God rest Barry. Biggest omission is the Extar EP9. The absolute value king. 449.00 with brace and comp. Glock mags, side charger, ideal for running suppressors. Last round bolt hold open. And the best blowback recoil damper ever in 9mm carbine. At 4 pounds. The CMMG is the best if money is no object. But I would rather have 3 EP9,s.

Just got a Brigade BM-9 and I love it, true AR platform with all the bells and whistles, takes all 9mm glock mags and the rail is “U-lok” which fits keymod and M-lok with no adapter needed, they’re around $600 to $750 depending where you find them but Brigade also offers a lifetime gun warranty

Big fan for years and will continue to be. Keep up the hard work!
Ive had a Ruger PC Charger set up to suit me for about $1400 total and ive shot probly 1000 rds flawlessly. Puts on average 46 outta 50 in a 8" paper plate at 25 yards. Also when taken down i can get all of it plus speedloader, box ammo and small accessories in a 14" x 10" nylon tool bag. Most fun had in while. Also it has 2 receivers so can fit LOT of diff mags.
Ruger PCC with a red dot...my favorite range gun. At the max distance (indoor) of 30yds it shoots over and over in the same hole (giggidy). I always start out with it before I practice with anything I'm not so accurate with, just to not feel like a complete noob when I miss the paper with my .380 or something.
They may not know about it because it's only available direct. That being said, I love the hell out of mine. Protos handguard, a Romeo 5, and a bag of funsticks and I'm having a good time at the range. Have a CGS mod9 sk in NFA prison. Can't wait to try it!
I bought a Faxon Bantam 16" 9mm rifle. I looked around and chose it because of their reputation and since the bolt stays open on the last round. Not all PCC's do that and it was important to me to have that option. It shots great and recoil is similar to an AR15. I did buy a new stock, grip and some mbus sights for it and am very happy. It is fun to shot.
Being the owner of a very inexpensive 9MM PCC, I’m not sure of any 9MM PCCs POU. (Philosophy of Use) I love my Hi-Point 995TS and with OEM approved 20 round RedBall Sports Magazines, it’s a very dependable, accurate, fun PCC. It eats everything without any problems. But that wasn’t my only 9MM PCC. In 2018 I bought a KelTec Sub2000 (Glock mags only) and it was a true “Jam-O-Magic”. I sent it back under warranty, and it returned 3 months later only slightly better. Only half the time it would it run an OEM 17 round Glock magazine without jamming. I sold it for what I paid, and yes I did disclose its issues. As the owner of 3 Ruger firearms, I gave the Ruger PC-9 a try with a good friends rifle, but it felt cheap and the receiver with magazines installed fit very loosely with significant play. It was accurate, reliable and fun to shoot, but wasn’t any better than my Hi-Point other than it is a take down rifle. The Chiappa sure sounds interesting, (I have one of their SAA) but it has many bad reviews, and I have yet to shoot one. As for the more expensive PCC’s, I just don’t have any desire to spend $800+ on a firearm without a defined POU. I’ll stick with my 9MM pistols as sidearms, my AR-15s as battle rifles, and my .308 hunting rifles for long distance. For my hiking trips into the wilderness, I bring my Rossi R92 Lever Action rifle and a GP100 along with a Browning Buckmark and plenty of .357MAG and 22LR. It may not be 9MM, but the Rossi R92 with 10 rounds of .357MAG is the perfect old-fashion PCC, and a perfect companion to the GP100.
I have the Midwest Industries chassis kit for my Ruger PCC and love it. Great for plinking and home defense. The gun comes with mag well adapters for Ruger SR series and Glock magazines.
You two dudes don’t have no idea how helpful this video is it’s the most informative structured video y’all have ever made it’s got a lot of pertinent info in there for us pcc turtle buyers who are about to come off the post good job as always keep it coming make more of these types of videos in this format do it for every kind accessory made an go thru the different mfg to show who’s the best quality vs price because that’s what matters that an not being a post turtle like our current president and I’m sorry if you don’t know what a post turtle is but there’s ya something to look up today an learn something new
The b&t mags are not the best but I do know that if they break that b&t is known for replacing for you. I have the B&T ghm9 gen 2, and the B&T apc9 pro and love both! Also they make rubber bump pads that go over the bottom of the mag that helps if dropped.
