11:56 - chess set not chess piece* Guys, i'm getting old T_T . Check out this theory on Bennett's REAL IDENTITY! : ruclips.net/video/424NCQZJDBM/видео.html
I think the analysis of game number 5 could change significantly if we go with the idea that the *traveller* gets the gnosis. Idk how that would change things
It is more complicated. If you play Chess you can see that the piece that represents Venti has a clear path to taking out Signora but doesn't which reflects the story progression. The same goes for Zhongli represented by the Rook on the chess board. Instead they trick her to the duel with the traveler which effectively turns the tide of the battle and opens up for the knight, Ei to take her out. Venti not resisting Signoras attempt to take the Gnosis is represented by what is called as a "silent move" in Chess. The theory behind these moves is to make the opponent to force a move in a position were every move the opponent makes from now on weakens the state on the board. If you use a chess computer the AI - Celestia now has a 90 percent chance to lose the game after Signora is sacrificed, you can actually use a real chess computer and confirm this. This means that the Fatui planned for Signora to be sacrificed which puts Pierro in a different light entirely because he pretends to mourn Signoras death however what he says afterwards is much more important "right now you have no captivated audience but Rosalyne I promise you the entirety of the old world will be your resting place" This phrase comes again by no other than Kaeya which suggest that Teyvat is a stage that is performing a play for an audience. it also suspicious that Pierro plays Chess in the cut scene, when the Gnosis is formed like a chess piece, could he perhaps have chosen the motive of the Gnosis in the fever dream that is Genshin Impact. I believe this is represented by were the "gods gaze does not reach" Signora was a insignificant pawn in the game of chess but by taking her out in Teyvat they effectively lost the game. This fits Genshins theme of everything being turned upside down were a Queen is useless on the board, and a pawn is the difference between life and death. I think it is entirely possible that Celestia just like Irminsul cannot compute this logic and therefore loses. This essentially is Pierros design , will it work? At least until The Heavenly Principles sleeps because they are on some sort of auto drive as of now this may change if they are awaken and learns the rules on the board. In this game with Casparov he played 6 matches vs Deep Blue this means that he has to create the 7:th game to fool Heavenly Principles 7 times in order to win the set. 7 regions 7 archons 7 Dragon Sovereigns. However it also means that the archons know about this and is actively helping Pierro or at least he think so but they probably know a lot more what these games actually represent since Pierro was not a particularly gifted scholar In Khaenri'ah. What the archons actually plan is unknown it is possible that they haven't agreed on a solution but both Focalors and Venti are willing to give back the stolen sovereign powers to it's respective dragon unclear what Mauvika intends to do in Natlan as of yet. "The gods goads us with their 7 treasures" Dainsleif. This statement suggest he knows what is going on and thinks that fight is futile he is looking for answers elsewhere to save Lumine is my guess. However it is possible that Dainsleif do not yet know about the ability of the traveler to purify the Abyss because this is a gamechanger, the Abyss always trumfed the archons as the Abyssal power is supreme in Teyvat. The only occasion Venti shows any motion of surprise is when the traveler purifies Dvalins tears, this is NOT something he knew was possible which suggest that something has changed since the last "journey" in Teyvat. This resets the rules and the game entirely and ever since the archons has that knowledge in hand I believe they are planning to change Teyvats laws which would in theory free teyvat from the grasp the first Descenders currently have also known as Celestia. Here comes the twist, I believe Teyvat is a remade version of the siblings home planet and this means that Lumine are not on either side she wants to reverse all of it they are all enemies and she is coming for all she just needs her sibling to be onboard but since Teyvat has no past or future it is entirely possible that's were the story started. Since they effectively managed to take Lumines Descender status she no longer has a will strong enough to rival Teyvats, but her sibling does and she is very dependant on him/her to revive their home planet. Tsaritsa is aware of this threat and as the archon that loved the humans the most she set a plan in motion to make humans gods. It is also entirely possible that Lumine do not know about this ability either one is consumed by the Abyss and one has the ability to repel it, they are each others polar opposites. They want to reunite but this could prove to be almost impossible if both of them are presented by a magnet it will depend on who's will is the strongest to rival the laws of Teyvat
@@RaikanaAF I hear you Genshin is a compliciated game I have much more to say that is the condensed version lol..How about Teyvat just being shadows that are played out on earths surface from the reflection of the moon for instance during an Eclipse. An Eclipse that was made possible for Pierro to trick Heavenly Principles and regain humanities free will. Something to chew on.
Here is a theory The travler is not a king but actually just a pawn It takes a pawn 6 moves to become a queen There fore it takes the travler 6 nations after mondstadt(starting position) to become an archon of sorts maybe something like the archon of hope or people or wishes of the people There fore by the end of shneznaya we will acquire the gnosises from the tsaritsa so we (now the queen ) can fight/ check mate celestia (the king of opposite collor)
there is also a theory that the traveler might be the one holding on to the pyro gnosis at the end of natlan AQ as a bargaining chip for the tsaritsa, so that is how we transition to sneznhaya
The best part is that all of this fits perfectly on the slime theory AND the order of the elements in the load screen. Pyro, Hydro, Anemo, Electro, Dendro, Cryo, Geo, that's the order in the loading screen. Pyro and Hydro are paired, and they're both Knight pieces and both slimes have horns. Anemo is solo as the only winged slime and the only Queen piece. Electro and Dendro are paired as Bishops and slimes with stalks. Cryo and Geo are paired as Rook pieces and shielded slimes. Nice.
I’m so glad someone finally has the same theory on what gnosis the chess pieces represent not to mention the fact the slimes share traits with other elemental slimes to indicate the same peice hydro and pyro slimes both have horns geo and cryo slimes both have Shields and dendro and electro slimes both have a ohoge not to mention the inverted colors of them are the exact opposite of the slime they match with anemo slime having the same colors as the sustainer possibly also being a type of king
Do you think the slimes are the real humans? If they go that far...I kind of think they are, flowers are named with human names almost exclusively. Do you know who loves to be eating slimes?...Paimon
@@alexanderericson8628 definitely none of the slimes have any lore relevance their mostly their for drops and to show hints to the next archon either kit or lore wise
@@isaiahhaley4816 No that is wrong. Teyvat is directly connected to the elements as they are connected to memories/visions. It is not something Hoyo would reveal in a book just like that, it would in that case be the "truth of this world" U may have heard that statement in game
@@isaiahhaley4816 No they most def are not. The elemental power comes from the dragons and elemental energy is the same as memories which means that a lot of Teyvats history is lost.
As a chess player myself, i quite enjoyed your video. I think that your theory fits both the genshin lore, and you've clearly made a lot of research! Keep it up!
My only problem with this theory is that Signora had no reservations to kill the traveler. Had she won the duel before the throne, all odds say the Traveler would die to Musou no Hitotachi as it was never parried before. Skara WANTED to kill the Traveler in the Reconciled Stars event. If the Traveler was part of Tsaritsa's plan all along, I'm sure she would've made very clear that they must not hurt them. Dottore only didn't hurt us in front of Nahida because he knew it would ruin his chances to negotiate with her. And Arlecchino is said to go her own way.
