Watched the entire video, thinking of upgrading my 2k so i was watching the how-to.
I had a few AFGs hanging around from my ARs and that was the first thing i added before even discovering you guys.... love that AFG...
Not sure i want to drill into the stock, i'm not a carpenter... or change the rear sight... internals, charging handle, cheek pad.... send em over!
Mcarbo your rubber hand guard is black, could you add od green as option for sub2000
Where do I purchase the kit to do the job myself
Send one of these too Hickok45
I bought all of these upgrades, but I forgot a few and placed a separate order. They recognized the email and combined the order and refunded me the money for the second shipping payment. Then they emailed me the day after everything was delivered to ask if everything made it and there weren't any defects. I love this company. The parts are really well made too.
So, I watched this 3 times and have finally collected all the M*CARBO parts for this upgrade. The adventure starts tonight!
I'm just waiting for my gun than I will be joining you Chris :)
How did it go?
@@selectsovereigntydefendlib9884 Went very well! And all the upgrades made it much easier to shoot. I spent the extra time to polish more than they suggested, if it was metal on metal, it got polished. It's definitely got a cult like following, people love or hate it.
@@Cadsbury i got all the internals only to realize my trigger return spring wasnt in the bag. Wasnt sure if it fell out when I opened it so just ordered a new one. Minorly frusturating. Do you know if you can polish using a power drill?
Select Sovereignty *Defend Liberty* Man, that sucks, sorry. There are some small parts in those bags, they do ship quickly, so there’s a positive. Sure you can use a drill, might be a little cumbersome on the smaller parts, just take your time. I spent a couple of evenings after work to just polish pieces, but I did go overboard. It’s a great backpack gun now!
Watched the whole thing and really appreciate when companies take the time to go through things in detail. It helps those that like to tinker and DIY, but also helps those of us understand the scope of the work if we buy it direct from y'all to appreciate the effort that goes into it. I plan to reach out to y'all directly to buy one already assembled and ready to rock and roll soon.
Awesome! Glad to hear this! Thanks Brother for your Support!
@@MCARBO Hi! 58:17 Up, not down.
2023, FINALLY bought a Sub-2000 in 9mm multi-mag and immediately ordered and installed the entire MCARBO Pro upgrades. Followed the step video, and used my armorer skills.. it is now my traveling tool.
Watched the whole vid, did all the upgrades at the same time. Took a dinner break and had the rifle back together in a total of 3 hours. Video was very helpful and all the components you supplied are top notch. Can’t wait to put more rounds through the Sub2k now it’s all dialed in!
I bought a KEL-TEC on the advice of a good friend - he said it makes a great Bug-Out bag addition, and he was right. I purchased a new Kel-Tec Sub 2000. Immediately purchased all the M*CARBO replacement parts. Watched the video while waiting for the parts to arrive. Then watched the video during the tear down.
Even though I am expereinced in AR-15 armoring, it's always kinda scary when you take apart a new gun, like when you separate the grip sections, and stuff "springs" out at you, or just becomes untensioned ! This video is superb, every single take apart, and re-assembly issue is noted, and addressed.
From my experience:
After polishing the barrel end, I used a barrel cleaner, and it took alot of cleaning to get the inside of the barrel with a mirrored finish. It was superbly dirty from the factory.
This whole project is one of these, "Since you have it all apart, you might as well , , ," And that is correct. You have got the gun stripped down to parts, you might as well polish (and lube) all metal to metal contact points. The amount of polish and felt polishing tips are well used if you do the entire inside of the gun. Well worth the time, all the action, and safety and trigger are "warm butter" smooth.
The bolt and the recoil weight were fairly scratched, and grooved for a new gun. This is because there are sharp edges inside the butt stock tube/action tube. I used both fine emory cloth, and a fingernail sander to smooth out each internal opening/cut-out area, and I did not change the shape or remove a lot of metal, just smoothing the inner edges. Had to use 400 wet/dry on the recoil weight because the scratches were so deep. After cleaning up the recoil weight with sandpaper, I then proceeded to polish out the areas of concern. I did not polish the entire weight, just about the top three inches and the bottom edge - again anything where there was metal to metal contact, was polished.
Compared to the video (and I realize the video is a couple of years old), my flat trigger did not come with a "spacer" and nor was one needed. Also the muzzle brake can with a concave spacer, but not a nut, and not a wrench.
When I polished the end of the barrel, I masked off the end, and ran a towel around the entire thing so that I did not have to "clean off" all the plastic parts when I was finished that job.
