- In over four years of content, Genshin’s story and lore has only grown and grown and grown in size, so, it’s no wonder that a lot of people, even those who actually try to pay attention to the story, gets confused over certain Teyvatian facts, or just straight up misunderstands them.
So, I’ll be rectifying some of the more obvious ones that I’ve seen people float around in this video :D

I think most players are still confused about the difference between the Abyss Order and Abyss itself
This is a big misconception.
Right?
Abyss order = an extremist, Khaenri'ah-aligned faction that predominantly recruits/employs former Khaenri'ahn humans and abyssal creatures that hate the heavens and want to restore Khaenri'ah (more or less)
Abyss = an entity (or a group of species, a force of nature) doesn't really hate, bent on death and destruction of like everything - corruption incarnate.
There's a difference???

@@fuzyfuzfuz2 From what I understand, there is the Abyss, which is like cosmic malevolent force of chaos and decay. And then there is the Abyss Order, which is a faction that worships the abyss and believes its power can help them overthrow the gods and restore Khanrieh. But not all of the Abyss followers are part of the Abyss Order either. That said, the Abyss is corrupting and causes madness, so the Abyss may have some control over the Abyss Order.
Another misconception is that people aren’t helping us find the sibling. Granted their help hasn’t been super effective, I think most people miss that Amber put up posters and let the guards know you are looking for a blond outlander. This tip pays off because they do tell you about a blond traveler in town, but the turns out to be Dainslief not the sibling. But meeting Dainslief was an important step to finding the sibling.
And after Keqing learns that the Traveler wanted that help, she says she would've done that sooner had the Traveler asked her to do it (and there are missing posters put up around Liyue after the Archon Quest).
Early on they do help us find our sibling, you can even find posters in Mondstadt and Liyue about a description of our Siblings. I think that after we meet our sibling that we stopped asking for it, but I haven't been actively seeking any posters.

The fact that the ENTIRE Hexenzirkel thought it necessary to face Venti TOGETHER. Dude must be pretty badass.

Fischl was so pissed at Mona that she broke character.
Not a misconception, but an interesting fact. Of all the weekly bosses the only one we can actually fight every week for real is Andrius. All others are just MC reliving the memories of past battles (and still somehow getting tangible material drops from imaginary fights). Andrius is also the only weekly boss without a domain. We fight him in an open world arena. Feels like he was meant to be a world boss at some point, but then got promoted to a weekly boss. Even in the battle pass he is mentioned separately in the task where you need to defeat a weekly boss or Andrius 3 times per week.
Speaking of weekly bosses - IIRC Dvalin is the only one who cannot be fought in coop. He's also the jankiest weekly boss. Don't bring new characters there - chances are they wouldn't work right. Fixed camera makes it almost impossible to aim Neuvilette's water stream properly, for example.
Andrius got nothin better to do, might as well entertain the old fart every now and then xD
Oh yeah, dvalin with new characters is a pain. Arlecchino's mark isn't consumed with a charge attack, chasca's charged E also doesn't work... I have to burst out my old guard whenever I feel like doing Dvalin
If you take Mavuika in there you can use the bike to go from platform to platform which is silly

It would be easier for you to explain Furina this way:

Focalors is the divinity
Furina is the body and soul
It's literally same case like christian Holy Trinity
Furina is kinda (but not exactly) like Segment of Focalors if we compere the situation to Dettore. We dont 'really' know how Dettore does it but if its the power related to Heavenly Princples (Logos and control over memory data via Irminsul frame and promordial energy) it would make sense.
But anways, you are right.

Foscalor is an Oceanid she's literally made of water (btw this is literally the Rukhadevata Nahida thing but Furina doesn't have power and no Nahida isn't the child nor a clone of Rukhadevata she's more like an extension of her a reincarnation if you will)

I believe that one of the biggest misconceptions is why do people gain visions, like the tipical "anemo is for people who lost someone important". If it actually were that case, half of the characters in the game would be anemo
Biggest example would be Diluc when he lost his father

6:27 the number of times I hear “Furina was never the archon” or “Furina never held the gnosis!” She’s the original archon body just striped of her memory, power, and divinity she is still technically the original archon just depowered.
Well not the original Hydro Archon, that would be Egeria. Furina is still the same Archon Focalors, not some brand new Archon. The difference would be is Furina is the person body and soul while the divinity and memories were still with Focalors.
That still doesn't make her a Arcon though. I you lose your power memories and emotions or being stripped. Then you never were an arcon. The moment furina became furina she was not an arcon
@@hyperscalerafsan8913 I think in the story Furina was accused of never being the archon in the first place, meaning that she had never been a archon before or had any remote connections to an archon. I think that to be considered an archon you need to be given a gnosis (that has the power of one of the dragon sovereigns inside) by Celestia. But this is just what I think, I could be completely wrong though.
@NikaZareey-og4mh From the natlan story we learned that anyone could be an Arcon as long as you ascended to archonhood. The character Furina herself never did that thus another reason why she herself is not an arcon
Furina is just like Ei's puppet in simpler terms, but because of what she's done, and been through, like Ei, Zhongli, and Venti have said, she is worthy to be called an Archon. Despite directly not having Focalors' powers and Archonhood, I mean, she's still Focalors' Human "body" as she separates her divinity, I'd say she's still pretty much divine, being made by the divine.
TDLR: Would still consider her as an archon.