I think the one thing is that the Fatui is not incredibly organized. all of the harbingers clearly have their own goals, they just happen to be united under one name. Say, for instance, only higher ranking Harbingers know of the traveler’s importance. or perhaps, the chess games are still being played. they do not know of the travelers importance quite yet.
I don't think the Fatui realized the Traveler was a Descender until after Signora's death. Signora was dismissive about the Traveler's fighting skill. Tartaglia said as much during their fight and since he didn't like Signora, probably didn't share the info about the Traveler using Geo and Anemo with her. He probably only shared that info to the Tsaritsa, Pierro and maybe Pulcinella? Tartaglia can use electro and hydro elements so they might have wondered if it was a similar situation, didn't tell the Harbingers anything while they waited for more info. After the Sakoku Decree lifted and reports confirmed they could use electro too that the Harbinger's realized what was going on. Sidenote: there's a world quest in Fontaine (Questions and Answers) that alludes that Sandrone tried to apologize to us by cutting off a guys tongue. So the order not to hurt the Traveler definitely exists now.
The point of the traveler is that he’s a singularity. Nahida states many times that people who aren’t from this world aren’t able to be predicted. I personally believe that before we woke up the king piece was supposed to be our sibling because they’ve already explored the world and thus would have the elements and the power to become the king piece but because she’s also the queen of the abyss the fatui are able to get to her without having to fight the abyss also. Which is where us, singularity #2 come in. It’s not realized until probably inazuma or sumeru that we also posses the powers to be become the king piece and i would even say its possible the fatui realized in liyue. Many characters with fatui voice line mention how they all work for one group but do their own thing so I wouldn’t take scara going after the traveler too seriously
But if you see the loading screen and consider it as the chess pieces then from left to right electro is in the 4th position which is the queen position considering the king is missing isn't it? I know anemo gnosis looks like the queen but position wise electro should be the queen here isn't it?
@@chonkhampter the loading screen theory isn't in the order of chess. It's the pairings of elements. Which would pair cryo with geo, meaning cryo is also a rook
Talking abt the traveler being the king piece reminded me of what was mentioned at the end of fountains quest, how the gnosis is the remains of the 3rd descender, and how the traveler is the 4th descender. And that the traveler has similar properties to the gnosis in that they interact with elements in interesting ways. The traveler could be the king piece after all as their body interacts with tevats elements similarly to the gnosis.
Interestingly (though probably a coincidence), the elements order in the game (Pyro, Hydro, Anemo, Electro, Dendro, Cryo, Geo) has them paired as in your chess pieces theory: Hydro and Pyro as knights, Electro and Dendro as bishops, Cryo and Geo as the rooks, and Anemo as an outlier as the queen. At some point, the same pairing was theorized with slimes: Hydro and Pyro have horns, Anemo is an outlier, Dendro and Electro have something on their heads (flowers and antenna, respectively), and Cryo and Geo have shields.
But if you see the loading screen and consider it as the chess pieces then from left to right electro is in the 4th position which is the queen position considering the king is missing isn't it? I know anemo gnosis looks like the queen but position wise electro should be the queen here isn't it?
@@chonkhampter Well there are only 7 positions on the loading screen. As the Original comment said it could be intentional design to group their respective pieces
Actually the anemo gnosis is not the queen piece it doesn’t look like the queen chess piece and it looks more like a king piece meanwhile the pyro gnosis looks more like the queen piece
@@Roxy_Axyumm no your just wrong the anemo gnosis is the only gnosis we have seen with a crown the pyro gnosis is definitely not queen or king because it does not have a crown so your just wrong
@@respectthefish4992 Houkai Gakuen 2nd otherwise known as GGZ, an older game from HoYo was released 2014, around 11-12 years ago, and is still getting updated, so Genshin will definately not end anytime soon, like their other games
Yeah I imagine after teyvat storyline part 2 will be set in hyperborea and set 300 years after and plot and tone will be similar to xenoblade chronicles 3 kingdom of the planet of the apes and gears of war 4 or if not they can go with the plot of xenogears
I think the 3rd descender can also be the king( resurrected abyss sibling, i think the current abyss sibling is a clone of the original one and pierro decides to resurrect her by combining all the gnosis). Thats probably the reason why the current abyss sibling has been recorded in irminsul. Traveller cannot be a part of the chess piece cause he is an observer or recorder of the events happening around teyvat. If he was part of the chess piece then irminsul would also have record of him. In the last game its the abyss sibling together with fatui fighting against celestia. We ,the traveller are just camera-man watching our sibling fighting an entire war while eating popcorn😂.
In my defense of saying why the current lumine is copy of the original because albedo was created by rhinedotter from the traveller's perspective. But we havnt seen the copy of lumine yet. Perhaps the one we seeing now is copy the whole time and pierro wants to resurrect the original lumine.
No matter what, it would be very disappointing if after spending years collecting 7 powers, we are not part of the end-game. Surely these 7 powers would be put to good use and not just playing hydro shooting toy gun.
@@weakestdemon9422If that is the case then that means that Pierro believes that the original 3rd Descender would make different decisions than the Imperfect Copy of the MC’s Sibling…
i mean from the "ancient name" talk for the traveler, it seems like we may become a piece on the board soon? which would align with the theory of the fatui wanting to gain the "king".
I believe that chess game is just symbolic of the Fatui schemes and how they are sort of humans attempting to fight against an AI (the Heavenly Principles). It wasnt giving a statement specifically about the gnoses themselves. Every single gnosis, if you really dig down into what a gnosis is and what it does, is a king piece. It comes down to this: rooks, bishops, knights... do not have divine thrones. Nor do they have divine authority. Kings do. Every gnosis is the king of their region's chess set.
13:28 it could also be that the tsaritsta would kill the travelers sibling and they turn into a gnosis since gnosise are dead descenders, and the traveler siblings are descenders, meaning they did not come from this world
What if game 5 is being played for Khaenri'ah. As in teyvat storyline previous it's chapter number wasn't shown by them. Why it could be because in that trailer at chapter V i.e. in NATLAN, in video they says that pyro archon will share secrets with traveller because she also have her own reasons. [ I think what zhongli not told us due to contract might be informed to us by mavuika]. Then in Khaenri'ah most probably fatui describe traveller about things and based on which traveller help them [ as dainsleif told us you have to decide on which side you want to go ]. The only interesting thing is they changed queen and king pieces. In 1996 match deep blue also lost because its all main pieces where at left side with queen in lockdown condition and king was alone at right side of board and Kasparov won by checkmate. by changing position of king and queen result might be something else. In addition rematch also happens in 1997 where deep blue won the match !!!! (result of 6 rounds = Kasparov-deep blue-draw-draw-draw-deep blue). So i think there would be second part of genshin impact from side of Lumine (other sibling) where she lost to celestial.
What if the missing king piece can actually be Paimon???!! She is always with the traveler every time the traveler resonates with an element after touching a statue of the seven. She also has a crown-like piece on her head and her origins are still unknown. Maybe she is related to Celestia based off of her design? And also there are moments alluding that Paimon is secretly a goddess based off of some limited time events in the game. So maybe once the Fatui collected all of the gnosis, they would have Paimon reveal her identity so they can fulfill the missing piece they need!
@@kikoshaula wait you’re actually right. the Melusine called Paimon “a rainbow balloon with a string attached to the sky” which means Paimon is from Celestia and the rainbow represents all 7 elements in the game.
