@@evalirova the thing that immediately gave it away to me, was when she started with a "Hello" instead of her usual greeting, which then was rather hesitantly followed up, all that while sounding sad/unhappy - which foreshadowed to me that it wasn't going to be a good announcement. Sadly I'm only able to watch her VODs, but still the short amount of time I was able to watch her I definitely did enjoy her streams even when I couldn't participate. I absolutely hope she eventually will return once more, even if it isn't in the same form.
Something is changing in 2025, I don't know what it is but its big enough to have multiple talents from holostars and hololive to either go on a long break or straight up leave. This graduation is the FIRST graduation that actually hits me hard and I have been watching hololive since 2019. Yeah, It genuinely baffles me as fauna is the one I least expected to graduate. The other member's graduation is something I could've seen, from the declining viewership to the lack of streams but in fauna's case, she's consistent and and seem to be racking up views. Makes me question how bad the management is for her to leave at her rise

Hololive while obviously helping growth is still pretty demanding and it seems like they are not giving enough to keep their talents. With the success of other corporate Vtubers like Doki, Mint and Dooby in becoming independent and still retaining their community it has weakened the reason to stay in a company.

I've been following Fauna from Japan, even though I'm not good enough at English to understand everything Fauna says in videos. It took a lot longer than english speakers for me to watch Fauna’s videos because I was looking up english words I didn't know, but still I kept watching --- just because I really enjoyed Fauna's talks, humors and kindness. It was only Fauna I did this and it's such a big pity that Fauna is graduating, but I really thank you for all of your fantastic works and I wish you fortune and happiness forever. I hope I see Fauna again in anyway in any character, name or persona in future in the way Fauna enjoys and feels happy🎉

It's interesting that vtubers are helping with proper language learning. I've seen this particular channel many times but have only clicked now since I'm not a vtuber fan and only watch their retirement announcements for some odd reason. I never thought about how they're viewed internationally by so many people. From my understanding of vtubers the person behind the characters come back on occasion but with a different persona. If this one chooses to do that I wish them good luck and happy trails.
I'm from Brazil and after discover hololive because a clip of among us collab of the jp holomembers, my life change forever, in this moment i was really in the jp members for a time until i discover the en branch, which was half-year after the debut. At that time I was a little used to English because I preferred to watch American series and movies with subtitles, but after Hololive I quickly learned to understand English, because I really loved all the Holomyth vtubers and the Irys and Council's debut was a really especial memory because it was the first live debut i ever watched, I will always be grateful for the entertainment and happiness that Hololive brought me and will bring me in the future.

Policies and whatever changes all the time and it is especially prevalent to a company with a blooming and still ever growing industry. To then not agree with the company's policies anymore because mindset and whatnot doesn't align is just as easy as waiting for the contract to end and not resign, hence a graduation. It's an entertainment business, not some sort of entity that would hold forever. it is sad, sure, but don't just support Ceres Fauna, support the person that is behind Ceres Fauna also.

Fauna is my number 1 oshi in hololive I wouldn't go as far as to say that she saved me from depression, but she helped me get back up on my feet and make the decision to start anew. Seeing her go hurts, but I will be supporting Fauna on her future endeavors, whatever they may be. Edit: I just realized that I made a few grammatical errors due to the emotional state I was in, but I'm glad that my point got across and resonated with my fellow saplings. Let's support Fauna not just until the end, but also after her graduation. We still have a month left, so let's make the best out of it and send off Fauna with a smile on our faces.

First graduation that really hits like a truck for me. I've been loving the streams ever since I found you months ago through clips and they've become my favourite entertainment since then, even if I can usually only watch the vods. COUNCIL IS A BIG DEAL at least for holoEN. that's why... now council is just 3. with promise it's 4... council is so important in hololive lore too. but they still not yet to make story about council in the form of comic or the game. fans need to make it into lore. but fans cant because we lack of sources. it's not gonna be the canon lore of early hololive universe... we lost the element of space and holoearth's nature. it's big deal to hololive lore. out of all the five, I thought it gonna be mumei the first to announce her retirement and I'm kinda ready to hear her announcement. but no.. it's fauna today. fauna the most active one these days. like in the past year. since early 2024. when bae, kronii, mumei not that often to stream. especially mumei.. guess the hololive world tree gonna be finished soon, eh?? in this december.