Most misconceptions come from not reading/ listening to the story. It’s like tcg players who don’t read the cards!
About Chiori, it's very interesting that she got her vision AFTER she moved from Inazuma, and her vision is still from Inazuma. This strongly suggests that the vision origins and "frame" are linked to where the character was born and not where they were when they got the vision. And from that there's an interesting subtext that Wanderer was born in Sumeru, he was "made" in Inazuma, but only "born", or "given life" in Sumeru and I think that's kinda neat.
She got her Vision just RIGHT before moving from Inazuma. Literally the day before she left for Fontaine.
"As Chiori returned to her room to pack her things, the items on her table suddenly shifted, startling her.
"Tamoto" slowly turned in circles, as though showing off the clothes Chiori had made for her, before happily floating over to Chiori- and in the puppet's outstretched hands was a brilliant Vision."
While yes, the whole Vision region origin is probably linked to what the person receiving it counts as their "home" or something like that, since Thoma was born in Mond, but he has an Inazuman Vision. It's just not Chiori's case :P

7:10 I noticed this gets brought up a lot of people wanting Furina to get an apology from the whole nation.
I’ve always seen it as an allegory: Furina represents the government, and when the people of Fontaine accuse her directly, they’re actually accusing the government itself. After all, in real life, we don’t perceive the government as a single living being but rather as a parental figure meant to protect us, when that parental figure fails and people literally die people won’t try to understand their government’s intention, they'll rise up against it. You wouldn't apologise to your goverment after they turn the tide and save everybody because thats what is expected of them, what is expected from f Furina.
I wasn't really looking for an apology. Just some acknowledgement that nothing had been within Furina's control. Even Navia, who should know a bit about just what it is that Furina went through, still talks as if Furina messed up big time along the way. Only Neuvillette showed any bit of remorse (rightfully so), and they gave him very little time in her SQ.
The difference in your allegory of Furina being IRL government, is that IRL governments actually has the power to atleast try to circumvent things in terms of the problems that they face. Furina didn't. She had no tools against the prophecy, cause Focalors didn't give her any. If Focalors had been the one in Furina's shoes, then yes, I would agree with that government comparison, but there was really nothing Furina can do. People can be mad at Focalors, go ahead, but Furina was the one keeping her shit together for 500 years when the odds were always against her.
@@GoatLiffy I understand! The allegory I mentioned comes from the citizens perspective mostly. That said I do agree with you that some of the SQ writing was a bit iffy however I still believe Furina was expectionally well written in the archon quest (probably the best tbh)

@@mossquire Yeah the official story is that Furina sacrificed her Archon power to save the country. The whole 500 years of suffering is only known by Neuvillette and us.
I think, the reason why people think Ningguang is the Qixing leader is because she owns A HUGE F***ING CASTLE FLOATING IN THE SKY! Oh, and also because she ordered other characters during archon quest, but mainly it's the castle
I think the misconceptions about the characters came to mind first because they're the ones that many in the fandom will constantly repeat.
(Long essay ahead)
Like another misonception of Mona is about the Fake Sky and the Unreconciled Stars event. The fandom jokes that she'd be shocked or her career would be "ruined" if she found out. THE TRUTH is that in URS, Mona was already told of the theory that the sky was fake long before she met Scaramouche. Scaramouche just provided her proof that there was more to it than just a theory.
Speaking of Scaramouche, he's covered in misconceptions. A common one I see is that he was tricked into joining the Fatui. This isn't true at all. The Interlude and Pale Flame goblet tells us that Scara met the Fatui in Inazuma, thought they were amusing, and essentially went "screw it, I can do whatever I want and I want to have fun with these guys." That is just the tip of the "Misconceptions About Scaramouche" iceberg.
There's also the misonceptions about Childe's morality, Mavuika's intent and her plans, Xiao and his "emoness" (partially cause of the English ver. playing it up), Ayaka being a "yandere", how much Kaveh and Alhaithem "hate" each other (also partly the English ver. fault), and so on and so forth.
Anyway- I can keep rambling forever about this. Good video! If you do one about the story/lore, I think a good one is how Irminsul erasure works. I still see people misunderstand Irminsul "erasing" as an actual timeline reset where everything starts over and different events played out.
Like this one video where the critic thought that Rukkhadevata erasing her existence meant that Nahida's trauma never happened and her development was rendered non-existent.
When how it actually works is that Irminsul just "deletes" how everyone percieved you BUT you are still present and the things you did still happened. Irminsul just fills in the gaps by inserting new memories and creating new stories. It can't, however, replace the emotions felt.
So Nahida still has her admiration and love for Rukkhadevata. She was still driven to be like her predecessor. She just doesn't remember who Rukkhadevata is anymore.
And with Scara, his crimes as a Harbinger are still his crimes, but no one remembers it was him. And he was still the 6th Harbinger, but no one remembers he was and instead say that the seat was empty for centuries.
The timeline wasn't reset and nothing was changed. It's just that all perceptions and verbal stories about Rukkhadevata and Scaramouche were removed and replaced.
Oh dear I think I know who the "critic" you mention about Nahida and her deleting Rukkha