I think that there are potentially 3 ways it goes. 1. The traveler ascends to become a being more powerful than a god. This could be made possible by obtaining all elements from each respective nation, unlocking the latent potential of the traveler as a "descender". This can be supported by the fact that during Albedo's story quest and the chalk prince event, we learn about rhinedottir's attempts to simulate a descender using "matter from beyond teyvat" to create albedo, the abyssal blood that poisoned both dvalin and durin, and also what the rifthounds are made of. The process of simulating a descender was also referenced in the book series Perinheri in fontaine, telling the story of the foster home for children that were summoned to teyvat in Khaenri'ah. All to say that the idea of a descender was very sought after throughout teyvat's history, which is why the fatui are looking for all the gnoses which are the remains of the 3rd descender. This could be to avoid any risk of a rebirth occurring outside the hands of the fatui. 2. Childe will ascend to godhood in a similar manner to Scaramouche during the Sumeru archon quest. The lore archon Wei made a video about the parallels of Childe to the greek story of Ajax the hero, who through rebirth, became a powerful being. A lot of the connections stem to the idea of rebirth, and given that Childe's birth name is Ajax, he is a reincarnation of the 3rd descender. By using the remains of the 3rd descender, the fatui would be able to simulate a full rebirth of the 3rd descender using Childe as a vessel. 3. The gnoses are sacrificed to destroy the authority of the archons, yielding the seven's powers back to the dragon sovereigns of each nation. It already happened in Fontaine, and it might happen again in natlan given the fact that mavuika probably will sacrifice herself to save the nation. I dont know how plausible it is for the gnoses to be destroyed, perhaps in the moment before war between teyvat and celestia, since the heavenly principles are currently dormant. To me, all 3 are plausible and could potentially happen, maybe even overlapping throughout the course of the story. I think that the theme of descenders and the concept of descenders, however, will remain very prevalent throughout. I believe that the 5 sinners of Khaenri'ah play a massive part in the progression of Genshin's story. Most notably, "Gold" Rhinedottir and "The Visionary" Vedrfolnir (the sinner). The connection to the abyssal powers that the sinners hold could be the key to discovering the roots of the abyss itself, the connections and parallels it shares to teyvat (ie. The night kingdom, the spiral abyss, enkanomiya etc.) and so much more. Im super hyped for lore drops during and after the natlan archon quest, and i hope we get more than just one patch of dainsleif related quest lines.
the second option seems interesting, but he is just a boy that fell into the abyss. What makes Childe special, besides him following us all our journey?
@@supergamer8030 ruclips.net/video/WO9FNMylEBc/видео.htmlsi=f86_A8142gI_COqQ i really like this guy's videos, even if some of the theories do seem a bit outlandish. This is where i take reference from regarding the 2nd option. Could be very interesting if it does play out this way, especially if we look at it as a fatui vs celestia point of view.
It is quite obvious by now that we are supposed to eventually side with the Fatui. They have been gradually shofting our perception from "The Fatuis are the antagonists of the game" to "maybe they aren't that bad, just a few bad apples"
Wait a second, what about the theory that this is not the first time this story has happened? There is a short from the Hoyoverse Fair that shows Lumine and the Abyss conquered Teyvat after all the bad things happen (Zhongli dies, Ei is eternally alone, Nahida, Rukkadevatha and Irminsul get completely corrupted, Furina is all alone in her throne after the Sea floods Fontaine, I'm not quite sure what happens on Mondstat lol), BUT at the end before Lumine defeats the last god, Venti is shown to be a god that controls time and rewinds all of it until the moment we (the traveler) meet him in Mondstat. Now heres what i want to say, what if this is an allegory to the moment where Casparov and Deep Blue play for the first time BEFORE these 6 games, because as far as I know these 6 games are not the only games played, but they were the OFFICIAL final scores. Am i cooking?
2:23 i think the additional black pawn was childe since he appeared in liyue archon quest alongside of zhongli and then left as if nothing happened Also a side note, in both cases its a distraction like how childe wasnt part of the main plan of liyue archon gnosis and this chess piece didnt play any role in game either
They aren't true evil but they do condone evil actions, "the ends justify the means", the road to evil is paved with good intentions. Even if they aren't true evil, they have still done many evil actions and this is outside of the "Factions" labels. Most soldiers we fight scream "I was only following orders" no matter how evil the actions they were doing.
Initial bc fatui are bad guys bc I thought there evil plans are world domination and eula story quest we see lawrence clan are in the pocket of fatui as in hired them for protection but we were wrong
Having made a similar theory myself just before Fontaine released, tying each match to the same story arcs as you do and using the events in the game as an analogue for events in the story, I’m a bit dubious of this method when trying to predict events yet to come. My predictions for Fontaine utterly failed because the information I was pulling upon to make them didn’t include the twists present in act 5 I had no way of knowing about beforehand. I think this theory falls into the same trap, trying to preemptively predict which parts of each game are significant when there are likely still 3 major twists yet to come in the ending acts of Natlan, Snez, and Khaenriah, and each story arc able to take hundreds of different paths that are simply impossible to predict. On an unrelated note, I strongly disagree that the kings and queens are swapped on the first board. Not only would this create so many complications for how that position would arise on a normal board (the kings would be waaaay too close for a board with that many major pieces still in play, and why would each queen be trapped in the corner like that?) as well as it making the move we see in-game by white be a complete blunder since either the white queen can take the hanging knight with no consequences or white can threaten the extremely vulnerable king as opposed to the queen with plenty of escape options, Venti’s actions in-game match that of the white king on the Kasparov board pretty darn well. Ignoring the Fatui board, the white king moves twice in the entire game - once to castle and then another to get out of check. Most of the game it’s sitting behind a layer of pawns not doing anything, but when it gets put in check all their major pieces are either gone or too far away to protect it. However, attacking the king to go for checkmate is a blunder for black and directly and immediately leads to the capture of the black pawn and the surrender of the black king. That is, attacking Venti to make the round end leads to the death of Signora and sets the Fatui back. I cannot stress this enough though, this all breaks down the moment you swap the kings and queens, for many reasons beyond even those I outlined above. If someone asks me for them all I might drop a second mini-essay for them but I think this comment is long enough already. I’m not saying this method of analysis is worthless, I’m going to be revising my own chess theory sometime soon when I have a moment to sit down with it, but having previously overanalyzed these games I’m not a fan of the conclusions drawn here.
@@GenshinBane honestly you are the only theorist/lore analyst to give emphasis to the chess theory despite the fact that we all did see that part in the winter night's laso cutscene.
