- High Protein Chicken Shawarma! ONLY 390 calories - 45g protein / 35g carbs / 7g fat
You can still eat the foods you love and lose weight! These are absolutely delicious, packed with flavour and will make your weight loss journey so much more enjoyable!
Chicken marinade:
• 250g of raw chicken breast cut into strips
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• 1 tsp paprika
• 1 tsp turmeric
• 1 tsp cumin
• 1 tsp salt & pepper
• 2 tbsp tomato paste
• 1/2 lemon juice
Mix well
Cook for 3-4 mins each side on medium heat
For the fries (you will only use about 50g per wrap):
• 400g uncooked potato cut into fries
• 1 tsp cornstarch
• 1 tsp paprika
• 1 tsp black pepper
• salt (at the end after cooking)
Bake at 220C for 20 mins
For the garlic sauce:
• 3 tbsp fat free Greek yogurt
• 2 tbsp low fat mayo
• 1 tsp garlic powder or minced garlic
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/2 lemon juice
For the wrap (per wrap):
• 1 wholemeal Lebanese flatbread (112 cals per wrap - brand is Rayan or Pita Village)
• 2 tbsp garlic sauce
• Chicken pieces
• 50g of cooked fries
• Pickles
This recipe makes 2 shawarma wraps (maybe 3)
Macros per wrap
Approx 390 calories
45g protein
35g carbs
7g carbs

For the traditional lebanese garlic sauce my friend, listen carefully :
You need half a cup of water and 2 to 3 spoons of starch first, then you mixed then well and put them on low heat and keep on stirring until a gelatin mix forms ( do not stop stirring). Then add to your blender 4 to 5 cloves of garlic (the amount depends on how strong you like it) and then about 100 ml of lemon juice and finish it with half a tablespoon of salt and blend everything while adding little by little half a cup of vegetable oil (and little by little I mean it, you should see the oil like a straight thin line).

Look up how to make toum. Idk the proportions exactly, but you gotta blend garlic, olive oil and lemon juice gradually adding the ingredients

well, its pretty easy to increase the calories - increase the portion or the amount of chicken (double it or 1.5x it) and increase some of the rice

Look in the description and write it down yourself, not everyone is gonna eat the same meals everyday, just pick and choose.

@@Alteronx that doesn't mean she shops at the same stores, some products are exclusive to certain stores along with pricing as well. That would be such a pain in the ass and it would be better if you just watched videos, write down the ingredients from some videos and try them out yourself. You might like them you might not, I have made so many things and a lot of it doesn't come out seasoned well for my preference. TLDR, Plan a shopping list after picking recipes from videos.

Tomato paste not necessary. Will still taste good
You can if you have sauce or puree. Paste is just condensed tomatoe for a sharper flavor, adjust your seasonings to your liking

How is that 70g of FlatBread and maximum 100g of chicken breast do have 45g of protein? Chicken breast have 22-25grams of protein per 100g and in your video it doesn't seem to have more than 100g.

Shawarma fries are fried and not baked, you shouldn't season them also. The only purpose of fries in a chicken shawarma is to add that starchy little bite with your chicken and garlic, so please I repeat do not season your fries at all!