The integrated, tool-less locking pin was a challenge - but only because it's hard to compress the recoil spring with your bare hands! Put on your Mechanicx gloves and you are good to go !
The KEl-TEC hand grip (trigger side of gun) opens into 2 halves. Where it meets (the seam), has a little extra plastic flash leaving a sharp edge - after all the internals were removed, I put the halves together and used the emory board (fingernail file type), to shave that excess plastic away from the grip area, and make it smooth. This will assist the grip installation by allowing the grip material to lie flat across the gun's seams.
The M*CARBO parts are super high quality (unlike the rest of the gun). The website worked great, my parts arrived in a timely manner, and all the instruction vids are excellent.
Nice to work on a project with a FULL VIDEO to reference, instead of some of the more limited videos of other manufacturers.
Great addition to my bug-out bag, and I thank everyone a M*CARBO for doing a great job on this KEL-TEC SUB 2000
Thanks Again !!
2:19:01 and stayed awake through the whole thing! Lots of great ideas, and to think of it, I got here because I watched your video on the Smith & Wesson Trigger Upgrade Kit. While I was ordering them, I got into the Kal-Tec stuff and came across this video. These filled my afternoon and gained MCARBO a new customer. Thanks again!
Yes… I watched the whole video. Now I’m convinced the M SERIES is worth buying. I saw one at a local gun shop. It’s MINE!!!
Just bought a 2000. Yes I watched the whole video. It is awesome. I will be sending you my rifle as soon as I get another payday.
Made it through the entire video. In all honesty, I was watching a video on the Ruger 357 GP 100 last night and dozed off. I woke up to your video in the pre dawn. Sometimes it’s the best way for me to sleep and not have nightmares. I’m sorry, I guess I deployed one or two too many times so I find it soothing to sleep listening to intricate reviews or technical 2A builds. Thank you for your video. I woke up alive and without a nightmare.
Thanks from a retired armorer! Made it through even though I have installed a few of your products such as trigger kit and aluminum trigger. Unfortunately my arthritis has gotten so bad that my days of small work are done:( I am thinking of sending my g2 in for the full treatment and switching over to the flat trigger as I think it would work better for me. Great job Chris!
Awesome! Thanks Brother, glad to hear you made it to the end. It was the longest video we've made yet. Didn't want to leave out any details out of this one! Give us a call and we can get the Custom Work going for you. 888-347-1276. We're at a 2 week turn around at the moment.
Thanks for taking the time to make this video. I just bought my first Sub 2000 Gen 2 and am planning my parts order now. Very detailed and helpful for those of us who work on our own weapons.
I really appreciate your effort and everything you guys do back there. I can now say that im fully familiar with the sub2k, really helps when you having trouble on the field or just doing paper target, thanks again!
Thanks for taking the time to include so many details and close ups. I appreciate that kind of care and effort, from the beginning to the end of the video! Thank you for your service!
Just watched the whole thing as I was installing some upgrades (internals, trigger guard, trigger, springs, hardware, rear sight). Waiting for the upgraded latch, grips, and recoilless charging handle to arrive. Ran a couple hundred rounds through the S2K earlier this week. Cannot wait to try it out now. The videos posted on M-CARBOs website are amazing. I imagine Chris gets a little negative feedback from the videos, but anyone who has a problem with any of it needs to lighten up. Just keep doing what you’re doing. The passion you have is rare.
Watched the entire thing. Waiting for my parts order and will probably watch the whole thing again prior to my modifications session and review the bits and pieces as I do the install. Thanks for all your hard work!
Amazing video, watched the whole thing even though it took me about 4 hours and lots of rewinds to get it all done. Couldn't do it without your guidance, chief. MANY THANKS!
Watched the whole video. Great job! Just ordered all of the internal upgrade parts for my sub and a few extras. Can’t wait to feel the difference! Keep up the good work!
Thank you, you have out done yourself this time:) I bought my all in one kit Pro kit over labor day during the sale. I haven't had time to install it. This video was perfect timing for me as I picked up the new hammer bushing and with this video (as always) you have come through again!!
Soon when I am getting cabin fever during winter it will be "Game On" with my Gen 2 sub 2000 !!!
Awesome! Happy to hear this! Glad you found it useful Brother! This makes it all worth it. We want to make the installation as enjoyable as possible....not a nightmare...we save that part for us! Haha.
Yes, I made it all the way through and loved every minute of it. Your vocal instructions throughout this entire video was nothing less than perfect and kept completely engaged. The best instructional video, on any topic, that I've ever witnessed on youtube. Thank you so much for hosting and posting this great video!