Theory time, I might be wrong but this is just for fun afterall: There is another candidate for the King piece Gnosis, Surtalogi, look closely at Skirk's dialogues and you'll know what I mean. Skirk have seen a Gnosis before, but the question is how? Since we knows where all of the Gnosis (except for Cryo) have been for the last 500 years, in their respective nations and that Skirk spend at most 500 years living in the Abyss with Surtalogi, so how in the world did she managed to "seen" a Gnosis? In the Abyss mind you, not only that she said that any informations she tell us she got it from Surtalogi, so is the sight of the Gnosis also the same since it is also a piece of information? Also given the fact that Surtalogi (or Surt) title in Norse mythology is "Harbinger of Ragnarok" and the Fatui Project Stuzha being link to Fimbulwinter which is the first sign of Ragnarok, it's pretty on the nose if you asked me. Surtalogi was the one who burn the world during Ragnarok in Norse mythology, we are missing a number 10 in the Fatui's seat, number 10 is often represent as "perfection" (Surtalogi is pursuing a similar form of "perfection" like Gold), number 10 also represent the world. "Sorry... to also have you shoulder the grievances of the world. Since you could endure my bitter cold, you must have the desire to burn? Then, burn away the old world for me." -The Tsaritsa, Shivada Jade Gemstone What make me feel weird about this is the fact that Dainsleif most likely knew about project Stuzha and maybe even Surtalogi's involvement, yet he does nothing about it. Collected Miscellany Childe: "An icy storm is starting to blow towards the other nations. Brace yourselves, Teyvat is about to get cold." -Dainsleif So here's the thing, either Surtalogi have the King Piece or the Tsaritsa just give her Gnosis to him for some unknown reasons. This is just a theory afterall, a game theory.
@@GenshinBane Ok so this theory might be a bit scuffs, I mean I come up with this theory while I was in the shower... don't asked how long I spend in there, also I at a debunking part so this will be longer then my other comment. You see the more I think about it, the more I noticed a pattern with Gold's creations First stage, the beginning-beasts with animalistic natural and low intelligence (aka the rift wolfs her first creations) Second stage, the development-beasts with human level intelligence (like Durin and Elynas) Third stage, the finish "product"-artificial humans with high intelligence (aka Albedo and if my theory is correct then Surtalogi too). Theory: Gold might be infertile (or can't get pregnant) you see it is a common myth or belief that witches cannot get pregnant, yes Alice is Klee's mom but what if the same cannot be said for everyone else like say Gold (where am I going with this? You'll see in a moment) . So with this in mind, Gold one of the royal of Khaenriah, with a desire for a child to called her own, use Khemia and started practicing her craft in creating life. This would explain why one of her first creation, the rift hound lack intelligence unlike her later creations like Durin,Elynas,etc... but until this point she have only created monsters and dragons. What she want is a human son so she created her first human Surtalogi, Surtalogi might have impurity, but with her emotional attachment to her first son, she didn't dispose of him ( unlike what she did with Albedo's half digested brother, favoritism). Much like Durin, Surtalogi also wanted to see the world outside of Khaenriah, Gold agree to let him leave the same way she did with Durin. While exploring Teyvat he might have caught the attention of the Archons or Celestia itself, they later found out what Surtalogi is and What Gold have done. So they carry out the punishment on Khaenriah (similar to Fontaine) . Debunking Why I called Gold a royal? -According to Dainsleif Albedo title back in Khaenriah was Kreideprinz translate to English means chalk prince and Gold is Albedo's mom so...yeah. Why did I say that Surtalogi have impurity? -Surtalogi title is The Foul. Dirty, filthy, foul, nasty, squalid mean conspicuously unclean or impure. Why did I say Gold have emotional attachment to Surtalogi? -because unlike Albedo's brother (susbedo) he is still walking around, either that or he just run away from Gold Why did I say he was a creation of Gold and is the cause of Khaenriah demise? - according to Dainsleif, Khaenriah was destroyed because of the use of Khemia/ alchemy/ the art of creating life. With the Fontaine Archon quests and Surtalogi name I think most people can put 2 and 2 together. Surtalogi was the sword and not the wielder or craftsman. He was the sword that started the flame, burning Khaenriah like what we saw in the we will be reunited trailer. This would explain why Dain dislike artificial living beings, he probably blame Surtalogi for what happens. -Albedo said that those who are born of earth are bound by its imperfections while those born of chalk are free of impurity . The alchemical substain that Gold use to create Albedo is chalk hint the title Chalk Prince, what's interesting here is that Albedo mention one make from earth, meaning Gold have made someone else before using earth. Another definition for the word "Foul" is soil...I have to look it up. So in short my theory is that Gold's sin is giving birth while Surtalogi's sin was being born. Very scuffs I know, I can be 100% wrong too, but hey I had fun making this. This is just a fun theory and I would love to hear your thoughts.
And they shall all be devoured by the Blood Moon. The same phenomena that happens to appear during a total Lunar Eclipse kind of the one that happened in game during the Crimson Moon Dynasty. When Earth is positioned precisely between the Moon and Sun, Earth's shadow falls upon the surface of the Moon. So this takes place when humanity still stood a chance against Celestia as the Sun was still alive and well, .... Shadows dancing on the Moons surface would be interpreted as a play for someone that never experienced anything else, this is Plato's famous cave allegory. For someone that never witnessed anything else they would experience the shadows as reality or a movie that keeps repeating itself. The people that saw this happen could be interpreted as the audience. This is explained in Simulanka by the toy that becomes self aware of being part of a fairy tale. Or Kaeya explaining that you can step out and join the audience instead. Shadows cannot exist without light but are unable to move on their own which is what constellations are made for. It is therefore possible that Rhinedottir is the shade of life or the shadow to mimic the properties of life. She wants to be able to create life but creates monsters instead. Sustainer of Principles the shadow of space tries to mimic a ordered world but ends up creating an upside down universe were the tree of life is turned upside down rooted to the Abyss instead of the Heaven creating a myriad of problems. The shadow of death Istaroth misinterpreting what time is and how it functions. Ultimately the sky named the Firmament in game has to be pierced in order for Teyvat to realise the truth. Experiencing being just a mirrored version of something greater could be interpreted as Hell and the firmament as the veil that obfuscates the truth as well as how many lives they have lived in Teyvat in different people. The archons are named after the Ars Goetia demons trying to keep order in their kingdom only they recently became aware that they are demons and not gods atoning for the sin that cost humanity their will. None of the archons care for their demon name and it is mostly said as a demeaning slur .The shades are trying to pursuit perfection or light but this is physically impossible as one cannot exist without the other. I just wanna take a moment and thank you for all the kind feed back love you all Most of my theories are derived from Ashikai, My name for now, Roozeveldt and other great content creators I follow
You're leaving out Wanderer. Scaramouche returned as Wanderer, after erasing himself hoping to right his wrongs, and the hero of Simulanka, by saving Durin. He became a hero for some purpose, though he was trying to claim he couldn't understand why, though he was obviously meant to be the hero. So you're not figuring him in, when I believe you shouldn't underestimate his importance. He was deemed weak, cast aside, suffered terrible losses, became a hated character, because he simply didn't know the truth. Once he learned the truth, he tried to change what he'd done, realizing later that it's impossible to do, though by erasing himself and later earning the Anemo vision, he became free to make different choices, and though he's still not perfect (as none of us are), he's trying to atone, which has great meaning in the universe. I don't think he should ever be counted out, or underestimated.
Apart from the initial chessgame , i dont believe Wanderer as such would be included in the other games. Especially since Simulanka might not come under any games
Or maybe the last game doesnt have a king because in chess you lose by checkmate. But you cant be checkmate when u dont have king. Bending rules or cheating is fine until ur caught. As long as celestia stays asleep they dont really need a king. The traista is only there as a symbol of peoples hatred against celestia. But the king piece doesn’t actually do anything other than move out of danger. The traveler is a strong unit while the king is arguably the weakest. So if the traista is the king then in the final game they might see no use in her and just act independently. Or instead of having traveler as king they might be a hedge bet for if the traista fails and the traveler takes on the responsibility.