The only 9mm B&T I'm interested in is the TP9. It's the only one that does anything other PCCs don't, by being small. The thing has it's own issues though, being proprietary and costly.
I appreciate your comprehensive and overall approach to covering all these PCCs. I don't follow a lot of the European manufacturers so this was helpful.
I’ve always liked my Ruger PCC because it’s like shooting a 10/22 but bigger. It’s not the best, it did eventually require some M*CARBO parts to keep it running right, but I started shooting a 10/22 when I was 7. So it’s familiar. And it takes glock mags.
Excellent video. I built a Colt AR variant with our beloved Anderson receivers, Hann Block, CMMG ramped bolt and Faxon Barrels. Uppers I run are Anderson non forward assist receivers with a 16" Faxon barrel upper, a 10.5" Faxon Barrel upper, and im building a 4.5" Faxon Barrel upper with a 3 lug mount. The lighter you go the more you feel the moving mass so I will be switching to a Maxim Gen7 CQB / JP captured spring and removing the lead from the CMMG ramped bolt. I found this vid doing research for the latest upgrades (Maxim CQB, JP spring, and finding 10" rail that will fit over my 4.5" barrel paired with a Rugged Obsidian 9 on the 3 lug) Ive narrowed it down to two rails, Faxon's CF 10" or the Griffin SR-Rigid 10.5. Thanks for all the great info.
Buy once cry once is a registered trademark of Snap-on tools. Whenever referenced, I ran strait to Sears. Nowadays, Harbor Freight. For guns, I just run the other way!
@@tbr2109 (he reasons with the nay sayer, desperately trying to convince him, and secretly himself, that the gun doesn't feel like a nerf gun filled with concrete.)
The Ruger PC model 19122 tactical with a 16" barrel is a phenomenal weapon system for home defense and security. It is very accurate, strong built, a bit heavy towards the barrel, which mitigates recoil. Also, the 16" barrel length muffles the sound report quite noticeably, making it ideal for indoors security use, whereas a 5.56 cal will blow your ear drums. I highly recommend the Ruger PC.
I know there are a lot of PCC’s. Foxtrot Mike is another good one that takes Glock mags and has last round bolt hold open. Price is around 600-700. Fairly reasonable. Many different options available and great customer service.
The CZ Scorpion EVO3 has been a great platform. With a HBI 3.5 lb trigger spring, Manticore Arms brace, Holosun sight, and a 50 rd magpul drum, really fun, super reliable so far after about 2000 rds
Im a bit surprised they did not cover the following 9mm carbines: Aero Precision AR9, Spikes tactical AR9, Foxtrot Mike FM9, BCA AR9(I think BCA makes one, I could be wrong). The Aero Precision just came out in 2020. The Spikes has been out for a while, I actually own one and they are fantastic. BTW Im 100% happy with this video they did. I am not complaining. This is their channel and not mine. They did a fantastic job on this vid.
I got the 4” scorpion, I changed the grip to a magpul for 20 bucks and it’s now my go to in home self defense weapon. It’s a pistol, but I love it. There’s no need to change the charging handle, trigger, or safety.
I recently put together an AR-9 with the PSA lower that accepts the Colt style magazines. I went with the Colt style because when I purchased it several years ago, the Glock style didn't have the last round hold open. The magazines are a little more expensive, but really not bad. I only have around 200 rounds through it, but so far it's been flawless and shoots roughly 3" groups at 100 yard with a red dot. It has an AR Stoner upper and a Rosco 7.5 inch Bloodline barrel. Very happy!
Hi Point Carbines are the way to go. Cheap and extremely reliable, unlike their pistol counterparts. You can get them from 380-10mm. Red Ball makes extended mags for them and High Tower Armory makes bullpup conversion kits for them as well. I have one in 9mm and the thing cycles anything I put in it including +P
They are very good carbines, and they can reach targets over 250 yards away. They handle hollow-point ammo reliably. The accuracy is also good with good ammo.
I have a conversion CMMG Banshee with Franklin Arms binary trigger. 5" 9mm barrel and a Holosun red dot. I also have the 5.7 upper in 8". Although a pistol, the thing easily double taps steel at 100yds and fits in my kids Minecraft backpack. I have Glock pistols and could have chosen the AR9 system, but chose the conventional mag well so I could run different conversions from the same lower.
