This video infuriates me! Because of this video I've spent more money on my SCX24 than the purchase price of the car. LOL Just kidding. Not mad at all. As a matter of fact, it's one of my favorite RCs.
I also got out for a while and came back with an scx24, got the green c10 and I'm loving it! Only problem I've had after a month of ownership was the stock motor gave up on me. Replacement is only 8 bucks and is pretty easy to change out though

@@AdventureSparks Yeah! I recommended this for my nephew and they've gone thru 3 chargers now. WTF? I'd really like to see him get into the hobby (and I want a couple for myself) but that sucks. RTR SHOULD mean it's pretty bulletproof.
Replaced mine with a Spektrum S150 & an ICS3 -> JST adaptor bought from Amain. Works a charm, charging at 0.5A! Recommended. Though ironically, my stock charger is working fine after about 20 uses still....
I also had problems with the charger on the second use it literally melted itself. I called and they did send me another. But yeah I used my own hobby grade after that

@@AMain_Hobbies What is a good beginner crawler because my friend has a SCX24 and he just lit his esc on fire by accident and he said that the SCX24 is bad so i kinda wanna get one but i'm not sure?
Just got mine. My first thought was about how I can put some washers on the wheels to make them heavier. It's a little bit to easy to flip over and it seems to have plenty of torque because the gear ratio is astronomically low.. it must go less than a half a mile and hour.

Yes it is to prevent flooding of the engine when Intaking air. The exhaust pressure is enough to keep the water out.