In My opinion, The Pawn is the most precious chess piece. It can be anything it wants to be (except the king) That's why i think the Traveler is a.. or more THE Pawn and Maybe ( 12:11 ) Paimon is the King ?.....
@@GenshinBane One interesting thing I've learned recently. Maybe the Traveler's powers come from Paimon. She led us to the Archon statue in Mond. The description of the Traveler's talents often says "you and Paimon learned / looked ...". Maybe she gives us immunity to the abyss. We might underestimate her. I like the idea that the king is Paimon (guided us became stronger).
@@WhiteAiAnd in Albedo's story quest Albedo said that if Paimon managed to guide the traveler to have anemo powers, she must be strong enough to cut through mountains at least 10 cm thick or make the river in springvale flow backwards
If Traveler is the Primordial One (specifically one half of them), this would make even more sense. The Fatui may be wrong about Traveler's motivations in that case. One of the main themes of Genshin has to do with fighting fate and choosing one's own path. Traveler being part of the Primordial One would be completely irrelevant if they decide that the dragons deserve their power back, thus the Fatui would be wrong about whose side the Traveler is on. Alternatively, the Traveler could be related to the dragons. Perhaps they are even a member of the Unified Civilization, which I believe to have existed during the era of the dragons, contrary to what the Primordial One wants Teyvat to believe. Then Traveler and their sibling have good reason to fight for Khaenri'ah and the dragons, because they come from that civilization. So then the Fatui would only need to capture the king- Traveler- if they needed the power of the dragons. Perhaps they do, but they don't know it yet. The Fatui may not have realized that the Gnoses alone aren't enough to fight Celestia. They need a greater power... the power of a dragon. That's just my idea though. I'm personally leaning more towards Traveler and their twin being the Primordial One because it feels more narratively satisfying for them to fight back against Celestia if they come from the same being that runs Celestia. It would be the perfect way to make the theme of fighting fate come full circle.
Look for what I understood (if Im wrong pls let me know) is that youre saying that the traveler could be the primordial one and he could be related to dragons, and that the Fatui and the Tsaritsa would not be able to fight against celestia by just using the gonses and that they need the of the traveler to fight against it. If what I was right about understanding your comment, then you might have something wrong, because celestia is all about the primordial one and the four shades (shade if life, shade of death, shade of time, and I forgot what was the fourth one), so there is no way that traveler (aka the primordial one) eould fight himself and his 4 shades. If you want to say about his twin being also related to celestia, I also dont think so because we already know that Lumine is the princess if the abyss so she cannot be one of the celestia members or anything related to that. And in my opinion, I dont think the goal of the Tsaritsa is to fight against celestia. Back in Fonatine's archon quest, we've from Skirk that the 3rd descender has created the gonse, so the goal if the Tsaritsa could be gathering all the seven gnoses together to bring the 3rd descender back to life. Why? Thats what I'm curious about.
I disagree, the traveler doesn't necessarily see celestia as an enemy, it's the siblings who does, and the traveler have consistently been shown to be mistrustful of the fatui, so a full on alliance is unlikely, and most importantly this theory doesn't account for the sibling.
Which is why Traveler is on the Archon side till game 5.. although Traveler is wary of the fatui im sure they have enough reason to side with the Fatui. Also , the chessboard doesn't need to cover everything going on in the story , this chessboard was only shown in the Fatui trailer so i doubt it needs to include the Abyss, Hexenzirkel , etc.
This is assuming that the fatui will obtain the Pyro gnosis but I believe that it will either be destroyed OR given to the traveler (to unlock pyro traveler)
Loooong time ago I've commented in many videos that I think that the Traveller will eventually join the Fatui coz the Fatui and Traveller are getting more and more friendly... And their goals kinda align from the start... For Fatui, it's remaking the world from scratch by taking over Celestia. For Traveller, it's defeating the Unknown God... And I also used to say that Abyss Order is not that big of an issue, Fatui is the real deal. Just imagine now, two siblings on two big sides
I believe while yes Focalors can be a knight, Furina is not. She is one of the remaining pawns on the board. I mean you theorized that pawns can also be vision holders, and now furina is a normal human vision holder..and not to mention she survived the ordeal. Thus i feel she is one of the pawns on the board.
The Lord of the Night mention the Light Realm where Light element is the source of the seven elements, MC is the most important piece in the board: The King.
if you think about, you can kinda tell with piece each gnosis represents by looking at the slimes: the cryo and geo's shields look like the top of the rook, the pyro and hydro horns' look like the ears of horse (the knight), and electro's antena and the dendro flower thing look like the top part of the bishop. however the anemo slimes dont have anything that resembles the queen piece, which ones again leads to the conclusion that venti is sus af
10:06 It is funny how everyone says that the Fatui will help us. But going through the trailer several times, I never see a single scene where they fight beside us, only that they run towards the battle. They could after all use the situation and attack us too. The chance is low, but not zero.
I read a theory that also linked this idea to the slimes and their chest pieces, hydro and pyro slimes have horns which represents the knight, geo and cryo have shields so the rook, dendro and electro have two variations of themselves, and the anemo slime can fly above all so queen.
10:44 hold up. The idea of Natlan people being dragons makes so much sense on things with Natlan when the area was considered the land of dragons but so far we got certain creatures that may or may not fit that description. Also the idea of elemental uhhh basis and dragons are previously a thing no? Natlan is the one area where people seem to be in tribes which uphold a bit of elemental standing, even though the characters can wield other visions.
i also saw a theory where they talked about the loading screen, where the same chess pieces are next to each other, the odd one out being anemo. pyro, hydro the knights - anemo the queen - electro, dendro the bishops - cryo, geo the rooks
I remember seeing someone put in the same move that happens in the trailer. Litterally as soon as the knight takes Signora, Celestia's chances of winning are close to if not zero
no , the electro gnosis WAS posessed by EI , she just gave it to miko when she didnt find any use for it likely after crafting her puppet/body raiden shogun (and previously scaramuche)
With all insights considered in this Video, I have a feeling that the "Black Side" Chess Pieces not only have the Harbingers in their ranks but also Tsaritsa is included among the other Pieces the other Twin as the "King". Tsaritsa, if she really is involved with Fatui Operations, is still against Celestia as well and would do anything to defy them. As for the other Twin, it is because they despise Celestia the most and if this Video holds water to the Traveler being the "White King", we can also assume that Celestia is using Traveler for something (was a sleeper agent this whole time). That in mind, considering that Signora, as said in this Video, is just a Pawn, that means a fair portion of the Harbingers are also just Pawns, which leaves out the Black Side's Queen, Bishops, Knights, and Rooks. Who would they be, I wonder? Would the other Archons like to involves themselves in this war, maybe? As for Pierro, I have a feeling his role on the Chessboard is just the "Player", not on the board among the Pieces and who kmows, the White Side "Player" was us Players all along... XD
As much as we consider Gnosis having powers, we still have 6 Archons in the game having their elemental authorities. Geo one is very suspected to be a descender or higher being than Archon, Anemo one hides his powers of wind and time and links to Istaroth (one of 4 shades) to the point that his Story Quest no.2 is under Hoyo's arrest, Electro one openly prepares for upcoming war, Dendro one still promised us to clarify who are other descenders. Archons and their uprising against Celestia will be important too, not only Gnosis.