In regards to Furina's quest not acknowledging the stuff Furina did.
Imagine, your family has lived for generations and they have seen the "Hydro Archon" as the true symbol of justice in Fontaine, a promise to stop the flood that will wipe out all life, but when push comes to shove, not only does she possess no power beyond her long lifespan, she doesn't know how the OMdAC works, and what other things she lied about.
Most people would feel betrayed, lied to, confused, and Furina has no way to refute that so it must be true.
So then comes the prophecy, and who ends up saving them? Neuvillette, Wriothesley, any and all Fatui, and Furina is still left as a traitor whose poor judgment DID cause some harm to some people beyond any prophecy.
Even if Neuvillette tells the truth about Furina, aside from those skeptics, some would still feel wounded if they've been wrongly judged by Furina or Fontaine's ridiculous laws.
But, there is a silver lining.
Furina is still a known and respected actress, that's the one true part of her people know as true and value a lot.
Reconnecting with her passion for the arts (even if she's just directing and not acting for most of it) is a good way to heal not just Furina's wounds, but for the people of the world to see the one true Furina.
I speak as one who loves Natlan with all my heart, and is my personal favorite arc in Genshin to date.
I can admit Fontaine is top 3 arc material and can accept if people think it's the best, even if I personally like Natlan more.

One highly persistent misconception that drives me completely nuts is that Kazuha wears the bandages on his hand because his friend's Vision going out burned him. No, it didn't, the bandages are for grip strength on his sword. The fire around the Vision was a METAPHOR for the light of his friend's soul never going out, he uses those exact words when he's telling us the story.

She was unkillable though. Focalor placed a curse on her to be immortal as long as she lived. She just didn't know it because Focalor didn't tell her. Still those near death experiences gave her trauma but she was immortal so she couldn't die at the time. She is no longer under the curse so she can die now.
What Arle did to her actually would've killed a normal person, a gnosis is what you'd call "the heart of an archon" And where would you check an archon if you had the chance? By ripping out their heart of course, Venti got the treatment, so Furina probably experienced that. So to be exact, those were not "near death" Experience but death itself if she was normal.

The difference in power between gameplay and lore always breaks immersion for me. Cause i know even if i delete the boss health bar in 10 seconds, the cutscene will still show me losing. So i just ignore it and dont care about the story when that happens.

How I felt with that bug boss from Star Rail. If I was gonna lose anyway in the cutscene, then what's the point of winning in gameplay?
More facts:
1. Neuvillette is no older than 500 years old. The hydro sovereign was prophesized to be yet reborn during Orobaxl's era, and he was the cause for the hydro sovereign being reborn as a human. Orobaxl existed before the archon war and lived until he was slain by Ei past the archon war, before Khaenriah. There is also no information about the hydro sovereigns role in the cataclysm, which would be significant because of its scale and his power that could've affected the tide of war. He has never met Egeria, nor has he even seen Focalors before and he is likely to be even younger than Furina. The misconception that he is way older comes from his title as a sovereign and his own knowledge. However, he knows ancient knowledge not because of his age but because he inherits/sees the memories.
2. Ei is stronger than Makoto. This is generally common knowledge but to this day, some people think that just because Ei is the successor means Makoto was more combat-capable, when in reality it was Ei that did almost all the carnage. Makoto's sword was literally a symbol of peace because it hasn't been used nor sharpened. Also, Ei does share the memories too that Zhongli was talking about. She was there with Makoto when the archons hung out.
3. Now that elemental authority taken from sovereigns has been considered into the lore, it is important to state that the power of the archons DOES NOT come from that elemental authority. The archon war was happening in order to choose the victors who'll inherit them, but once again... the divine throne, gnosis, and elemental authority aren't their source of power. This is most obvious with Ei's feats during the archon war and after where Makoto held the three, yet Ei was still completely capable of unleashing mass destruction multiple times. And once she became an archon, Ei immediately severed her ties with the heavenly principles... and even discarded the gnosis, yet she's capable of creating storms big and strong enough to surround Inazuma. The power of the sovereigns are NOT the source of the god's powers.
4. Nahida is NOT a weak god. She is a branch of Irminsul, connecting the ley lines that sustain the entirety of Teyvat. And with it, she can literally change the entire world itself. You've seen it happen in Wanderer's quest. All it needs is the intention and the wisdom to control it... she only lacks the former thanks to her gentle nature. She doesn't even need gnoses' mass of elemental energy to heal the suffering dendro sovereign, the fire seed is her own power... and it was only because of her kindness to keep saving fungi that it wasn't enough to heal Apep. Not to mention, the injuries and corruption Apep suffered were not something minor... bro has been suffering since King Deshret's time.
5. Zhongli's original form is a DRAGON, though he is not a vishap. People have been unable to differentiate the two. Elynas and Durin were also dragons but not vishap. All vishaps are dragons but not all dragons are vishaps. Also Morax actually only wandered as a mortal through his Zhongli form. Morax masquerading as an old woman was ingame fiction.
I heavily agree with this, but, i'd like to add something here:
It has been confirmed by skirk that the Gnosis' are the remnants of the 3rd decender. So yes, the gnosis did indeed NOT come from the dragon sovereigns.(This can also be a big miss-conception in the community. But since it's pretty common knowledge that anyone who doesn't skip the dialogue should know, i made an exception for it.)
As to how this relates to all of this, The elemental authority and The power from the Gnosis are SEPARATE from one another. That could also explain why the gnosis could have access to communication with the heavily principles.
(Tho, they're may be a few mistakes here since i haven't really been focusing much on genshin when natlan came out. Not that i have anything against natlan, but just the fact that i'm currently just hyped over hsr. So, Feel free to correct me if i said anything wrong.)
@@Ashleycolorful Yep, that's another huge misconception which probably originated from a few popular theories prior to Fontaine questline. It's also part of why Neuvillette just gives away the hydro gnosis and it doesn't affect him.