I disagree wholeheartedly. Fauna may be the creator who introduced me to ASMR and my favorite person to do it, but she has only done 2 ASMRs all year. Leaving due to a disagreement with her management hardly feels like a noble grounds to undercut all the effort those other ASMRtists have put in

I took a break from vtubers for 2 months and I just came back and see this. This hit me harder then I thought it would. I've watched Fauna since she started and I'm gonna miss her when she's gone. I don't want her to leave, but I accept her choice. I hope that she'll keep streaming under her own thing and if she does I'm there. But I guess it's time to catch up on what I missed and enjoy Fauna's content while I still can. We love you Fauna and I wish you the best in whatever you decide to do in the future.

I've always been a bit reserved in here. Sometimes I talk in chat, sometimes I comment, but I never really interacted with the community at large. I now realise how much I regret it. I've been a sapling since day 1, and I am so much more devastated than I thought I would be. From the days of Not Pickle to the Getting Over It arc, to CouncilRyS RPG, to FaunaMart and Pikmin, and many other games and series, this little corner in the forest has been a place of comfort for me and many other saplings for the past 3 years. I want to bring special attention to the Deltarune streams, as those are the streams I treasure the most. Fauna was so excited about the game and watching her play it reminded me of how much I love it as well. Council and Promise mean a lot to me, and Fauna is a large part of that. I'm proud of you for deciding to go your own path, Fauna. We'll support you this last month and we'll keep supporting you beyond that! 💚💚💚

A sour and bitter taste fills my mouth knowing that seeing you perform live in NYC would be the first and only time I saw you perform live... I may be a devotee to the Lady of Time, Miss Death, and the Sound Demoness... But Council was always a safe spot for me... And now with your departure... Within my birthmonth to make it even more difficult... I can only say what a true sampling would say... I don't really ever comment or chat and instead always just lurk. Not this time. I remember when I first fell into the rabbit hole some 2 years ago, I "tried to find" an oshi since it just seemed like a logical thing to do. I couldn't. No one clearly clicked more than the others but somewhere along the way I noticed I had started gravitating towards you and found myself pretty much melting into my chair thanks to your comfy, fun vibes and similar taste in games. I started a second playthrough of Getting Over It - having beaten it near its launch - after watching you coach Mumei and ended up playing it a bunch. Now my PB is 3m 16s. I used to play all the Hitman games too but dropped it after Absolution since I didn't like the way the series seemed to be going with that. After watching you play World of Assassination for a bit, I thought it looked really fun and I kid you not, the game went on sale for 50% off the very next day. And so I got back into one of my favorite game franchises thanks to you. Then there was the Outer Wilds let's play. I can't tell you how excited I was to see that appear on my feed. It's probably my favorite game of all time and watching you play it became a daily routine when winding down and getting ready for bed. I'm still hoping that even if we don't get another let's play/stream for Echoes of the Eye, you'll at least play it in your own time. It's so god damn good. I'm glad I found you. @@evalirova the thing that immediately gave it away to me, was when she started with a "Hello" instead of her usual greeting, which then was rather hesitantly followed up, all that while sounding sad/unhappy - which foreshadowed to me that it wasn't going to be a good announcement.
Sadly I'm only able to watch her VODs, but still the short amount of time I was able to watch her I definitely did enjoy her streams even when I couldn't participate.

Yeah, It genuinely baffles me as fauna is the one I least expected to graduate. The other member's graduation is something I could've seen, from the declining viewership to the lack of streams but in fauna's case, she's consistent and and seem to be racking up views. Hololive while obviously helping growth is still pretty demanding and it seems like they are not giving enough to keep their talents. With the success of other corporate Vtubers like Doki, Mint and Dooby in becoming independent and still retaining their community it has weakened the reason to stay in a company.