It sounds impossible for a descender to be an archon. If you thought it was due to his age, Venti and Ei also have unknown specific age. Venti is >2600 Ei is >5000 since she has lived before Tanuki-Kitsune war
If this theory are right then that would mean that in game 6(Khaenriah) we will be fighting on two front Venti(Queen), Zhongli(Rook), Tsaritsa(Rook) against black queen on one side. Traveller(King) and Ei(Bishop) or Nahida(Bishop) against black king? That would also mean that Mavuika(Knight) might be dead sometime in 5.x patch as we saw Focalor(knights) died during fontaine quest. That would explain the missing Knights pieces. But meh this is just some random thoughts. Idk much about chess game tbh
It would make sense that the Traveler is the Missing peace because it was stated that the Traveler is a Decender „a being who is able to object Fate” and the grand plan of the will most like be to destroy Celestia and or irminsul with the leyline, the very entity/'s who write about the „Fate of the world” and with that to destroy Fate itself, so it would only make sense if they need for the „Destruktion of Fate” a being which can't be controlled by Fate
@@GenshinBane I hope not, I hope that he just pretends to be weak for now and that’s maybe why he is just like bard with lyre and bow but he will show his powers in the future, in the past he used catalyst ( he is even mentioned in description of Skyward Atlas), according to manga he even once practiced the art of forgery in order to play pranks on Zhongli hundreds years ago, Venti created fake treaty to save people of Mondstadt from aristocracy so it’s very possible that he is hiding his true identity and power now and he will use it later into the future
I have a theory on why it happened. It's because the Pyro element will only be unlocked in the final chapter of the story When the Pyro Archon will give the Gnosis to the traveller and not to the Fatui. Because if the Fatui have the last Gnosis, what is there to stop Tsaritsa's Plan of Rebelion against the Heveanly principles. Also, it will move the story forward for the next nation, Schneznaya if the Traveler has the Pyro Gnosis by the end the Fatui will focus solely on the Traveler to get it no matter what and what a better advantage in the Home nation of the Cyro Archon. The biggest evidence that I have was from the very beginning when Dainsleif explained the Nation of War is. "THE PYRO ARCHON SHARED HER SECRETS WITH THE TRAVELLER". And to my understanding with that level of trust to be able to sharre her deepest secrets to the traveller has a high chance of the Pyro Archon to rely and depend on Aether/Lumine for the future of the people in Natlan.
Someone told me that the order of the elements on the loading screen is actually the order of the chess pieces, might be something interesting to look into 🥰
Also for traveler theory the king was close to the knight (ei) who killed the pawn(signora) and Is Always on the front lines.. the king Is the traveler 🎉
After finishing chapter 3 and 4 of the Natlan archon quest i'm wondering if the pyro gnosis is actually the king (it does look pretty fancy as compared to the other three we have seen after all). While the abyssal invasion of Natlan has thus far been phrased primarily as a Natlan problem I was wondering if it maybe goes deeper than that. I.E. If Natlan falls to the Abyss wouldn't it hypothetically make it easier for the abyss to raid the other nations (in other words if Natlan falls Teyvat loses to the the abyss the way Khaenriah did; and what happens in chess if the king falls...?). If this were the case, it would make sense for the Tsarita to send her strongest harbinger to give Natlan the highest chance of surviving, the fact that Capitano has a personal connection to the nation in this case is just a bonus. Though this does create a significant question since in this case we don't know the who, what or where of the second knight.
But there's a problem.... The Traveler's data is not in Irmansul. We're not part of Teyvat, we're not the ones being used as a pawn...but we are playing the game. We sided ourselves with the Archons. And sure, you can argue that Raiden isn't on our side during the fight against LA Signora, but she would eventually join us. That's been the whole game this time, the side of the Fatui, wanting the Gnosis against the side of Traveler and friends, the Traveler being a bystander fighting alongside the Archons. This theory makes so much sense when you mentioned Scaramouche. He erased himself from Irmansul, a place that the Traveler isn't recorded in, Scara doesn't show up again, but Hat Guy does. But the Fatui does still need a king. And they know of a potential candidate, recorded in Irmansul and we're gonna help them get them. Looking through the Travail trailer, you can see our various potential helpers and friends through the regions, and for Snezhnayah it shows Pulcinella, a seemingly random person until we get to Winter's Lazzo, that reveals he's a Harbinger. In Snezhnayah, we will team up with the Fatui, we will go and get our potential King piece, the Abyss Prince/Princess, who will ascend to the throne, our Abyss Sibling. It makes so much sense with how the story in Natlan has shifted heavily to the fight against the Abyss, and why stop suddenly at just this region just to skip over it until Khaenri'ah story. The ball will continue rolling, the story will shift heavily to the Abyss attacking Snezhnayah, wanting the Gnosis power for themselves to finally fight Celestia, but we'll save our sibling from their clutches, free them, and with the Gnosis, ascend them. Remember, checkmate is not where the game ends. Even after winning against the Abyss, and fighting Celestia later on, we would still have a bigger threat on the horizon.
my theory is that, lumine/abyss sibling is the king piece. know the latest quest said, LIGHT REFLECTS 7 COLORS too. which means if lumine had her full power, she could be kind and what if we are just pawn since a pawn can be any piece after 6 steps ( nations in genshin ) @GenshinBane maybe we will be more powerful after natlan and as theorized earlier, muvika will die and will give power to traveler soooo, does that mean we are the pawn??
@@Minjoie Yup. I believe mavuika will die somehow but the traveller will not be the Archon but will travel to the night kingdom to bring back Mavuika with capitano where Capitano will die to save Mavuika and Natlan and Mavuika will lost some of her power and Archon-hood and Natlan will become a Archon -less nation where the 6 tribes will make decisions togather as a council .
Personally, I don't think the "king" piece would be the traveller. Rememeber the traveller is yet a descendant, which is to mena they do not belong to Teyvat. If anything, PAimon lloks kinda sus in this situation. There has been a lot of theories about her being the Primordial One, which gave land to the archons and rule over them, what could be more fitting for a King than that? I was sceptic at frist, but the more things like this reveal, the more I jump into "Paimon = Heavenly Principle" wagon
the 8 pawns in game 6 could be the remaining 8 harbingers, although that would mean Pierro is not included unless Capitano dies in Natlan but I doubt they'd permanently kill him

I Think the King is either the Traveler or Paimon. If Paimon isn't the King, then she is the Player.
Think about it
I think the analysis of game number 5 could change significantly if we go with the idea that the *traveller* gets the gnosis. Idk how that would change things
8:17 If you don't mind me asking, can you share where you got that beautiful footage from?