Actually the book where it says zhongli is a woman isnt entirely false zhongli just says its super exaggerated and it makes it seem like when he disguises himself he gives himself an extravagent disguise when i reality he likes disguises tjat make him lay low so its not entirely fiction but its super exaggeratd
@@whiteclover1643yes gods power source not from elemental authority. Gods are just elemental life form. But elemental authority give them almost absolute control. (But i don't think archons can use full potential of Elemental authority. Reason egeria/focalor can't give fontaine people true blood.) same reason full power sovereign are the pinnical of their elements. And way way more powerful than any gods in teyvat.

I think while all equal rank, Ningguang is the most public and high profile of the Qixing, acting openly. So I think both the players and in game citizens give her the most attention. The other members usually operate in the background in their own industry or even secretly.
Weird that people see Chiori (a character with an Inazuman name and wearing Inazuma style clothes) and think she's a native of Fontaine. At least when it comes to Thoma it's understandable. Yes, the name is clearly not Inazuman, but he has a similar hair color to Yoimiya, and when they appeared together in Yoimiya's trailer some people assumed they were siblings. Also, Thoma embraced Inazuma fashion, making him blend in with the natives.
The thing with Mona is that she's pretty much an accurate portrayal of literally every post-undergrad student ever LMAO. She isn't exactly poor but her having to pay for research materials makes it seem that way.
I've had so many people tell me that Kaeya is the prince of Khaenri'ah or has royal blood in him. He doesn't 😭
It's been debunked ever since the Hidden Strife event.
And even after the Caribert quest, where we meet Chlothar. Like it's at least highly suggested Chlothar is just a noble, not a royal.
Listen, I'm a big Kaeya simp. I love him, I have him C6 even, but the amount of people still trying to argue he is the prince of Khaenri'ah is just wrong
Some of them who argue kaeya is a prince are even kaeya simps, but I feel like they just cant accept the fact he is not a royal, but the Alberich clan are just regents
3:00 well, she keeps dodging the landlord, but that's because they keep missing each other as Mona is usually out and about on one of her impulsive shopping sprees whenever he swings by. Ironically, this can ALSO be initially misconstrued as "Mona dodges her landlord because she's too broke to afford the rent"
I agree about Furina's quest so much, she deserves so much better than that missed opportunity

thank you for making a dedicated part of the video for furina. im so tired of people just stating that shes like rukkadhevata's nahida, when its clearly not. furina is focalors, and focalors is furina; two sides of the same coin. so in the end, it was a one person plan; its just that focalors had to sacrifice a part of herself for that to happen
One that frustrates me so much is Venti and Ei's age
In Zhongli's character stories, it says that the "carefree Barbatos" is the second oldest of the Seven, but everyone assumes Ei is older.
Then theres the actual age. Ei and Makoto had a civilization prior to the war 3700 years ago (As said in Itto's story quest I think? It said people were going to Narukami to be under her protection once the war started) that was presumably very successful, so she has to be over 3800 years old (as itd take a while to build a successful nation from nothing when you know nothing and just spawned). Meaning, Venti is over 3800. But everyone says hes only 2600 because thats when he became an archon. It frustrates me to no end man

@GoatLiffy Yeah lol, few chrs have canon ages/age ranges and the ones that do are either super commonly mistaken or so hard to mistake it's funny
Another addition: Neuvillette. It's stated by Osse in Shadow Over Petrichor that, for the Hydro Dragon Sovereign to reincarnate, the "Mistress of Waters" (Egeria) must be dead, and since Egeria died in the Cataclysm, Neuvi can only be 500ish at most, he is far from the 6000 many people claim.

