Glad to see you got the Seat Warehouse Suspension Seat Kit. You will love it even more when you begin mowing. Makes it easier to stay on point. Be sure and put some 1/4" gasoline hose around that hole in the seat pan in order to keep your seat wire from fraying. Great video brother! Love it.
You can’t mount your suspension seat directly on the plate your suspension want work you need it raised at least half inch or 1 inch so your suspension will work correctly.
U should put flex forks on Michael. I know they are expensive but after you buy them you find out why. It not only smooths out the ride it smooths out the cut too
A suspension kit or even a suspension seat is much less expensive and doesn't change the characteristics of the mower. Flex forks on machines not designed for it often create a wavy cut.
Thanks Ronnie for taking time watching the video, Yes it is a different seat that came on it , it a better seat it was a Christmas Gift it is a Hustler seat.
Robert Stoever Thank you for taking time watching my video I made it it’s my prototype I was aiming make it look little better and more compact my welder not working right now I need get fix or replace.
Apparently Seat Warehouse (seat-warehouse.com/) has gone out of business and closed. Do you know anywhere else that has the suspension kit with seat tracks?
You can get suspension seat on eBay or Amazon but not sure about the rails maybe universal rail that fix different mowers but will work on the hustler if you can’t the rails you can use 1/2 or 1” spacers so the suspension so it will work correctly . I hope this helps and thanks for watching.
I made a pedal for my left foot, using a bike cable, to lift the chute. Handy both for tall/wet grass as well as getting through gates.

Flex forks change the geometry of the machine and give a wavy cut on bumpy ground
@@bill5552not any different that the front wheels bouncing up and down on rough terrain.
I'm always reaching down and grabbing rocks while mowing. I think you said it made the seat taller. Can you still reach down to the ground?
I keep a box or a bucket on the floor near the seat and use a grabber to pick up sticks and trash.
Did u get a new seat too? That seat looks way different then the one I have. Nice video