I feel like you’re cooking but I don’t feel like reading all that😭

Here is a theory
The travler is not a king but actually just a pawn
It takes a pawn 6 moves to become a queen
There fore it takes the travler 6 nations after mondstadt(starting position) to become an archon of sorts maybe something like the archon of hope or people or wishes of the people
There fore by the end of shneznaya we will acquire the gnosises from the tsaritsa so we (now the queen ) can fight/ check mate celestia (the king of opposite collor)
The first time a pawn moves, it can move 2 spaces in a single turn - kind of like how we visited both Mondstat and Liyue on our opening turn.
wat wtf ur onto something
Keep cooking
there is also a theory that the traveler might be the one holding on to the pyro gnosis at the end of natlan AQ as a bargaining chip for the tsaritsa, so that is how we transition to sneznhaya
I love this theory!
Nice.

Thanks!!
Me too
as a chess board myself, I don't know what to think about this
Someone made this video 2 years ago.
Ask venti about it he is the key 😂
Maybe she thought if the traveler couldn't survive all that, it meant he wasn't the one she was waiting for in the first place
We already have the slime + loading screen theory which makes guessing the pieces easier tho
It pairs every two elements except anemo, like the slimes do
@@tommyreiss5457 oo
Talking abt the traveler being the king piece reminded me of what was mentioned at the end of fountains quest, how the gnosis is the remains of the 3rd descender, and how the traveler is the 4th descender. And that the traveler has similar properties to the gnosis in that they interact with elements in interesting ways. The traveler could be the king piece after all as their body interacts with tevats elements similarly to the gnosis.
Yess!
Finally someone made perfect sense of all the factors of the chess theory, brother you cooked with this one 🔥🔥
Thank you!!
Interestingly (though probably a coincidence), the elements order in the game (Pyro, Hydro, Anemo, Electro, Dendro, Cryo, Geo) has them paired as in your chess pieces theory:
Hydro and Pyro as knights, Electro and Dendro as bishops, Cryo and Geo as the rooks, and Anemo as an outlier as the queen.

@@weakestdemon9422 This also implies that the one Dainsleif is trying to save is the Original rather than the Clone…
i mean from the "ancient name" talk for the traveler, it seems like we may become a piece on the board soon? which would align with the theory of the fatui wanting to gain the "king".
13:28 it could also be that the tsaritsta would kill the travelers sibling and they turn into a gnosis since gnosise are dead descenders, and the traveler siblings are descenders, meaning they did not come from this world
Maybe
Ooh yesss thats such a good catch!
There was a piece of dialogue from one of the melusines that pretty much confirms paimon is from celestia so that's possible!!
@@kikoshaula wait you’re actually right. the Melusine called Paimon “a rainbow balloon with a string attached to the sky” which means Paimon is from Celestia and the rainbow represents all 7 elements in the game.
Somebody had mentioned in the comments that Paimon could be the Player which sounds very possible and cool

Am i cooking?
wait youre cooking
2:23 i think the additional black pawn was childe since he appeared in liyue archon quest alongside of zhongli and then left as if nothing happened
Also a side note, in both cases its a distraction like how childe wasnt part of the main plan of liyue archon gnosis and this chess piece didnt play any role in game either

Hot take: The Fatui aren't truly evil. They are out to "help" the world, but on their own terms and by their own beliefs.
is this a hot take
It's not really a hot take tbh
I love theory videos like this! You guys are excellent cooks! Hehe
Thank you so much 😀!
@@GenshinBane honestly you are the only theorist/lore analyst to give emphasis to the chess theory despite the fact that we all did see that part in the winter night's laso cutscene.

@@GenshinBane ohh I see
Theory time, I might be wrong but this is just for fun afterall:
There is another candidate for the King piece Gnosis, Surtalogi, look closely at Skirk's dialogues and you'll know what I mean.
Then, burn away the old world for me."
-The Tsaritsa, Shivada Jade Gemstone
What make me feel weird about this is the fact that Dainsleif most likely knew about project Stuzha and maybe even Surtalogi's involvement, yet he does nothing about it.
Collected Miscellany Childe:
"An icy storm is starting to blow towards the other nations. Brace yourselves, Teyvat is about to get cold."
-Dainsleif
So here's the thing, either Surtalogi have the King Piece or the Tsaritsa just give her Gnosis to him for some unknown reasons.
This is just a theory afterall, a game theory.
This is quite interesting... however i think a connection between Surtalogi and the Tsaritsa seems unlikely..nevertheless this sounds very cool!
@@GenshinBane thanks, it is definitely one of my better theory, almost as good as my other theory about Surtalogi being Gold's first "human" son.
Oh wow i wud love to hear about that one!
@@GenshinBane
Ok so this theory might be a bit scuffs, I mean I come up with this theory while I was in the shower... don't asked how long I spend in there, also I at a debunking part so this will be longer then my other comment.
You see the more I think about it, the more I noticed a pattern with Gold's creations
First stage, the beginning-beasts with animalistic natural and low intelligence (aka the rift wolfs her first creations)
Second stage, the development-beasts with human level intelligence (like Durin and Elynas)
Third stage, the finish "product"-artificial humans with high intelligence (aka Albedo and if my theory is correct then Surtalogi too).
Theory:
Gold might be infertile (or can't get pregnant) you see it is a common myth or belief that witches cannot get pregnant, yes Alice is Klee's mom but what if the same cannot be said for everyone else like say Gold (where am I going with this?
Debunking
Why I called Gold a royal?
-According to Dainsleif Albedo title back in Khaenriah was Kreideprinz translate to English means chalk prince and Gold is Albedo's mom so...yeah.
Why did I say that Surtalogi have impurity?
-Surtalogi title is The Foul.
Dirty, filthy, foul, nasty, squalid mean conspicuously unclean or impure.
Why did I say Gold have emotional attachment to Surtalogi?
-because unlike Albedo's brother (susbedo) he is still walking around, either that or he just run away from Gold
Why did I say he was a creation of Gold and is the cause of Khaenriah demise?
Matpat refrence

The pawns could also be the Archons' familiars and then Dain.
Although, the nations being the pawns makes more sense to me.
In My opinion, The Pawn is the most precious chess piece. It can be anything it wants to be (except the king)
That's why i think the Traveler is a.. or more THE Pawn and Maybe ( 12:11 ) Paimon is the King ?.....
Maybe one sibling is the king and another a pawn
Interesting..i doubt Paimon is even in the game
🤔🧐 interesting
@@lyonkaji4559 It's just a theory at this point, we really don't know anything yet 🤷
That would be epic haha
I believe while yes Focalors can be a knight, Furina is not. She is one of the remaining pawns on the board. I mean you theorized that pawns can also be vision holders, and now furina is a normal human vision holder..and not to mention she survived the ordeal. Thus i feel she is one of the pawns on the board.

if you think about, you can kinda tell with piece each gnosis represents by looking at the slimes: the cryo and geo's shields look like the top of the rook, the pyro and hydro horns' look like the ears of horse (the knight), and electro's antena and the dendro flower thing look like the top part of the bishop. however the anemo slimes dont have anything that resembles the queen piece, which ones again leads to the conclusion that venti is sus af
Yup!!
Remember the old theory on how slimes design might represent the gnosis designs? It checks out against this video.
Do you know were you have red this theory? It sounds very interesting to me

Also the idea of elemental uhhh basis and dragons are previously a thing no? Natlan is the one area where people seem to be in tribes which uphold a bit of elemental standing, even though the characters can wield other visions.