I dont see this nowadays but it grinds my gears before (esp early EARLY days of Genshin) when they clown Venti as an archon itself (his bard ways sure are clowntown circus af.) Archons aren't omnipotent and they sure can't solve ALL problems but atleast Venti is always there when he is needed the most: overthrowing aristocracy, Durin, landscaping Mondstadt. He stands by his principle of freedom and most importantly: he doesnt infantilize Mondstadt peeps - something which he didn't need an artificial, self-made conflict to be convinced of. I stand by this since 1.2. :)
But yeah, there's no indication that the guy is a war freak but rather just tries to solve the problem the best he can.

So far, I can only confirm that he only summoned and blessed Dvalin. That being said, the Skyward series actually presents much deeper plot holes if we were to look at it. If Venti had been asleep when the cataclysm first occurred, is that why the Tsaritsa hates him? Maybe Venti wasn't actually in Khaenri'ah when shit went down? Another avenue to delve into I guess.

A really old misconception in Genshin and still confused everyone is the whole Baal Beelzebuth thing to put it into summary
Baal is the original name of the Archon of Inazuma aka Raiden Makoto Ei's sister
Beelzebuth is the Archon Namde of Raiden Ei the Kage Musha of Makoto during the Archon war and the 2nd Archon of Inazuma
And lastly Raiden Shogun the Puppet little Sister of Scar- Wanderer that is made by Ei also shares the Archon name of Baal
I still see people confused about this and can't name who is who in amongst the Raidens of Genshin
A side note why they chose Baal and Beelzebub as the based name to the Raiden Twins is because of how similar the spelling is to one another in the ancient scriptures so translation sometimes messed it up and fused them together but

Some facts about Mondstadt characters. Long text ahead
1. Diluc is not descendant of Vennessa. He is descendant of Dawn Knight who is a Ragnvindr that lived in the same time as Vennessa and also took a part fighting against Lawrence's tyranny. Dawn Knight himself is most likely descendant of Red-haired Knight that fought alongside Nameless Bard against Decarabian (although it is not confirmed but it's obvious by his looks)
2. This is still unexplored info in Genshin lore but apparently God gained power based on faith of people (related to what Venti said about Archon get stronger when they rule their nation). In the book Biography of Gunnhildr, it is said that the wind spirit (AKA Venti) got his power initially from Gunnhildr's prayer. The faith might be key point how Decarabian could be defeated (because people lose faith in him thus made him weaker while more people gave faith to Venti). Also fun fact related to Venti, fandom often overlook Barbara as part of Gunnhildr mainly because she is overshadowed by Jean and also not using the Gunnhildr as family name. But the first Gunnhildr was a priestess which is in line with Barbara (the knight Gunnhildr that is in line with Jean is the one from the era of Lawrence tyranny). More fun fact is that Barbara's C6 is called "Dedicating Everything to You" and the symbol looks like Venti in spirit form
3. Still related to Jean's family. Jean and Barbara's mother (Frederica Gunnhildr) is still alive and currently in expedition with Varka. Despite the divorce with Seamus, it looks like their relationship isn't actually bad (both of them are in the expedition). It might not even be divorce and they just choose to live separately because the difference in their personality (likely because Frederica is a strict knight while Seamus is free-spirited because he was a former adventurer). Jean's alternate outfit is Frederica's old clothes that Seamus kept
4. Some info regarding the event in the manga (though there's a possibility that info from manga could be invalid because of retcon). The manga took place one year (or I think 6 months to be exact) before the start of game timeline. Crepus died on Diluc 18th birthday, according to Diluc's character story is 4 years ago (3 years ago in the manga). That makes Diluc currently is 22 years old. In the manga, Amber also states that she isn't old enough to drink and that makes her 17 years old at highest in the manga timeline. Collei got massive growthspurt because she is initially way shorter than Amber in the manga but in the game they are about the same height (might just caused by game's limited body type)
5. Still from the scene in the manga, but from chapter Prologue. Murata is actually a mistranslation of "Munata" (Nata is Natlan in chinese, japanese, and korean). So what Venti said about Vennessa is just saying that she is a children of Natlan. The archon's name at that time is not named Murata. When Vennessa asked Venti about Celestia, Venti thought of 3 mysterious shadowy figures and he quickly change the topic. When Vennessa fought agains a group of Hillichurls, you can actually spot winged Hillichurls with bat-like wings. At the end of chapter, Venti told something about unknown being named Pangu, Purusha, and Ymir
If some Genshin Impact Theories are to be believed, Venti wasn’t just some wind sprite who helped his people survive and thrive: he’s on the level of strength of Red Lapis and Raiden, as the only three remaining original Archons are the oldest and the most powerful. It might be similar to to Middle-Earth where typically the older a being is, the stronger than being is: age and power go hand-in-hand. I think you’re really downplaying Venti’s power at the end of that segment.

