    I would like to see a Dodge Ramcharger body on there!! And I feel like anything smaller than 1/24th scale would be micro, 1/24th up to maybe 1/16 would be mini.

    I’ve had horrible luck with mine. If you wanna get it and run it straight how it is out of the box it’s ok I guess. If you wanna do any upgrades then it’s gonna start breaking. I’ve finally got mine running after switching driveshafts to the scx24 driveshafts and giving it some rc4wd wheels and tires. It has bushings all throughout which suck! Plastic gears are insane. The battery included is a 1s and has ZERO power. Huge diff covers or pumpkins that drag on everything. I don’t even wanna get started with the throttle response 😂. Can’t believe Team Associated or “element” would even put their name on this thing. Sorry but I’m not gonna sugar coat this thing like everyone else on RUclips is.

    . Would need to so much to it just to make it crawl right. It needs a Holmes hobbies revolver motor if you can fit one. Not worth it. Might be good for your kids tho to get them to stop bugging you to drive your axial scx24

      Scale Builder's Guild U both should watch 2fm rc’s review. Now he is a small youtuber and not a pro by any means but that also makes him have child-like honesty. Lol. He does 3-4 videos on the element and tries to almost talk himself out of bashing it at some points. Not saying by any means that he’s the only review or opinion, but it is a good small time honest review on a very disappointing truck from a big name rc company. So in that right, it might be considered a bit garbage. Just saying🤷‍♂️😂

    I have both the scx24 and this truck, I find there is some stuff that the scx24 won’t climb but the enduro24 will and vise versa. I find the drag brake in the enduro is actually pretty good with the stock body, but that might change with the addition of a hard body. And yeah the 1/20 AMT Toyota body is a perfect wheel base match for the enduro.

    I have both the SCX24 C10 and Enduro 24. Purchased Axial 2 weeks ago and already 2 burnt ESC and a Motor----really annoyed with the Axial product and nothing in stock here to replace burnt stuff. I ended up picking up the Enduro tonight to deal with my newfound 24 addiction awaiting a new brushless setup for my Axial. The Enduro out of the box to me was a better performer compared to the C10, I think partly due to the sticky tires and springs. I've been a Team Associated Fan for years and years and not one of them has let me down. My RC18T2 has been boom-proof and still runs like a champ. My favorite go-to brand though is Arma if they made a 24th scale sign me up.

    Not "of course" tires are glued to the rims. Other 1/24 (Hobby Plus, Amewi, Uruav trucks, Devastator and similar crawlers, 1/18 Atlas 6x6, ...) do have real beadlock wheels, what is supercool for tuning with wheel weights and foams.

    • @scalebuildersguild

      @@scalebuildersguild Yes - but the "new ones" do have beadlocks, and this is really cool. Struggeling to make wheel weights e.g. also for the Mini-Z 4x4 (glued on wheels), but not in the CR-24, Atlas, ...
      This is a really cool feature and those tiny beadlocks work perfectly.
      You should make a review of a CR-24 ;-) (Defender, Jeep), they are sold as Uruav, Amewi, Hobby Plus (guess Hobby Plus is original).
      The new hardbodies for Mini-z 4x4 (Defender, Mercedes) from Asiatees and RcMart fit perfectly to those (and probably also the Element 1/24).

    I would call 1/24 or 1/18 mini and micro would be 1/32 and smaller (like the 1/87 trucks). I would like to get one of these and an SCX24 and some scale model bodies for them. I've had a Devastator for a couple of years and it does have worm gears and beadlock wheels. It's sold as a 1/24, but it has a 1/32 Ford truck body which makes it a 1/32 monster truck. The chassis is more like a comp crawler so fitting a scale body is very difficult.

      Sorry you feel that way. But where did you feel I wasn't honest in this review? The layout is fresh (to me) for this scale, offers a lot of opportunities for modifying and adding your own body, shocks are springy, and it could use a motor upgrade. All of these points are the truth. If I were to do a comparison video, absolutely the SCX24 would score higher, but this isn't a comparo.

    • @sitlos.
      @sitlos. 4 года назад +1

      Scale Builder's Guild I wasn’t necessarily trying to offend u, I was just surprised that u would recommend this knowing there are way better options at similar pricing. So, the body is junk compared to any other 24th scale. (Fresh because it’s so cheap and looks like a basher not a scale crawler.. lol). The others are all hard body with most on hinges and way more detail. Also the bushings are junk. The driveshafts break or come off as soon as u use a 2 cell lipo which is definitely the minimal these little rigs should have. The power is terrible. The slow crawl on this is jumpy as hell and makes it hard to crawl. It’s either all or nothing with the trigger which is annoying and weird. Most upgrades I’ve done on mine (if I can find them) just make something else on the truck break. The bigger pumpkins are always gettin hung up and are way to big for this little rig. And the fact that they rebranded a very underwhelming older rig is lame for a big company like element. The tires are a bit small which is also a problem for clearance. Not having worn gears actually makes drag brake terrible compared to other little crawlers. The servo being mounted on the chassis is a negative cause it only allows for so much shock articulation and this is is a bummer. Oh, and Phillips head screws!?!?!? Seriously, hobby grade!?!?!?🤦‍♂️💩🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️. There is definitely more that I could say but I just though u would of said what it wasn’t along with what it was. Didn’t expect U to just bash it but it doesn’t really deserve a great/good review either. Wish I watched other people’s reviews before I bought it and completely wasted my time and money. I gave it to the kids and once it’s broke that’s it, it’s going in the trash. It’s nothing but frustrating and disappointing imo. Do not waste time and money when u could buy sxc24 for nearly same price. Again. Not trying to be a a-hole because I enjoy ur channel very much but this 24th scale is terrible and I would hate to see people waste their money if they saw ur video and had a good feeling after seeing it. That’s why I was disappointed I guess. It was kinda false advertising in a way.