I've been following Fauna from Japan, even though I'm not good enough at English to understand everything Fauna says in videos. It took a lot longer than english speakers for me to watch Fauna’s videos because I was looking up english words I didn't know, but still I kept watching --- just because I really enjoyed Fauna's talks, humors and kindness. It was only Fauna I did this and it's such a big pity that Fauna is graduating, but I really thank you for all of your fantastic works and I wish you fortune and happiness forever. It's interesting that vtubers are helping with proper language learning. I've seen this particular channel many times but have only clicked now since I'm not a vtuber fan and only watch their retirement announcements for some odd reason. I never thought about how they're viewed internationally by so many people. From my understanding of vtubers the person behind the characters come back on occasion but with a different persona. If this one chooses to do that I wish them good luck and happy trails.
I'm from Brazil and after discover hololive because a clip of among us collab of the jp holomembers, my life change forever, in this moment i was really in the jp members for a time until i discover the en branch, which was half-year after the debut. At that time I was a little used to English because I preferred to watch American series and movies with subtitles, but after Hololive I quickly learned to understand English, because I really loved all the Holomyth vtubers and the Irys and Council's debut was a really especial memory because it was the first live debut i ever watched, I will always be grateful for the entertainment and happiness that Hololive brought me and will bring me in the future.

Policies and whatever changes all the time and it is especially prevalent to a company with a blooming and still ever growing industry. To then not agree with the company's policies anymore because mindset and whatnot doesn't align is just as easy as waiting for the contract to end and not resign, hence a graduation.
It's an entertainment business, not some sort of entity that would hold forever. it is sad, sure, but don't just support Ceres Fauna, support the person that is behind Ceres Fauna also.

I've always been a bit reserved in here. Sometimes I talk in chat, sometimes I comment, but I never really interacted with the community at large. I now realise how much I regret it. I've been a sapling since day 1, and I am so much more devastated than I thought I would be.
From the days of Not Pickle to the Getting Over It arc, to CouncilRyS RPG, to FaunaMart and Pikmin, and many other games and series, this little corner in the forest has been a place of comfort for me and many other saplings for the past 3 years. I want to bring special attention to the Deltarune streams, as those are the streams I treasure the most. Fauna was so excited about the game and watching her play it reminded me of how much I love it as well.
Council and Promise mean a lot to me, and Fauna is a large part of that.

I remember when I first fell into the rabbit hole some 2 years ago, I "tried to find" an oshi since it just seemed like a logical thing to do. I couldn't. No one clearly clicked more than the others but somewhere along the way I noticed I had started gravitating towards you and found myself pretty much melting into my chair thanks to your comfy, fun vibes and similar taste in games.
I started a second playthrough of Getting Over It - having beaten it near its launch - after watching you coach Mumei and ended up playing it a bunch. Now my PB is 3m 16s.
I used to play all the Hitman games too but dropped it after Absolution since I didn't like the way the series seemed to be going with that. After watching you play World of Assassination for a bit, I thought it looked really fun and I kid you not, the game went on sale for 50% off the very next day. And so I got back into one of my favorite game franchises thanks to you.
Then there was the Outer Wilds let's play. I can't tell you how excited I was to see that appear on my feed. It's probably my favorite game of all time and watching you play it became a daily routine when winding down and getting ready for bed. I'm still hoping that even if we don't get another let's play/stream for Echoes of the Eye, you'll at least play it in your own time. It's so god damn good.

I'm keeping it simple since I usually mince words. Hadn't watched you consistently before or any other vtubers, for that matter. But it still hit me like a truck when I saw your announcement. In some ways, I still feel like a deer in headlights. I could see in clips how well you interacted with your friends in hololive and how well you fit in. You brought smiles to their faces and brightened everyone's days. I truly regret not being there along with the other saplings at the beginning. But what I would've regretted even more was not being alongside you and everyone else until the end. From now until graduation and beyond that day, I'll catch up and stay caught up with your legacy. Though I don't feel like I've earned it, there is one thing I want you all to know.