This is a line in his Character Story 3 that talks about what Venti was when Andrius and Decarabian were still the prime gods of Mondstadt. There's literally no record of him being mentioned predating that.
I wasn't downplaying anything. I just stated what the game says. Don't mistaken theories and headcanon as something you can consider to be canon. There's NOTHING in the game that says that he had power or had achieved combat feats that were on par with Morax and Beelzebul. Until the game says so, I will take written lore over anything "theories" have.
P.S, Beelzebul (Raiden) is not the OG Electro Archon, Baal was.

to be fair regarding the traveler getting assistance of Nahida+the people of Sumeru, that was largely in terms of strategy and some added 'stuff' with the Neo Akasha Terminal. in terms of acutally *fighting,* the Traveler still was pretty much alone in doing the brunt of the fighting against MechaMouche.
As for Arlecchino, you can say what you want, but the Traveler *did* force her to go into her transformation and *physically immobilize them (with some good old fashioned mental shock)* to win. Of course they lost in the end, but to push the number FOUR of the Harbingers with pretty much alien powers on her side to that point... I ain't even mad.
Well, the basic definition of Solo-ing is to do thing unaccompanied. And to solo is also to do things without any external assistance. Traveler was getting beat before getting those Akasha upgrades, and before that happened, Nahida had to do over 160 loops, many of which she had her Gnosis attempted to be taken away, to get all the information necessary for the Traveler to use, so I think there's a lot more credit to be given to Nahida even if she wasn't outright physically fighting.
In Arlecchino's case, still not soloing. That was the only point of that misconception :)

Thats one misconception I been disscussing my friends with, like hello her whole figth was just from wills and even with that the traveler was helped with all the visions wills, and even so she didnt lose, she acepted defeat as she started to change her mind after all these efforts, even in her character quest Raiden was doing almost everything until the puppet started to interfere and the soliders of the ñast and ghe traveler fougth the hounds, almlst all the time in that quest the traveler was just an observer and was Raiden 1 vs 1 with the puppet and she won after she unleashed the sword full potential

About the Ningguang one:
I recognize that the Qixing leaders are all equal in position (wiki backs this up on the page about Qixing) but I would like to point out that
Yelan has directly stated in Perilous Trail that she serves Ningguang (seen at part with the door manifesting fears)
And Beidou only butts head with Ningguang on the surface, in reality, they get along quite well and Beidou was personally chosen by Ningguang to do her dirty work (same wiki page about Qixing)
Essentially, on paper, Ningguang is equal to the other 6 Qixing leaders, but Yelan works under Ningguang. Beidou is in this weird space where she was technically selected by Ningguang, but she sorta does what she wants while also acting as one of Ningguang's special ops. Also, the two regularly play chess and get along quite well (see 2.4 Lantern Rite cutscene)
The point about Ningguang possibly being more powerful due to sheer wealth makes a lot of sense, on top of that she's the most public/active Qixing member.
Another reason she stands out so much is that she is one of the only 3 Qixing leaders we've met, and she has a vision unlike Uncle Tian
On top of that, she was the one coordinating/leading attacks on Osial and Beisht
So while she's not technically the boss, she has the most influence over the general public
That being said she is equal to Keqing and also Uncle Tian

That's true about Yelan, I forgot about that part of the quest.
However, Beidou was never "selected" for anything, but rather Ningguang collaborates with her. Beidou made it very clear that she doesn't work under her. It's like the modern version of Rex Lapis and Guizhong, where one handles the field work and the other does the managing, but neither calls the shots without the other. The "butting heads" point was just to emphasize that Beidou isn't someone who just has to do what Ningguang says like her assistants or milleliths would have to do.
But in the end people still think she holds jurisdiction over everyone, which is not true, and influence is very subjective. She only looks like she's the most public acting Qixing because of the Jade Chamber and the events we happen to see in the game, when Keqing has done way more event involvement, coordinating, and officiating if we were to look at the game's events and records. People have often tried to kill Uncle Tian for his position, because his position allows for more concrete control of Liyue's workings.
This maybe isn't as much of a misconception, rather Genshin's bad habit of putting important lore pieces behind the most random object, but one that I love correcting is that Durin was evil. He wasn't. In fact, he was incredibly kind hearted, and only wished to be friends with Barbatos and the people of Mondstadt. In fact, even as he was dying, he only wished that he could have gotten to dance and have fun with the people.
And where is this information hidden? The Dragonspine Spear, a weapon that's not only optional, but also a bit more difficult to make, because you have to find and vitalize eight strange teeth just to make one, but you can only get four strange teeth every 48 hours.
The same happened with elynas but at least that time elynas itself told us her story

Something that I don't see a lot of players talk about is the fact that the Dendro dragon Apep casually mentioned that the Dendro Archon, has gotten "even smaller"
Apep didn't say that "Nahida" got smaller but the Dendro Archon themselves hinting that the previous Dendro Archon(i cant spell her name😭) was just like Nahida at one point and had to erase her former self to rewrite history and the only one who would remember all of that would be Apep seeing to how Nahida rewriting history didn't affect Apep's memories at all

Plus, the one that said that Nahida grew smaller again was not Apep, but a lifeform that escaped Apep long ago. They probably just thought that Nahida was Rukkhadevata, only smaller.