Yep, watched the whole thing. Great attention to detail. Appreciate the work it took to make this. 🍻
I wanna thank you for your time on this video. It was a bit long but definitely informative. I absolutely will be doing an mcarbo upgrade to my sub 2k gen 2 and this is the video I will refure to. Thanx man I appreciate you and everyone at mcarbo
Man is the best disassembly/assembly firearm video I’ve ever seen! I just ordered my kel-tec sub2000 Gen II 2 days ago and I defiantly know which company I’m going with to deck her out🤟🏼. Good shit man!!
God bless!!
I made it through the entire video... I purchased every part you showcased here... The install went perfect... Very happy with the result... Very informative and well thought out video...
Awesome! Glad to hear it Brother. Thank you for sharing the results!
Made it. This will be my first firearm. 👍 Just ordered it.
Absolutely, the best tutorial build I’ve seen online! Attention to detail is outstanding. Thank you for service, God Bless
Just picked up my mcarbo s2 yesterday and I've been admiring it all morning - just watched this (all the way through!) to see how it was put together. Looks amazing - can't wait to stand in line for ammo this week and take it to the range.
Really helpful. Your videos are not only informative and with all the necessary detail, but very entertaining to watch. Thanks Chris. You're the next Richard Rawlings!!!
Mcarbo upgrades are top notch. I have so many and all work great. I love watching this upgrade videos even though I don’t even own a sub2000!
of course i made it brother! there is no way i could have got my kit installed without you and this video.. thank you for everything you do. my sub is a beast and i love it even more now with all your mcarbo parts. i am fully m seriesed out !!!
Watched the whole show! Have a bag full of MCarbo components in the basement waiting to be installed. I'll revisit this video as I enjoy making the additions! THANKS! Bob in IL
Watched it all!! And subscribed!!! Just purchased my first G2, S2K 9mm. Needed to get a proper introductin to it and this was perfect! Looking forward to adding some upgrades. Thank you!!!
Bought everything I want so far, just need the trigger assy, steel feed ramp, and the optic mount and I will be set! Thanks guys love all the parts!
Awesome! Thanks Brother for your Support!
I watched the whole video and it was great!! I've been thinking about another PCC, and I think this is the one for me.You guys did an awesome job on the upgrades. Very nicely done!
I made it!! I really appreciate the in depth breakdown and installation. I will be fully decking out my sub with all of your available upgrades :)
Years later still relevant. Yup made it all the way through. I’ll probably watch it several times then decide to send it to you :-)
Thanks for all your hard work !!
Made it through the entire video love your detail in explaining everything I can't wait to order my parts. I saved the video for future reference thanks again good job !!
I made it! Thanks for putting this together. Makes it so much easier following along when you elaborate clearly and edit the way you have. Amazing job brother 👏🙌👍
Glad it helped!
Thank you Chris for my upgrades love competing with the pcc division.
Glad to hear it Brother! Thank you for your Support! You guys keep us motivated!!
Watched the entire video, exceptionally through, thank you first for your service to our great country, and for an excellent video, info, incomparable parts and service. I just purchased the full kit for my kel tec pmr 30 and had zero issues now looking forward to this complete kit for my sub 2000. Way to go guys, talk about a home run. Looking forward to more videos and I'm now a subscriber.
Just watched the whole thing in preparation to install all the same upgrades!! Thanks for the great instructions
Thanks. Excellent work with the camera, edits, and explanations. I'd have never gotten through it by guessing at some of the crucial parts. Nearly lost the sear spring across the room but I got lucky just before giving up after 30 minutes. A trick I used for trimming the bolt tube cover was to pull it onto a 3/4" pvc pipe and trace the line by pressing an exacto blade into it. I hope the thing stays in place though, I'm one of the weirdos that likes my buttstock on the #3 setting. So, after about four hours of doing the trigger kit, feed ramp polishing, bolt tube cover, muzzle device, two-finger charging handle, and RDL, I think I'm happy with it. Test fire next weekend.
Made it thru the entire video. Great info. Late to Sub 2k's bit mine will be in my hands in 10 days. Cant wait to order parts. Great vid
Made it to the end! You inspired me to order a lot of upgrades which I now have the confidence to install myself. Would not have done it without the video. Thanks!
Awesome! Glad to hear it Brother! Share your results once you get the upgrades installed!
You're awesome! I pretty much did everything on my Sub that wasn't already done (trigger, trigger guard, and springs)!
Love the little details. Made many installs go much smoother. Thank you.