Excellent video as usual-very very informative. Having an SP5 & SP 5K, in the world of semi-auto, that HK platform I’ve discovered requires zero maintenance other than cleaning & oiling and you don’t even have to do that until after many many many rounds. Real MP5 probably different over time, but for most of us it will be semi. Have a B&T Gen 1 GHM9 & a an early DS import TP 9 and both are as reliable, accurate and robust as the HK stuff. Your Lone Wolf is bad to the bone all day long.
CMMG upper for AR pattern rifle chambered in 9mm with mean arms mag conversion insert for p-mag 2nd generation. A little expensive but works very nice. Radial blowback and last round bolt hold open. It’s a soft shooter that works very well.
I bought an Exstar EP9 when they first came out online. I was expecting crap but the only time it ever jammed was from a bad mag. I was very pleasantly surprised.
Love my full length Ruger PCC. Ran the last 800 rounds range FMJ and many different kinds of JHPs flewlessly. It is heavy, but it's also tough as nails. The weight also helps steady the muzzle for more accurate 2nd shots. Before the panic the base model (actually a bit lighter than my MLOK upper model) was $400. Hping Ruger makes a "light" copetition model. Shorter/lighter handguard. Perhaps a non-takedpwn model if that trims ounces. Different size tungsten "dead blow" weights. A 14"-15" barrel with pinned comp to make it 16" multi-state compliant. Was JP GMR-15 discussed? That's my dream 9mm. Extremely flat shooter.
I love my Ruger PC charger.... the weight is a plus for me like you said it's very well balanced. I threw an SBA3 brace on it and it is def top 5 in my arsenal right now.
I know this video is over a year old but I have to comment: The B&T GHM9 Compact Gen 2 9mm with the Glock lower and Telescoping Tailhook brace is absolutely superb IMHO. The price point was kind of sting at 2k but when I got my hands on it…..The fit and finish is amazing. Disassembly and maintenance is very easy. Most importantly it is an absolutely sweet shooter. Buy once cry once indeed. I honestly wish I bought 2 of these.
Love my scorpion. All tricked out with HBI parts. I’d say it’s my favorite gun in my safe so far. Just wishing I could find more 9mm to feed threw it 🤠
Fell in love with it when I first saw one. Saw one on the wall in my LGS and took it home. Extended HBI charging handle was the first thing I added...then switched out the right selector switch.
The Keltec Sub 2000 comes in two versions for 9mm Glock19 and the other is compatable with Beretta, CZ75B, Smith & Wesson and SIG Sauer pistol magazines. 10- to 33-round magazines.
For me, I wished you added the Extar EP9, Foxtrot Mike FM-9 & Aero Precision EPC. I think all these guns would shack up well against everything on your list.
I was especially hoping to see them talk about the latter two. The FM-9 and Aero Precision EPC are both very high-quality entries with the FM actually being a fairly high-value option, especially if you can get your hands on an upper and lower to assemble yourself.
I think they only made like 50 of those. I tried for 5 months to get one even having direct contact with their top sales rep and he basically admitted that they just don't make very many.
They have some come available every week. You have to be quick and grab one as soon as you get the notification but they are available. I got mine a few weeks ago. For the money they are hard to beat. I like it better than my Stribog.
I LOVE my MPX-K with the exception of the entry price and price of the magazines. Other than that it’s my favorite PCC I’ve ever used and I’d put it against damn near anything
I'm not sure how I missed this video by years? I built a Foxtrot Mikes 9mm 2-3 years ago. Its always ran exceptionally well & stupid accurate in close- mid ranges. I can keep 31 rounds in size of quarter at 50 yards easily. It was very affordable at time. The cmmg banshee is best at style pcc with delay blowback. Not cheap though!
@@rudder727 yeah I bought my Ruger PC Charger because at the time it was available and the Extar was not. While I’m happy with my Ruger, the Extar at half the cost would have helped defray the cost of ammo.....
I think for the price and the fact they're still available makes them so worth it. Glock is made of plastic and nobody questions the longevity of them plus extar got their start making all plastic AR15's and those have held up great. I have an ep9 and I love it!