Rukkhadevata actually also got smaller in the past, when she was helping Deshret erase forbidden knowledge from the desert people (Kasala's cutscene (the priest guy who looks like Cyno) has him praise Rukkhadevata for sacrificing her own form in order to save people who weren't her own). To do this, she had to both cleanse forbidden knowledge from the land itself, and Deshret had to die because he was the last who knew of forbidden knowledge.
During the cataclysm, forbidden knowledge stained Sumeru once more, and this time it actually affected Irminsul (Irminsul wasn't affected in the past because Deshret did not have access to Irminsul like Rukkhadevata did), and Rukkhadevata, as Irminsul's guardian, was also poisoned. So now, Rukkhadevata decided to fully erase herself, which we see in the archon quest.
What you're talking about is what happened around the time of the Archon Wars, since Apep made a deal with Deshret for the forbidden knowledge, since they both thought that the forbidden knowledge would help them fight back against the Heavenly Principles. She likely saw Rukkhadevata after she successfully cleansed the desert of the forbidden knowledge.

Ningguang's perceived influence is a byproduct of people just wanting to be rich like her. In reality, the game has shown that other Qixing members hold just as much influence in many other sectors. No one disputes Uncle Tian's policy making, and everyone in the Chasm has to answer to Keqing. She's even the one to mediate any talks needed between the Qixing and the adeptis.
It's a bit like Iron Man in the Avengers. Probably the one funding shit, but everyone knows he's not the only one calling the shots :P

No xbalanque not even close. After faking death pyro sovereign was just shell of Himself. Also pyro authority already taken by primordial one. Xbalanque basically killed almost dead sovereign. Abyss mimic pyro sovereign (weaker version) still needed a descender help to defeat the mimic. Archons are dragon sage level powerful.

Focalors is only able to curse Furina by anchoring Furina's own immortality to her soul's existence. Furina could only be immortal as long as Focalors' divine soul still exists. Natlan would've needed to have someone divine enough who can separate their souls from their physical body and anchor it that way. Natlan's Archons are all human, so they just don't have anyone who could've done that in the first place. Focalors basically cursed herself if you think about it.
Before you suggest using Nightsoul, do remember that the spirits of the old heroes are just memories, not actual souls. Focalors was still an existing, sentient soul, and that was the only way Furina's immortality could hold on.
@GoatLiffy all I'm saying the story of genshin has had a lot of inconsistent details for example navia was barley able to walk because she said using a version takes a toll on the user yet normal humans like ningguang was able to rain hell storm from her jade chamber and if we take what she says at face value she wasn't using any adapti device to enhance her abilities which make it seems like someone is lying to us either navia was covering up her weak control over her vision or ningguang was actually using adapti tech while undermining that she is where she is because of their help and on that topic if visions are hard to control and leave the user weak when overused then how did furina was able to floud her apartment when she used it for the first time also she is the only character being able to control 3 elemental companions at once 24/7 to the point where she hosts tea parties with them and yet she is still full of energy not to mention that nuvi said he is the one controlling Pneuma and Ousia at the end of the archon quest and yet he only controls one of them while furina controls both there is no way furina doesn't have a bit of the archon power in her but they aren't giving us confirmation
@@blukat9903 No, Vision users have their own power scaling. Not every Vision user is as strong as the other. Look at Shenhe and every other human cryo user, would you say that they are on par in terms of strength? Or a better example, look at someone like Diluc and then look at Xiangling. One uses his Vision to beat up Fatuis, and the other uses it mostly for cooking. The way they use it and why they have it affects their battle capabilities. Ningguang used the Jade Chamber as a battery since the materials that makes the Jade Chamber have elemental properties that can boost elemental resonance, but you can also argue that she has a better grasp of her element and Vision to be able to do so, and considering her knowledge around mechanics in general, she definitely has the methods and resources to amplify her powers. Navia simply expended too much energy at once. It's not a matter of using the Vision, is a matter of how MUCH she is putting out in a singular instance.
Flooding an apartment is not exactly an impressive feat. Furina doesn't need constant elemental focus to "maintain" her summons because they are a creation of the imagination. Once you create them, they are there for good. Oz is another example of an existence that can technically do what he wants, regardless of Fischl's control over him. It is never once implied that their existence needs to be "maintained" in some way.
Your last point is just purely a mistake. NEVER outright equate gameplay mechanic powers with lore capabilities. They are not the same at all. Neuvillette has full authority over Hydro and Pnemousia in the lore, while gameplay is a whole lot different, you look at the lore description underneath all the talents to see what the lore representation of the talents actually look like.