Got the RDB, QD sling mount and tube cover installed today. Thanks a lot MCARBO!!
I just ordered one from you guys today. Yes, I watched the whole video. Great tutorial.
Watched the whole video. loved the detail. Purchased my first sub 2k and was looking at M*Carbo for upgrades I am glad I came across this video.
The Ric Flair "WHOOOO" at the end was awesome...I watched to the end and I don't even own a Kel-Tec but I will be a future customer for some of your glock kits.
God bless!
Hahaha... I was losing my mind near the end. Glad I made it! Full day of filming non stop....12 hours! Pew!
Takes a minute to get it all of that condensed into a "short" video....glad you guys don't have to watch all 12 hours of footage...Haha!
Made it to the end....I am so appreciative for you and your team. I bought this firearm for its coolness, you have made it into a hot, real, reliable and user friendly to work on addition to my collection. Thank you for all your hard work, its appreciated brother. I admit, was waiting for a while to see what folks thought about the flip up sight mount, but the wait is over, im ordering one tomorrow....I would order now, but your video was so long, its bed time....but I'm grateful for the video. NICE WORK MCARBO, LOVE YOU GUYS.
This was a great video and I'm glad you went through everything thoroughly and explained in detail the various parts! I just ordered my S2K and will be getting it tomorrow! I plan on taking it to the range the same day and I will be ordering some of these parts from you in the near future. I've seen a good number of reviews(both on YT from other channels as well as online reviews from the average joe) and have seen A LOT of good praise!
I made it! Really good and informative video. These are really cool firearms and cant say enough about the detail and fun OCD-edness you took the time to share. Great, Thanks million!
Really enjoyed watching this video...very informative and instructional. Considering getting the Sub2000 and will definitely get all, if not most, of the upgrades. Great job, man.
Amazing video. I wish other companies would do such an in depth tear down. I recently got a sub2k and you gave me a lot to consider and I don’t feel as nervous about tearing it apart. Thanks, I’ll definitely be buying some stuff from y’all soon.
Glad we could help!
Got the all-in-one, installed it with the previous great videos, made it to the end: thank you guys for all you have done for us. My Sub2000 is sweet and turns heads every time I bring it out. I always mention it's got all the upgrades from you guys and that's why it's on par or better than the other PCCs out there. Oorah - former Sgt USMC
Awesome! Glad to hear this Brother! Thank you for spreading the word at the range. We appreciate your Support!
Thank you for your Service!
Made it to the end. I'll be picking one up soon and buying your items. Complete teardown was hella useful. I'm sure ill use it as a reference point.
Awesome! Glad to hear it Brother!
Thank you for providing this! Well presented. Very generous. Must watch for anyone with this gun regardless of generation or modifications / upgrades. Very valuable information. I am now extremely comfortable getting in and out of my old (5,000+ rounds) Gen 1 and subsequently really pleased to have it running again after lengthy downtime. The hammer axis + bushing commentary was critical information for me in solving my particular gun's issues. In the process I have in fact purchased all of the trigger components that you represent so well here. Thank you again! s.c.w.
Awesome! Glad to hear the video was helpful. Thank you for your support Brother!
I watched the whole video. Almost a year later and this is still a big help. Thank you.
Just ordered mine and I'm already looking at upgrades! You'll be hearing from me soon. Thanks for the great video, I like doing my own work and this was a great tutorial! I'll be back!
Your videos help so much. Watched you video on the complete pmr install. Once to build interest, 2nd time was for review once the parts showed up before install, and the 3rd time i had it playing while I installed all the parts. Love you guys. Keep up the good work.
that flip sight is extremely satisfying to listen to and idk why
Great video, very informative. Will use it step by step to install the MCARBO parts I ordered as soon as they arrive. Well done
Cool! I made a last round bolt hold open and indicator, plus extra mag holder and stock keeper.. Both of myne are now superstars.. lol Keltec's can ROCK!
Thanks, great information for installing your upgrades. Watched it to the end.
Just watched it for the first time. I learned a ton about the Sub 2000 and am ready to go buy one!!! Thanks for making the video and thanks even more so for making the cool add-ons to make the 2000 awesome!
Made it! Thanks for your instruction!
I just bought a Sub2k and immediately started looking up videos on it and found this one, watched all the way through and can say that as soon as I get the money its coming strait to you guys ♥
It took me 2 days to make it to the end, but I watched the whole video start to finish. The Sub 2000 is a super fun gun and the M Carbo upgrades all look worthwhile and useful. Thanks a bunch...a lot of great info packed into this video.
