Just went through this. Neighbor didn't wanna wait for the axial to be in stock. Bought an enduro.... great little truck. Bigger wheels is all it needs.
You convinced me to get a TRX4 yesterday, already found a construction site and took it mudding. Love the vids keep it up.

I have the Axial SCX24 C10 and if you can't get or afford a good charger you can use the changer that it comes with, but don't plug it into a high amperage USB port. Most USB ports put out at least 500ma or higher and this is the problem. To fix this I just use a 100ma AC wall adapter and I have had no problems with my lipo. That being said you should always charge your batteries in a lipo bag and away from anything that is flammable. Thanks for the video!

I love your videos, and i love that the 1/24 scale offerings are growing, even with copies. I have always wanted to get into rc crawling, but it has always been too expensive for me to prioritize- now i got an scx24 for myself, and my wife and i have so much fun sharing it in the living room that i just got her a hobby plus cr24, which i believe is a downgraded version of this truck- and if she uses it enough, ill upgrade it to the v2 level.
I hope that the market continues to grow for the 1/24 scalers and i hope that you can do more videos! Also, i like that you usually have stock examples to compare to, because although i like to do small mods, i always like to compare performance stock to stock when im shopping. Keep up the good work and ill be using your link in the future. Never stop doing honest pro's and cons! 💪🏻

Nice comparison, especially liked having the modded one in they for reference too. Thanks! You’re probably right in saying it’s best not to use the cheapo included charger, but if you are going to, don’t use an IPhone or other high output usb socket. Use a 1.2amp or less port
I pre ordered one of these when you did the first video. It may be a rebrand with some tweaks but I like it!! Keep up the great work and the great videos coming. Any plans on an upgrades/mods video?

I just got a Axial Deadbolt , super fun to work on but I was surprised at how trash the suspension and servo were. I replaced those and added wheel weights. It's ten times better now and Im still shopping tires. Out the box, the enduro looked a helluva lot better than my Deadbolt.

RC Review isn’t that one of ur friends tho? I might be wrong? I kinda meant if u guys got one and did a few videos on it and how to upgrade and what to upgrade... that sort of thing. Either way love ur stuff. Appreciate what u guys are doing and keep up the great work.
I suffer from seizures and had a minor one from the lights on the element during the 10 minute + area of this video. Had to stop there. They are easily triggered by strobe lighting. You should put a warning in this video. Very uncool.
I have both axial scx24 the chevy c10 and jeep.. both have good angle climb on wood because of the worm drive.. the jeep with the bigger tyres is more bouncy than the chevy small ones..
I like the element it is slightly cheaper but its double usa price 200 for element. 220 and above for axial. Kyosho mini z is even more.. ..

Oh, i also wanted to mention that is they made this enduro with the same color scheme as their 1/10 scale i would have gotten it, maybe even instead of my blue c10. I LOVE the body color and wheel color on the 1/10 scale, but HATE the body color on the 1/24th.

Gotta say, the Enduro's performance surprised me esp running only at 1s. Yeah, the axial charger was trash. I broke the usb connector off after a week. The lipo that came with it also wasn't very good. I over discharged it and couldn't charge it back up. The lvc didn't work for some reason.
So is the c10 version of the scx better than the jeep version? Also which one is the best.

Thanks for the review. Ive been looking into the gelande 2 1/18 but I want to know your opinion. I just got the trx-4 defender and I am loving it but i’d like a micro to trail with as well.
I bought a 1/18 Gelande II and was extremely disappointed. I shipped it back the same day I got it.

onemanarmy choppy acceleration, poor steering radius and weak servo, hard to get the body on and off, body barley fits with battery installed and a few other things. I love my TF2 and I know RC4WD rigs have there limitations, but with the 1/18 Gelande it was unacceptable, especially for $200 bucks. Maybe I got one with bad electronics 🤷🏻♂️ I took my $200 refund and got the Mini Z 4x4 instead, and I love it. I think it looks nicer, performs better, AND it works!!
Rene C I think I am going to wait until I see one in person. I didn’t go with the mini z because from what I know about the normal mini’s, they arent exactly the most hobby grade looking rc’s for the money. When it comes to performance and the fact that the stock battery has trouble I would still go with the gelande for a shelf queen. If i put in a little money to fix it up I assumed the mini 4x4 would be more limited comparatively and a little more toy like.
Just getting into this hobby and I think imma start with a 1/24 before I get a bigger one

I didn't want to wait for the enduro24, and once I realized it was a rgt v2, I just went ahead and got the black defender version. I love that it mimics my defender trx4. After removing the rear tire, tucking the rear bumper and moving the battery (velcro) to the back of the receiver up front, its a very close competitor to my scx24. Both are a ton of fun. I love my Associated/Element rigs, but I did feel like this guy was a bit of a cop out from their design department. I also can't stand the "loud" design.
Yes, same chassis. You can also get a different body later for higher performance
@@RCReviewChannel I've also read quite a bit on removing the clunky esc/receiver combo and using a micro esc along with a small 2s. With the larger motor on 2s (and the ability to bind to your preferred transmitter), I bet it'll give the scx24 a real run for its money outside of the higher clearance variables. I'm my opinion for a hundred bucks, get a danchee ridgerock. 1/10 scale. The only reason I can see buying one of these would be from the link in the video just to support this channel. I Love the channel, not the truck. Lets be honest crawling is an outdoor activity and 10th scale would be as small as I would go.
I disagree- my wife and i make EPIC courses in the living room and have TONS of fun after we put the kids to bed- i crawl inside and out, crawling is crawling- and 1/24 is more practical for numerous reasons

