21:22 Mick-" So you're hearing some sort of rhythmic thing there aren't you?" Dan-"yeah"
Proceeds to assassinate Red and burn the pedal shed to ashes. No words man. One of the most incredible things I've ever seen someone do on a guitar. Dan crossed over to the other side and was spirit walking. Holy shit.

carl i respectfully disagree, especially considering it was more or less improv’d on the spot. The inspiration Dan was feeling in that moment really came through in the performance, and i think that speaks to a lot of us.

I like the fact that for the final show at the old Pedal Shed they use 3 amps to say goodbye to everyone within a 1/4 mile of the place. Well done!

In the era of digital modeling and music with less and less guitar influence, this channel has become my refuge. The genuine friendship and way you both admire one another is the icing on the cake. While I believe modeling and profiling has its place, there’s nothing better than sitting in a room like this and letter er’ rip!

Wow, great sounds guys (well we would say that wouldn't we?!).
Just to clarify: the Binson hadn't been maintained for years - it came to us in need of total restoration (like a barn find classic Ferrari) as most of them do. The good news is, once we've completely overhauled them like the one on the show, they should run and run (with a little regular maintenance - oiling/cleaning) for the next decade or two (or three or four). They really were built to last.
As I told Dan when he visited - when I found my Baby Binson many years ago, it had been dry stored in a loft for 25 years: it fired up spluttering and popping and with a gentle shove to get the drum moving it basically ran and worked (though did need a good runthrough and set up). They are amazing - so good to hear you playing through it!

Old electronics takes alot of TLC (replacing caps, servicing mechanics etc..). Great to hear this stuff alive after many years. As I get older, I am starting to believe that "Mojo" is a real thing. You know it when you see/hear it and it hits the emotions, but it remains undefinable.

An inspired Dan is quite a thing to listen to. I can’t recall ever seeing him play finer. He took the ride. We’ve all been there, but wow! With that sound and his Tele and his eyes in the back of his head. That was a hefty schwang indeed!

TPS is all about the search for better tone for me. Ending with the best tone you guys can muster couldn't be more suiting. Good its not THE ending and the story will hopefully continue for years to come. My search for better tone is definitely not over and you guys can definitely teach me tons of more ways to improve it. I saw a great rock band yesterday. Two guitarists and a bassplayer who all used the G2 switching systems on pedalboards sized like medium aircraft carriers and they sounded awesome. I bet they would not sound as great without you. keep spreading the good tones, your philosophy and your fabulous show ! Thanks.

You’re doing a service in grand fashion; especially for those of us who have a history of accumulating gear that gets traded down the road. I’ve come to accept that what sounds good in the music store may not be so great when I get it home, and as such, just chalk it up as “part of the fun” of playing guitar. I fall in the camp of NOT tech savvy and your show definitely helps players like me. Thank you.

Awesome!! My "poor man's" way of getting nice wet/dry sound is: guitar to drive/comp/boost pedals to super champ x2, then it goes to torpedo captor loadbox and splits, normal speaker output with 20db att to the combo's speaker for dry tone, xlr output from the captor goes to xlr imput of pod hd500x for stereo reverb delay and modulations and then straight to monitors (with captors analog speaker sim), or to computer with wall of sound plugin and then to monitors. SOUNDS GREAT (at least at my apartment) :)

Dan and Mick, what a great show. I’ve been playing about 18 months and suck as I don’t practise nearly enough but before I bought my first guitar I was hooked on TPS and Andertons channel. I’ve learnt all I know from mainly these two channels. Your show is a treasure chest of information and passion. I was waiting for this episode yesterday and what a show this was. I was laughing with you guys and sharing your unbridled joy and love for what you were doing. I am sure everyone else was also. Many many thanks for the weekly treat your show is. Dan seriously needs to build a song around those riffs (and that tone) and release it. I'll buy it!

This is my favorite moment of any episode they have done. Dan was in the zone.

ReiCow that section was INSANELY exciting - astonishing tone and playing. Section on a loop. With wine. Happy days (and nights)

+stevieboy444 ah, thanks so much Stevie, when you connect with a sound in this way it can be amazing what it will draw out of you

You guys are so complementary and symbiotic. Mickey you’re such a wonderful guitar player (especially when Dan dials you in for a tone).

Doc Holiday I was inspired! The way you could see they were moved by the sound that was coming out and how they were continually speechless made me feel like I wanted to cry! When they got carried away playing, oh man! That's not something you see everyday!

Sure, I kinda already knew what you were saying with that but I was just messin' with you:P But yeah, you're right, just imagine what the sound must have been like, actually being there in the room

What a segue into the new digs!! I think you did The Shed justice. Best of luck this week with the move. If you get a chance, I need some advice. I am on my way to pick up a 1968 Fender Bassman head in the morning. I am using a Mesa Boogie Transatlantic 15 into the matching 112 cab on the left, Boss Katana 100 into an Egnater/Guitar Warehouse 112 on the right, the Fender Bassman will be matched with an Allen Organ Gyrophonic rotary 212 cabinet in the center. I am currently running a wet/dry, with an ABYBaby, Katana and Mesa Boogie. Would I be better off with another ABYBaby, or the Humdinger to setup a Wet/Dry/Wet?

That is my set up. I split a stereo chorus, barely any effect to the dry center two amps, and two separate stereo signals to the two wet amps/cabs, two on either side of the dry stereo.... I get the neighbors asking me to turn it down from time to time.. One neighbor was two streets over... But , really such an unreal sound experience...

From halfway around the world, (Portland, Oregon, USA) the sound of That Pedal Shed being blown to splinters is still echoing (with infinite repeats) in my ears! Thank you both for being my "Friday treat" and can't wait to see/hear you in your new space. Cheers! 💥🎸💥