Awesome! Glad to hear it Brother. Happy the video was helpful.
I made it through the whole vid. Tremendous. Very informative, and straight forward. Thank you.
I absolutely love the videos , they are clear and there’s no guessing. I have to have all these upgrades and I want to thank y’all for getting me in trouble with my wife with all the money I have to spend lol !!! Thanks MCARBO
Great video! Really clear, comprehensive, and well produced. I did start to doze off a little during the polishing phase. :-)
I made a few screenshots for reference when I work on my not-yet-acquired Sub 2000. Again, great job!
My pro kit arrives tomorrow. Third watch through. So excited 😆
Made it to the end, Great walk through. From pile of parts to an upgraded carbine.
Wow....almost 2 1/2 hours. I started around 12:40 and it's now 3am. I had no idea the video would be this long but I couldn't stop watching. I appreciate the time you took to make the video and the tips and tricks as well as the little details which should make my upgrades a breeze. Great Job Chris !
Thanks Brother, glad to hear it was that helpful! There was a lot to cover and I wanted to make sure nothing was left out on this one. Really don't want to make another video this long again! Haha.
@@MCARBO Well it's 2 years later and I watched it again. This time to actually do the All-In-One install. Everything went perfectly except for when the hammer slammed my fingernail. 😫 My Sub is now completely tricked out. It was a fun project. Well done again on the Video. 👍
Watched the whole magilla! :D Great video - instructive and entertaining. Cheers!
Just got my new Kel Tec Sud - this was a great and very helpful video.
Excellent video. Have been trying to select a "budget" PCC and was leaning towards the SUB 2000. Started watching this vid just out of curiosity about your upgrades and ended up getting a TON of pleasure and info from it. I'm now sold on both the carbine and your upgrades. Hopefully I can easily track down the firearm in this day and age... You'll be receiving my order shortly after. Great work. Subscribed.
CHEERS.
Great video, covered everything that needs to be covered to trick-out the Sub 2000. Great job all the way through!
This was a great video. I have ordered my parts and I should be going through all of this in about one week. Thanks to Chris and his team.
Thanks Troy, glad to hear it Brother!
Thank you for taking the time to produce such a detailed and professional how to Video!!!
Great video! Thank you! I just got my sub (actually I pick up in a few days) and I'm definitely going to do almost everything you demonstrated.
Fantastic video, I love the sub and look forward tp adding these upgrades to mine. Thanks KEL-TEC and M*CARBO.
I thought it was a very informative and good video. I loved all the internal upgrades and also the external upgrades. Will be sending mine to y'all soon to get some upgrades myself.
Watched it twice once before i installed the parts then as i was installing the parts. Shoots as soft as a bb gun great upgrades
Awesome! Always love hearing this!
I must say I can’t thank you enough for this video I was surprised myself that I got through it all but very worthwhile.
Made it through the whole thing. Nice!
Just picked up a Sub 2k. Cant wait to upgrade it. Video has been very helpful!!!
I never wanted one of these until now. Watched it all!
Made it! Nice job with the info. Very thorough 🎉
Thanks for the new video, Chris. You guys (and gals) got me started building firearms just with your MCARBO upgrades. I'll keep this one as a reference for KT and the Sub2K.
Awesome! Thanks Brother for your Support!
Thank you. Watched it to the end.
Watched the whole thing but I do admit I FFed through the parts I already installed or have no intention of putting on. This was a fantastic video for the detail and closeup shots. Thanks for making a pretty cool weapon into an awesome tool!
Haha! Love the toss! Made me a fan with one toss and a ‘bam’!
Made it to the end.Loved the info.Learned alot. Thanks
Awesome! Glad to hear it! Thank you for your Support!
Made it to the end. I'll need everything except the M-LOK covers and grip. I stippled all those areas. Came out black on the tan and i love it.
Watched it to the end and really enjoyed all the work done to make such an informative video. Currently waiting for all parts to arrive for my Sub2000 so I can do my upgrades. Replacing springs, trigger and trigger guard, trigger bar and hammer bushing. Also ordered the stainless steel feed ramp! Wishing I had ordered everything in one order, so I could get them all at the same time! Should have all upgrades installed before end of Feb 2024.
I made it to the end boss. Great vid. Thank you. Never forget....... .
Awesome! Thanks Brother. Glad you made it! Happy it was useful!
I just bought a Sub2000 and I’m looking for upgrades so thank you for the video. Yes I made it all the way through but you didn’t do anything weird at the end haha. Love the channel keep up the great work.