Well if you haven't tried them then dont bash em. I have 2 trx4, a gen8, 2 scx10ii and 2 ecx barrages and I drive my little scx24 way more than all of them even outside lol the axial scx24 is insanely capable for a 24th scale and not to mention after you put some upgrades on it which are dirt cheap because everything is tiny. I would be perfectly fine selling my 10th scales and only having the 24, yes they are that much fun.
Having both, the SCX24 is the one to go for if you want to rock crawl. The Enduro chassis looks cool, but the bottom line is that it just cannot keep up with the Axial out of the box. For one, the Enduro steering servo layout sucks - the chassis mounted steering servo will induce a torque into the front axle that will tilt the entire body into a lean when it bottoms out or the front wheels push against something while turning. I thought at first it was a mis-installed battery or a hung up connector inside, but nope. Two, the tires are too small in diameter causing it to scrape the diff housings on anything taller than an ant. If there were upgrades available for this thing - you would end up with something that looks like the scx24 :-(
What is the Enduro good for? The chassis layout is perfect for that 1/24th scale plastic model kit you've always wanted to convert into R/C. It will allow you to retain the cab interior detail. Mine is destined to become a 1976 Chevy stepside pickup soon. I'm planning on getting a second chassis to turn into a Baja Bronco.

the element 24 is to slow for me too , so im converting it to 2s lipo . since it can run 2 s lipo, done seen it , and eletronics have no problem with 2s lipo neather does the motor.

Orion yea man but everyone is expecting these guys to perform like 1:1 or sum. Everyone’s expectations for a 1/24th crawler are wayyy to high. Everyone wants to compare a bone stock rc compared to a heavily modded 24. I like my little guy, think I’ll get him

Raguvian whay my buddy said he did was put the esc/rx from the axial 24 in the element. With the 2s lipo connected to the stock element24 motor it was heating up supposedly. I guess it eventually got so hot it cause the axial24 esc/rx to go out I think I sadly don’t have a 2s lipo small enough to fit in the puppy or I’d try it myself. Seen another video out there where the guy said he snapped a driveshaft with a 2s hooked to the element24 esc/rx so best of luck. Don’t knock this guy into the water completely yet. He’s still a capable little sucker!

I don’t get the hype the element enduro24 is literally a Rgt adventurer v2 with a little longer wheel base/links and different body/bumpers. Definitely not even close to the scx24 in performance but not the worst ether and 2s lipos makes a big difference in power. Cog isn’t a whole lot different ether but the enduro24 will climb a bit steeper because of the longer wheelbase. ✌️😄

At 11:10 where did the yellow jeep go lol? 2 white scx24 with a lot bigger tires show up. If you give 2 guys $150 to spend on 1/24 crawlers the guy who went Enduro24 will win all day.
great information but respectfully every battery can catch fire even from a smart charger. thats why they sell 10 dollar fire safe battery charging bags to put it in whale it charges.
But the tires on the enduro24 is also scaled....they’re 33s
I feel like this comparison isn't fair. How can you compare two complete different chassis setups. A forward mounted and CMS against a worm ring differential and axle mounted servo. Who cares if its rebranded. It eliminates having to buy one from China and wait 3 to 4 weeks for it to show up.
You can compare them because they are two directly competing items that people regularly cross shop and use for the exact same purposes

i like the little Element eduro 24 , but if it never has no upgrades out for it , then i just wasted my money buying the little element 24 Eduro.

Yeah the Enduro is absolute garbage. It’s ok in stock form but won’t really go anywhere. As soon as you slap a 2s in it and some bigger tires things start to break. Driveshafts pop off the output and my front dog bone has already broke as well. DONT BUY! Get the axial. It can handle real crawling,mods and looks 1000 times better 😂
Fwiw metal driveshafts etc are available CHEAP for the enduro, and people are running them with double motors and stuff. The enduro is a good crawler stock, and can be modified as far as i can tell nearly just as far as the scx24. With that said, i DO still prefer my scx, but if you are looking for parts cheap for your enduro look for the cr24 upgrades on banggood- i hope it helps!

Just buy the SCX24. In comparison this one is junk. All of this was my experience and opinion.
The bad:
-Weak 1S joke of a battery
-Weak badly modulating ESC
-Tiny useless tires
-Huge diffs
-Toy grade suspension links
-Fragile plastic driveshafts
-Toy grade shocks
-Bushings instead of bearings everywhere.
The good:
-Forward mounted motor
-Motor and servos can be swapped out easily with proper components.
-It’s cheap and you won’t feel too bad if you mess it up trying to modify it.
The “Meh”:
-Generic body
-Light system
-Generic bumper.
*With heavy modification this can be turned into a fantastic crawler but it takes a lot of SCX24 parts. It will have massive torque but will be slow if you swap to SCX24 axles. Stock sucks. Heavily modified it becomes awesome if you do it right. I love mine but it is in no way like it was when it was stock.
Side note: Tiny tires does not make this truck scale. They just make it not perform. The body is generic. It is not a scale representation of anything. It’s based off of noting. -Not that I care.
