The OPEC countries cut oil production, and we have higher demand because people are trying to travel following the big lockdowns of last year. So less supply with higher demand causes increased prices. It has absolutely 0 to do with inflation.

The result of a record 6.5% inflation and its not going down soon. This combine with banning of oil leases on federal land, Biden begging for foreign oil while putting hurdles on domestic production, and shutting down pipelines. Price of oil isnt just on supply and demand alone. Inflation is always factor into the equation. You welcome. No charge on the economic lesson.

My question though is : why is it that most black Conservatives in the public sphere almost always come off as anti-black. Is it that, this anti-blackness has to be a prerequisite to being a conservative or being allowed to represent the party in a public setting? I don't understand why one can't be a black conservative who is proudly pro black and in support of CRT being taught in schools . I have a feeling these guys wake everyday loathing being born in their skin.

Just like the have coopted the terms "Woke" and "BLM" and turned them into polarizing topics. I also never said that CRT should be taught in K-12 schools either but all the same I am not against it being taught there as long as it's being tailored to the age levels appropriately. IT just seems to me that the entire topic in the eyes of the right should be outlawed and not talked about at all in any level which I find problematic. I'm an English teacher. One of the things I do when students make a claim and a paper is I I asked them to back up their claim with evidence. To provide examples that support their claim. In this interview Christian Walker was asked to provide examples for his claims about critical race theory and about black people being racist. He could not provide examples. This man is a charlatan, an idiot. Dare I say he is an embarrassment?

Gas prices were over $4 towards the end of Bush's administration in 2008, this isn't new. The housing market crash of 08 brought them back to the 1.90s. There were around 2-3.50 during Obama. The pandemic drastically lower gas prices to $1.80 in March 2020 and have been rising since. Other countries are paying $5-20 per gallon, if they can even get gas.

I don't know your education level so I'll give you an example of something we all did in high school that challenges you're claim of them teaching you to what to think. The typical research paper is a method of teaching you how to compose your own thought, make a claim, find credible experts to back up your claim. This is an exercise of developing your own thought. Same thing in a science when you practice scientific method. You make a claim or hypotheses, test and record results and find out if you were right or wrong. As a kid doing this you may not understand the reasoning but as an adult you should. If you didn't then you definitely didn't understand the assignment.