5:16 for me is very simple. Focalor gave up her physical form like other gods such as andrius and Raiden. But Raiden used her body to make shogun. Focalor used her body to make a humanid (human oceanid) and that's furina. Furina is like scaramouche a puppet with its own soul

Hello! I was wondering if anyone has the answer to this thing that has been bothering me for a long time, what is the abyss? Let me explain
So in one part of the chasm archon quest (the part with the door that shows you your fear) we see the abyss as something empty that has corrupted our sibling, then we have the abyss order, who are just a bunch of monsters that are commanded by our sibling
AND THEN there is the abyss we see in the natlan archon quests, which are monsters that look like they arent commanded by our sibling
Are they all related?
Are they something like different branches of the abbys?
If they are related in some way, after the events of the 5.3 archon quest, is our sibling not corrupted anymore?

They are all connected in that they draw from the same mysterious power (The Abyss), but not the same with one another. There is the Abyss Order and the Abyss. One is an organization that essentially uses power from the Abyss, while the other is the existence of the concept itself.
Not everything associated with the Abyss is a part of the Abyss Order. Natlan was the actual Abyss trying to take over, while the Abyss Order our sibling is tied to, is more focused on reviving Khaenri'ah. It's also why we actually don't see them in anything that's more focused towards the Archons anymore, cause they don't usually have anything to do with them, unless the Archons have something that they need.
How our sibling is corrupted is a mystery at this point, but it's clear that she has been brainwashed in some way to believe themselves to be Khaenri'ah's saviour, and the Abyss seems to be a big factor in that.

Also I think you got the Furina story quest all wrong. From a citizen perspective how are they suppose to know her actual story? Only one in her quest that knew her story was Traveler and Paimon and the only one with room to apologize for anything is Paimon lol
But then why didn't anyone who knew (eg, Neuvi), say anything, or at least put out a story out there? In other cases, the same people who argue that the citizens wouldn't know, are also the same people who would say that her SQ takes place months after the prophecy, which is why she should have already healed. Why didn't anyone clarify anything within those months?
Plus, there's no way ALL of the citizens didn't know, one of em straight up said, "you're no longer Archon, but your acting skills are still top notch", which means they should know the true nature of her situation to some extent.

I think the most misconception that bothers me the most is that venti is the weakest archon and Raiden is the most powerful. If anyone is the most powerful is Zongli nahida or the tsaritza even maviuka has shown more feats of strength than Raiden. Raiden canonically lost to a human in a leat one match and the only time she fought another god was orobaxa and he was literally committing suicide cuz he was coursed but Celestia for saving enkanomia. Fighting HERSELF for " ~1000~ years" insane her own mind isn't a great feat she is definitely strong I mean she's a god but she is not the strongest at all

I think part of the issue with Mona is that even if she's *born* in Mondstadt, if she was hypothetically Fontainian through her parents. Would that hypothetically still mean she could have been an oceanid? If the flood was a punishment for creating life without authority, how would Fontainians outside of Fontaine during the flood be punished? Would they just burst into water like people in the AQ? She only confirms she's born in Mondstadt, not that her family isn't from Fontaine, which I think still kind of leaves the door open for people to wonder, especially since hyv didn't seem to think of certain details (Fontaine floods but non Fontainian are still also there, etc etc). She literally says they migrated there, not that they're from there.
But there's also nothing to support the hypothesis that her parents could be from Fontaine. The reason people thought she was from Fontaine was cause of the Steambird connection, meanwhile there's nothing that creates that sort of connection for her parents. Just because they say they migrated there, doesn't mean they migrated from Fontaine, and the misconception is that people think Mona was born Fontainian, when she isn't. And since she knew about the prophecy and the nature of it, Hoyo would definitely have her mention it if her parents were Fontainian and made Mona herself aware of the risks.
With how much misconceptions there is regarding the story, this video might as well has been more than 2 hours, just simple shit like a lot of people not knowing that the Archon war and Khaenri'ahs cataclysm are different, some of the worse ones being Archons getting powers from their Gnosis, i don't understand how much it spreads that easly across the fandom.
Archons does get power from the gnosis however it's only grant the extra powers.
Archons have two different sources of powers
The devine throne forge out of the dragon authority. And the gnosis. those two combination of power what makes an archon well.. archon.
However people believe that archon war happened between archons lol. With only ei not having a gnosis at that time.lol quit funny.
@The_original_one No, Archons don't draw powers from the Gnosis, no Archon in lore has ever used it to upgrade their strength physically, the only uses it had was in Sumeru and Fontaine