Hold up, capitano, and his forces helped natlan, yo bro. Whate hell

i also saw a theory where they talked about the loading screen, where the same chess pieces are next to each other, the odd one out being anemo. pyro, hydro the knights - anemo the queen - electro, dendro the bishops - cryo, geo the rooks
oooh yea that could support this theory too
I remember seeing someone put in the same move that happens in the trailer. Litterally as soon as the knight takes Signora, Celestia's chances of winning are close to if not zero
pyro&hydro being knights also goes very well with knight piece symbolism being strength and strategy, strength for mavuika and strategy for focalors
I agree!

XD
Yea Pierro is definitely the Player
As much as we consider Gnosis having powers, we still have 6 Archons in the game having their elemental authorities.
Geo one is very suspected to be a descender or higher being than Archon, Anemo one hides his powers of wind and time and links to Istaroth (one of 4 shades) to the point that his Story Quest no.2 is under Hoyo's arrest, Electro one openly prepares for upcoming war, Dendro one still promised us to clarify who are other descenders.
Archons and their uprising against Celestia will be important too, not only Gnosis.
True true..
It sounds impossible for a descender to be an archon. If you thought it was due to his age, Venti and Ei also have unknown specific age.
Venti is >2600
Ei is >5000 since she has lived before Tanuki-Kitsune war
If this theory are right then that would mean that in game 6(Khaenriah) we will be fighting on two front Venti(Queen), Zhongli(Rook), Tsaritsa(Rook) against black queen on one side. Traveller(King) and Ei(Bishop) or Nahida(Bishop) against black king? That would also mean that Mavuika(Knight) might be dead sometime in 5.x patch as we saw Focalor(knights) died during fontaine quest. That would explain the missing Knights pieces. But meh this is just some random thoughts. Idk much about chess game tbh
Since Mavuika is fated to die according to the latest AQ i think this could be possible!
Me and my friends came up with this theory that the pyro gnosis could be a promoted queen but i have to see the real chess game
Thats a great theory!
I really like the tearoy but what chess piece traveller represent
The King
I’m going to be fine with whatever ending as long as Venti will not get hurt 😭
I dunno why but i feel like Venti is gonna sacrifice himself for sure
@@GenshinBane I hope not, I hope that he just pretends to be weak for now and that’s maybe why he is just like bard with lyre and bow but he will show his powers in the future, in the past he used catalyst ( he is even mentioned in description of Skyward Atlas), according to manga he even once practiced the art of forgery in order to play pranks on Zhongli hundreds years ago, Venti created fake treaty to save people of Mondstadt from aristocracy so it’s very possible that he is hiding his true identity and power now and he will use it later into the future
Yes, the white knight represents Ei because it even showed a purple spark when turning.
I have a theory on why it happened.
It's because the Pyro element will only be unlocked in the final chapter of the story
When the Pyro Archon will give the Gnosis to the traveller and not to the Fatui.
12:00 Khanriah piece?
U mentioned everything in detail 😮 and I don't think you are wrong 😮 btw great video.
Thank you!!
@@GenshinBane btw how is abyss soo smart??
No idea... They might be a collective conciousness which makes them so smart
This theory are accurate and as lore hunter in genshin, you precisely explain it
Thank you!
What if... everything we've done was merely a dream... That would be in sain ....
Ikr insanee
@@GenshinBane it would be crazy I might even be in shock for days... Can't wait for the next archon quest!!!😆
Wow, So complicated. The story of genshin impact build is so deep and intens getting trhough every regions 'till ends
As somebody who has barely even touched a chess board, somehow this makes sense because.. ???
Good theory btw!
Thanks!!
Someone told me that the order of the elements on the loading screen is actually the order of the chess pieces, might be something interesting to look into 🥰
I. am. SPEECHLESS
YOU COOKED SO HARD. 5 STAR MICHELIN DISH PERHAPS
Also for traveler theory
the king was close to the knight (ei) who killed the pawn(signora) and Is Always on the front lines.. the king Is the traveler 🎉
Thats what i said in the video 😁
I think the king could be Dain or our sibling, and rather that traveler is a pawn as they can gain the powers of all the other pieces.
Mind-boggling 👀✨
Yesss
Interesting..
12:42 I thought dainsleif
Yup
@@GenshinBane yup
The foreshadowing in genshin lore is on the level of one piece fr
I agree
What if The traveler twin is the King piece and traveler is the 8th pawn ...!!!!!!!!
Ooooh maybe
my theory is that, lumine/abyss sibling is the king piece. know the latest quest said, LIGHT REFLECTS 7 COLORS too. which means if lumine had her full power, she could be kind and what if we are just pawn since a pawn can be any piece after 6 steps ( nations in genshin ) @GenshinBane
maybe we will be more powerful after natlan and as theorized earlier, muvika will die and will give power to traveler soooo, does that mean we are the pawn??
We have proof that Cryo Gnosis is in the hand of the Tsarisa? Most of the Archons don''t even possess it anymore.
Except ei , all archons did have the gnosis so pretty sure Tsaritsa does too
the 8 pawns in game 6 could be the remaining 8 harbingers, although that would mean Pierro is not included
unless Capitano dies in Natlan but I doubt they'd permanently kill him
Or maybe 1 pawn just indicates the Fatui as a whole
what if the king piece was a secret gnosis for the light element? or maybe whatever dainsleif's element is?
Honestly an amazing theory
Thank you!
The Fatui already got the hydro gnosis, but we still haven’t seen the how it looks like.. and what is the design
Hopefully not like a horse
These videos are the reason why I love this game and this community so much.❤ such a vast world with limitless possibilities. So many characters and their individual and collective journeys. Genshin and one piece are just peak.❤
Yess genshin's story is just fantastic!
5.1 archon quest: capitano🤝mavuika
the traveler is a descender, the gnoses are made out of the third descenders' corpse..
Yup
Nice theory but unfortunately I heavily doubt that the Fatui would sit and wait for the traveler to arrive after having all gnoses.
Leaving a comment here so when natlan is done and then snezhnaya, I can come back and tell you how damn right you were
Hahaha lets hope so!
Kinda bit of a bum not being to see the hydro gnosis but it was same for electro gnosis which appeared very much later* in Sumeru
What if the pawns resemble the nation because the gnosis is a different piece
Hmmm, what if the king piece is the Third Descender instead of the Fourth? Great video either way
Possible but since the third descender is dead i think the 4th would suffice and thanks!!
@@GenshinBane Trueeeee, but if all of the Third Remnants are coming together, who knows what'll happen?
i think this theory is correct. it was not ei who took down signora it was the raiden shogun represented by the knight.
I heard that the pyro archon will give the gnosis to the traveller in the end of natlan story quest.
That doesn't seem impossible tbh
Idk if this mentioned in a video cuz i got this idea in 1:06, but we actually AWARE of actual AI in genshin impact. It's was mentioned in some text and i don't know details but it's probably from Celestia. And now the chess game being ai vs human is very cool and odd detail.
imagine we need to play chess as the final boss fight in genshin
Imagine the opponent is stockfish😂
I'll be done for
Love your videos, i hope the traveler will get the pyro gnosis if not i am sure he will be frozen the moment he step into snezhnaya
Thanks! I hope the same too