    • @scalebuildersguild
      @scalebuildersguild  4 года назад

      A few things you might want to clarify. The only hard body mini I can think of is from RC4WD. The Axial body, while hinged, is still lexan. Bushings are pretty common at this scale. Using a 2S Lipo is obviously going to break things, as it's overpowering a stock driveline. I wouldn't do that in an SCX24 either. I'm with you on drag brake not being good, and say so in the review. Axial's the only one I can think of using Hex hardware. As it's a mini/micro RC, in it's own right, it's not that bad, certainly not as bad as you're implying. But, that's the great thing about opinions, we're all entitled to one!

    • @sitlos.
      @sitlos. 4 года назад +1

      Scale Builder's Guild well since the axial comes with a 2 s lipo stock l, which u should of know probably, that’s probably what the element should of had and I hope u are running!?!? Also ur right, the scx does have lexan but it’s way way nicer more options and I think we both could agree. The hex hardware should be a must in a hobby grade car 24th scale or not. and that we could agree also I’m sure. I stripped 3 screws in the first few days and I am very careful and meticulous with all my vehicles. Watch a few other small youtuber reviews (ones that actually paid for it) on this element and then u will see that I’m definitely not over playing the negative build and quality of this truck. And I agree, opinions make America great and I respect ur opinion but I unfortunately do not agree with you on this. And by the look of ur post on this video, I’m not alone. 😉👍. Can I ask u an honest question? Being that the truck was sent to u free, could u of even gave an honest review if u wanted??? Probably a lot of grey in that question and ur answer but my point is probably already made. And like I said matt, I like ur channel and enjoy ur content so I respectfully say that my opinions/truths about this truck are not personal and I hope we can shake hands and move on my friend. Hope u have a nice day and weekend. 🤝🤙✌️

      DargoDog do you have any other 1/24s? If not I would definitely get the scx24 over this thing. Trust me I have 5 scx24s and I’ve never broken as much on them as I have this thing. One of my scx24s is even running 3s on a Holmes revolver brushless system with stock driveline and I still haven’t broken anything. I put a 2s lipo in the E24 and broke the driveshafts and a dog bone the first time I tried to climb anything. Bigger tires don’t work because they will run the chassis,shocks and front bumper. I had to mount rc4wd steel beadlocks backwards to widen the truck enough to slap on some bigger tires to help the massive pumpkins clear anything lol. I didn’t come here to push my channel. Just trying to save people money. You can however check out my problems and comparisons between the two on my channel if interested. If you really want a challenge and don’t mind wasting money go for the element. That’s why I bought it and I have still became so aggravated with it that I’ve all but gave up on it lol. The throttle response is horrible! It has bushings,Phillips head screws and many many more issues.

      DargoDog no problem. Like I said I wouldn’t try to push anything on anyone but I also don’t wanna see people waste their money without at least being warned lol

    One question what is better the axial scx 10ii or the Trx 4 sport kit and your videos are awesome

      Traxxas if ur crawling probably. Just can’t beat it. It’s a beast.

      They both have their merits. I prefer the licensed body/excellent details/scale accuracy and dig feature of the SCX10III, but the Traxxas TRX4 Sport Kit is very robust and well engineered. Comes down to what you place importance on. Both will perform admirably with upgrades, or box stock!

      Scale Builder's Guild thank you ya and I’m on the fence it will be my first crawler and I’m just Nervous because there both good I just didn’t know

    • @sitlos.
      @sitlos. 4 года назад +1

      The scxlll does have a way way nicer body no question. The dig is nice but they were to cheap to even give u the ability out of the box to use 2 speed trans and dig?! Weird but the axial still looks a lot better. I’d say for trail crawling the axial would be a great choice but if u wanna make it a rock crawler I still would choose the trx4 probably. Lower cg and the drivetrain and gearing is way better. Either truck is a good choice tho. Do some reviews on both depending on how you want to use it and maybe that will help you decide buddy. 👍

      Also his videos and harleys are amazing! Great duo and the trx6x6 challenge was truly one of the best. Very epic and I think matt could of had him honestly. Next time Matt. Next time! Lol😁

      I don't think you'll see that on the SBG. I didn't find it to be all that useful in my stable. Certainly an interesting and unique looking truck, but the chassis design leaves a lot to be desired.

      @@scalebuildersguild I havent even seen the chassis. Just bashing and dusty donuts.
      Maybe squid shows it on the unboxing? But yeah its odd. I am curious as this is part of a new subline from CEN. call me cautiously excited?
      If I had an rc race boat, this thing would tow it for sure though.

    I wonder why you guys totally ignore the originals... and then do reviews of the "American copies". I am sure Banggood would have sent you an original RGT for free, or an Uruav Defender with beadlocks. Can somewhat understand (but hate) this "America first attitude" from Josh, ... but you are Canadian...