Kel Tec Sub 2000..... $500. Glock or other mags... folds to 16 inches with a 16 inch barrel.. 4.5 lbs. Fits in a day pack and unfolds in a couple seconds. Can't miss a torso target standing at 100 yards... Extra points because it's one of the few of these guns legal in California..
Psa has the akv and the arv both are pretty good budget options the akv comes in at about 900 I think and it’s actually a super rad little 9 mm ak for the price you can’t beat it if a ak 9 is what your after

Scorpion for the win
Nah. Straight blowback sucks. Also, you can get a CMMG radial delay bolt/barrel and build a 9mm PCC for cheaper than a scorpion.
@@NACAM42 lol u probably suck with trigger and recoil control 😉
Sorry too late I bought one years ago and love it. 🤷🏻♂️
Sorry Psa AKV-9 for the win.
Ak Pak 9 for the win
I have the Midwest Industries chassis kit for my Ruger PCC and love it. Great for plinking and home defense. The gun comes with mag well adapters for Ruger SR series and Glock magazines.
The Extar EP9 is fantastic for only $449! Can't beat it!
You two dudes don’t have no idea how helpful this video is it’s the most informative structured video y’all have ever made it’s got a lot of pertinent info in there for us pcc turtle buyers who are about to come off the post good job as always keep it coming make more of these types of videos in this format do it for every kind accessory made an go thru the different mfg to show who’s the best quality vs price because that’s what matters that an not being a post turtle like our current president and I’m sorry if you don’t know what a post turtle is but there’s ya something to look up today an learn something new
“Anything Swiss made is expensive but will last a lifetime”, preceded by telling us the magazines are junk and break if they fall on the floor. Lmao
Triggers are pretty bad too, it seems.
The APC45 mags are steel and seem to be pretty robust in my experience. I think it's just the cheap plastic 9mm mags that are the issue.
The b&t mags are not the best but I do know that if they break that b&t is known for replacing for you. I have the B&T ghm9 gen 2, and the B&T apc9 pro and love both! Also they make rubber bump pads that go over the bottom of the mag that helps if dropped.
Lol I think he was taking about the gun and not the mags.. But yeah there are Glock mag options and the 45 cal gun has better mags..
The only 9mm B&T I'm interested in is the TP9. It's the only one that does anything other PCCs don't, by being small. The thing has it's own issues though, being proprietary and costly.
Great video but missing Extar EP9 and Noveske PCCs
where can i buy one?
I love my B&T APC9...Suppressor, Aimpoint....awesome package!
You guys completely missed the EXTAR EP9!
Agreed. The most inexpensively priced, yet smooth running PCC on the market. ... They also brain farted on the CMMG Banshee.
@@yikesvikes The Guard is what the Banshee used to be called.
Love my Extar EP9. Lists at 449.00, but you have to purchase direct from manufacturer. Also the CAA MCK for your Glock.
Armalite m-15 9mm 9” barrel Glock mags SWEEET!!! I got a few hundred rounds through it and so far flawless victory
Love this❤
The Chiappa Pak 9 AK 9mm & the Extar Ep9 are 2 you forget and are some of the best
Love my Extar and dad has one too
Chiappa they spaced on and thats a reasonable priced that readily available.
@@granitejeepc3651 I agree
Owning or having owned several of these guns, it's about time someone did a comprehensive list of available PCC's.

Man for 300 I’ve been thinking about picking it up
I’ve been watching U2 for quite a while now really enjoy your presentation and your humor as well thank you from San Diego.
I don’t have experience with any of these but I really like my foxtrot mike with the 10.5 barrel.
I highly recommend the Ruger PC.
i've got one and i love it
Agreed. I also have the charger version and its fantastic.
@@glmorten I am very pleased with my Ruger PC tactical (for half the price the CZ Evo Scorpion).
no Extar EP9? Love it and it cost $420 when I got it, plus it takes Glock mags.
I know there are a lot of PCC’s. Foxtrot Mike is another good one that takes Glock mags and has last round bolt hold open. Price is around 600-700. Fairly reasonable. Many different options available and great customer service.
Zzzz
Love the sliding brace on the Scorpion, more companies should try and incorporate that into their guns.
Seems like I've seen so e version of the M4 with that brace on it
The CZ Scorpion EVO3 has been a great platform.
At this point, 9mm is more pricey than gold.
