I picked up my G19 grip S2K just the other day, and it's a real blast! When shouldering the gun, instead of tucking into my shoulder and scrunching my head down behind the sight, I raise it up to my eye, then move the toe of the stock back into the shoulder. It seems like the rifle is sitting on top, but it's actually a very steady, comfortable position for a light-recoiling caliber like 9mm or .223.
For the safety, I use the middle knuckle of my thumb on one side, and the base knuckle of my trigger finger on the other; this makes for a very easy and quick safety operation. The biggest problem I have is the mag release, but I'm getting used to that as well.

Picked one up in early 2019 for $316 after tax, added all the MCarbo stuff so that was more than I paid for the gun. I recommend MCarbo...like another commenter said a bit pricey but makes the rifle 3x’s better...sucks you need to pay to make it worthwhile. Rifle works fine as is, but if you don’t mind spending money on a keltec you’ll be happy with the improvements.
Keltec had a mcarbo version for $800 at the time I bought mine, I paid less by doing the upgrades myself. I just saw one MCarbo model at a store for $1300... COVID has screwed everything up.

We just use a "quick release picatinny riser" for our optic , put it on top of the gun for shooting , put it on the bottom of the gun to fold it up ,,,,, MCarbo sells a recoil buffer for them.

On my Gen2 I updated the rear sight along with the 2 finger charging handle. Big improvement. It’s really fun to shoot, and everyone that has fired it walked away with a big smile on their face.

Bought mine 4 years ago, used 40 s&w 350$ red dot and minor upgrades 200$ total and muzzel brake. Only malfunction was with aluminum casing. Easy tl clean. Takes glock mags. Happy with it.

I agree about not adding much to these. Great lil basic plinkers that'll put a hurting on the bed guy's if needed.

Just get the CQB version which has an integrated suppressor. It's just long enough to only need 1 tax stamp (for the suppressor). The barrel also rotates 90 degrees when folding so that you can have an optic on the top rail and still fold it.

File down the picatinny rails just slightly and it will lock and hold zero that way. Forgot who’s video I saw it but it works. I had to file the bottom for the laser and flashlight combo I have on mine.

Why on Earth would they make a Glock 17 version and not just a 19 version with inserts so you can have more options?

My 2K in .40sw hates steel ammo. Jams every time and even managed to split a steel case by forcing it against the extractor. Brass cased no real problems. The only issue I've had with good ammo jamming was some hornady ballistic tipped that deformed when feeding. Fmj and flat nose runs just fine. Eventually I'll upgrade the feed ramp

Look into the MCarbo mods. New rear site and 45 degree offset that install behind the rail.

  • @tbcoachniblick1208

On my gen two the first thing I did was remove the flimsy peep sight and the front sight. I then had room to put on a nice Bushnell red dot with a lifter rail to get perfect elevation so my cheek wasn't mashed against the recoil tube. I cut off an inch and a half of an old golf grip ( butt end) and slipped over the charging nob and it works great. I am still working on a recoil butt pad that will cover the pad and part of the tube where my cheek rests to make it softer... have shot 200 rounds since purchase and no jams for or stove pipes...cannot fold it all the way due to Red Dot but keep all my rifles in full length anyway. Have 3 Glock mags in 17, 21, and 25 rounds and all function great. Except for the sights, charging nob, and butt pad, give this gun a B plus... worth the sub 400 dollar price.👍🇺🇸🤔

223 is like almost the worst home defense, Shotgun and a 45 hallow point pistol is the way to go. Fantastic stopping power and less likely to kill the neighbors. Im not trying to shoot through walls or even bad guys, Im trying to shoot into badguys and then expand...

With the stock sights yes. I've had different red dot mounted on different kinds of mounts but I could never keep it zeroed. The plastic rail seems to work loose after a while. I do think you could keep a red dot mounted to the top rail and crank it down and probably be ok, but then you loose your ability to fold it. That being said I've never had an issue with the stock sights holding up. Besides shooting in low light I haven't had a need for a red dot.

Oh and i don't ask my wife go buy anything I just buy it, but I understand where your coming from different strokes for different folks lol. He'll buy what you want then go home and if she says something about your new gun, you look at her in the eyes and say, baby I could never obtain enough guns to protect all this beauty that I married, lol. Mcarbo takes care of all the unnecessary plastic and makes it metal trigger guard and all.

I know this video is old but when the sun2000 came out i saw it was a good idea but cheaply made. If you still have it trade it in and get a total mcarbo keltech sub2000 cost about 1050 to 1100 with all the mcarbo upgra des. 4 to 4.5 lb trigger pull, all metal internals, hardly any recoil muzzle brake/compensator and you can shoot plus p in the mcarbo version. All around better on all levels shoots as good if not better than my cmmg banshee 9mm and my dabiel defense. Mcarbo made it a go to war defend yourself carbine
