for grabagun, so I always order online and pick up the next day. If you haven't heard of grabagun or bought from them, you should seriously make them your first stop when purchasing a firearm.
Yup got mine from grabagun. One of the best online places!
@@NCGunguy89 this pandemic and general unrest I'm our country has caused the price of firearms to skyrocket. Budget ar15s are now 800 bucks. It's insane man.
@@jerroddooley374 yeah ive seen the S&W M&P sport II for 700 on primary arms the other day.
@@NCGunguy89 yea, before the pandemic, that was 499
@@usauditresponse that's the story for firearms across the board man. Post pandemic and rioting prices are ridiculous. I bought a ruger ar556 pistol in December for 649, that same ar pistol is now 900 plus. These prices are going to continue for a while. I won't be buying any new guns until all this madness dies down. I may do some trading but not buying
The Glock mag is better than the pro.
yikes I paid $550
Dont feel too bad. That 150 uptick in cost has been about the same for everything new recently
Damn I fussed for paying $399
Yeah, a year ago that was normal price. You still got a great gun. I just got one for $350 after rebate. Prices are great as of now for the gun market.
Just bought one psa for $379 plus I get a $100 rebate. So about $300 all in after rebate. Couldn't pass on that.
Argh! Stupid ear protection!....
The Mcarbo Version shoots and handles 5 times better. The regular keltech sub 2000 your are previewing does not have metal parts internally. Even the feed ramp is plastic. Only the mcarbo keltech sub2000 has all metal parts. I have the mcarbo version had the basic keltech sold it to upgrade to the mcarbo version. Yes it was 1140 bucks but instead of just a range toy or plinker, it's a serious home defense self defense weapon that can use plus p rds and is rugged dependable and is just as good as a cmmg banshee 9mm or upper tier carbines.
All you had to do was install a stainless steel feedramp, and the MCarbo trigger kit. The rest is still polymer.
Polymer is not a bad word.
Glock is the F150 of pistols.
How long you been working for Macarbo?
@@scottloftin1730 Unclear. In this case yes, the rest is polymer, but if you're talking about the MCARBO version: You get the stainless steel feedramp. The trigger kit is metal of course, but it's internal and reduces pull by pounds. You also get a metal trigger and trigger guard along with metal sights and muzzle brake. You also get a stainless steel hammer bushing to replace the plastic one. They replace the stock aluminum grip pins and screws with carbon steel. It also includes the bolt tube cover, recoil buffer and extended mag release. I bought mine three years ago for $750. Don't tell me there is no polymer on your AR-15.