Silver !!!
Convert your Glock to run on 22tcm I can still find that for like $18 for 50
Yep
I’ll trade a pistol for 9mm ammo at this point lol
What is pricey to you??? Just curious!
Very happy!
I'm surprised I've never seen you guys do a video on the Extar EP9.
where can i buy one?
Please consider adding chapters for these videos with multiple specific guns
Hi Point Carbines are the way to go. Cheap and extremely reliable, unlike their pistol counterparts. You can get them from 380-10mm. Red Ball makes extended mags for them and High Tower Armory makes bullpup conversion kits for them as well.
I have one in 9mm and the thing cycles anything I put in it including +P
12:05 in is my FX-9, I absolutely love this one and runs great. Never had any issues and very accurate. Definitely recommend
They are very good carbines, and they can reach targets over 250 yards away. They handle hollow-point ammo reliably. The accuracy is also good with good ammo.
Favorite 9mm handgun - sig p226.
It's a shame nobody makes a carbine that accepts those mags.
Thank-you guys.I’m real glad you are out there doing your thing. Rick
Love my Ruger PC Charger! I have the sylvan adapter waiting for the $ to drop on the 9mm upper! 😡
CMMG upper for AR pattern rifle chambered in 9mm with mean arms mag conversion insert for p-mag 2nd generation. A little expensive but works very nice. Radial blowback and last round bolt hold open. It’s a soft shooter that works very well.
Correct
I bought an Exstar EP9 when they first came out online. I was expecting crap but the only time it ever jammed was from a bad mag.
I was very pleasantly surprised.
1500 rounds through mine and it’s flawless
I second this - really easy to shoot as the tungsten weight reduces recoil and muzzle rise. It is heavy, but ergonomics are great.
I know this video is over a year old but I have to comment:
The B&T GHM9 Compact Gen 2 9mm with the Glock lower and Telescoping Tailhook brace is absolutely superb IMHO.
The accessories and aftermarket parts have exceeded the initial cost for my scorpion. But I use it as my backpack gun. So I didn’t want to cheap out.

Mighty bold of Eric to assume YT will still have pew vids in 10 years. Lol. We make end of 2021 I'll be surprised.
Foxtrot Mike FM-9 With the forward charging handle. I have 2, love them.
I got a CX4 and shortened the barrel. It's awesome and I already had enough mags for it.
The Keltec Sub 2000 comes in two versions for 9mm Glock19 and the other is compatable with Beretta, CZ75B, Smith & Wesson and SIG Sauer pistol magazines. 10- to 33-round magazines.
I love the background....looks like you're doing reviews in Ammunation from GTA
Recently bought the Ruger PC9.
I've got no complaints about it
For me, I wished you added the Extar EP9, Foxtrot Mike FM-9 & Aero Precision EPC. I think all these guns would shack up well against everything on your list.
EP9 is dope. It's easy to fall in love with that light little gem.
I was especially hoping to see them talk about the latter two. The FM-9 and Aero Precision EPC are both very high-quality entries with the FM actually being a fairly high-value option, especially if you can get your hands on an upper and lower to assemble yourself.
@@mikelyman4550 FM-9 are hard to find. Grr...

No Extar EP9? The list is invalid.
The best under the radar PDW with realistic pricing and uses Glock mags. JSOG6
@@dilldowschwagginz2674 Trust me they made more than that. I got mine in a month.

I've got a Ruger PC and a century arms too. I had a storm I had to get read of in 2005. An it was more accurate an loved it so much.
I LOVE my MPX-K with the exception of the entry price and price of the magazines. Other than that it’s my favorite PCC I’ve ever used and I’d put it against damn near anything
Right there with you
I'm not sure how I missed this video by years? I built a Foxtrot Mikes 9mm 2-3 years ago. Its always ran exceptionally well & stupid accurate in close- mid ranges. I can keep 31 rounds in size of quarter at 50 yards easily. It was very affordable at time. The cmmg banshee is best at style pcc with delay blowback. Not cheap though!
was the Extar EP9 considered? I've always been intrigued by it.
Love mine but idk if they mentioned it.
@@shanemaddox1852 how has it performed? You think the polymer construction will stand up over time?
They didn't mention it... but for the price I think the Extar is the best bang for your buck.
