Given that, how does it change your final verdict?

Im looking for the best performer? Is the tetra better than axial or axial bettr?
@@ghostanimz8552 axial
I have one of each scx24 versions. They are all actually very different. The c10 has smaller diameter tires, but tends to have more grip on smoother inclines. The con is it has a lot of tire rub out of the box. The Jeep is probably the most well rounded and predictable out of the box, sharing the same chassis (suspension links) setup as the c10, but with the larger tires. The deadbolt can be had for $89.99 right now at most hobby shops, and is by far the most capable out of the box, but it suffers from being slightly front heavy, which can make it unpredictable. This is due to the suspension link layout. The deadbolt has shorter front links, and longer rear links than the Jeep and C10. Over all, all three can be a blast. If you can buy one of each, you should. If not, I recommend the Jeep for best overall. Also, I have never seen a 2 hour charge time. Most I have seen is 45 minutes with the cheap included usb charger, and 56 minutes with my dynamite passport p1 mini doing a full balance charge at .3amp.
Thanks for the great info.
Thanks for the info. I like the jeep look myself.
Damn dude I feel like Amainhobbies.com should be writing you a check.
I agree I time my play time and charge time and play time was an hour and 15 minutes and it took 40 minutes to charge. Not bad at all.

EXACTLY!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yo what’s up Brett me and my dad love to watch your videos so keep up the good work 👍👍
My entire family watches crawling videos together!
@@swololikesolo1625 What a family! You guys are awesome.

@@AMain_Hobbies hahaha, thanks!!!
Great job
it was a close choice of scx24 and tetra for my first micro crawler. the failure of modulation and aftermarket support made the scx decision an easy one. just wish axial come up with an oil shock to install as a hop up.
Wish manufacturers would realise bells and whistles don't appeal to enthusiasts buying these and drop LEDs for performance upgrades....
The oil filled carismas shocks work great on the scx24!
I have a mini z. For me scale looks matter the most and the details the bodies have are on another level.
Right now there are some upgrades and mods for the mini z like new electronics, a brushless motor, and other weight stuff. The good thing about these mods is that they allow the use of lipo batteries cuz of the change of the esc. I haven't been able to run mine yet cuz I'm waiting for new shipment of parts :) .
I'm new to crawling, and loved that the SCX24 comes with everything you need right out of the box, including transmitter batteries and at least some charge on the main battery. I drove it around for a good while right out of the box. I have had issues with tire rub when doing wheel upgrades or longer axles, but a cheap fix is to stretch the shock springs to about double, which also makes it not so bouncy.
I also love being able to customize things, so that makes the SCX24 a clear winner in my book.
Scx24 has a feature on the radio transmitter to flash and turn off the lights
You say the scx 24 only have a 30 mins drive time. I have to disagree with that, I have 4 scx 24s my family will go out for an hour and a half a bash the crap out of them. And only take an hour to charge. I don’t know where you got your information but I believe it’s wrong.
So nice, I bought it twice...added 9.5g brass weights on each corner of the SCX24 Jeep and Deadbolt and wow what a difference it makes on our outdoor course designed for 1/10th scales.
Yikes that Tetra has an on/off switch for a throttle.
how in the F does he rank that Tetra as the most fun? drives like garbage with that throttle, and looks like garbage.
@@c.w.winger221 I have it and he must've been on crack or something it smooth af but ugly
@@MattandGabeBuild they get paid for sponsored links, basically he gets paid for every person who clicks on the link, the more people he convinces to buy from the link the more money he makes, I am assuming the worst companies pay him the most
This is the definition of an informative comparison video.period.
EXCELLENT!
My scx24 takes inly 30-45 min to fully charge.. not 2hours! I hope they had oil shock ! Only complaint! I reversed the front bumper and gain 1/2 inch clearance
I get over an hour run time with my scx24
Nice
There is a lot of stuff for the Kyosho mini z
That is mostly for the normal mini z cars.
for me is Kyosho brand 👍
That was a great video. I'm into rc drifting myself but scale crawling has peaked my interest lately so that was a fun one to watch.
This exists!? Of course it exists! This is awesome!
Sorry, but doing a 44 degree slope with stickers is not an intelligent or realistic guage of RC crawler capability. Thumbs down for ... Stupidity? I can't tell.
I have brass, links, electronics & a new servo on my Mini z 4runner, plenty of upgrades man!
Nice! Those Mini Z's are just beautiful
I know nothing about this, but the yellow jeep looks just like the yellow banana from Matt's Offroad Recovery!!
I just came from one of his videos LOL you are totally right
Similar but his is a cherokee and this is a wrangler unlimited. They should definitely do a licensing deal with him!
If they made a yellow xj Version I’d be so happy
Slow down on the decal climb. You wouldn’t break traction so easy.
LOL needs to air down too
That’s what I was saying
As an scx24 owner I get almost 2 hours of run time crawling completely stock
That enduro looks exactly like my rgt 1/24 crawler just different body
That’s exactly what it is 👍
Love my yellow scx 24 ! Super durable, climbs like crazy. I trimmed up the body for full articulation and it 's been fun.
I just got a panda hobby tetra x2 bronco
Same! Love it so far
Someday in the future I might get all 4 of these vehicles so me and my friends can go on off-road adventures
I don't get why the smaller vehicles don't have some form of proper damper. I know they probably don't have room for proper oil-filled shocks, but they could at least use an oiled friction damper like many LMP12 cars use.
What ever happened to the Losi 1/24 scale micro crawler? It’s like they started all this 1/24 scale crawlers, trail truck, then stopped.....
Good thing I got a couple a few years back.
Hey nice video. Enjoyed it, good comparisons.
Those little trucks were so capable. Definitely missed.
-Brett
Okay, explain to me in what universe AA batteries are a con? they are available everywhere, cheap, eneloops can be recharged over 1000 times, and high amp models rechargeable AA's can still be recharged more than these other trucks batteries, AND these batteries can be used for things other than just your toy truck. Their are some performance issues with nicd vs lithium, but you don't talk about lack of power from the miniz, and you can get lithium AA's and still be cheaper and more useful than specialized batteries.
no spare parts for a mini-z 4x4?? There's plenty already, and im sure after market parts will be produced in the future too. And the mini-z universal light kit should fit the 4x4 truck.

Great crawler review. Went with the SCX24 myself. Great little crawler except for the charger that comes with it. Highly recommend picking a good charger if going with the Axial.
방구석알씨카군요 ,ㄴ어디제품인가,
1:51 The stock Tetra X1 battery is Li-Ion, not Li-Po.
Just ordered my scx24 deadbolt from y’all this morning looking forward to finally having one of these little guys 👍🏻
How is it?
Rock on Brett I'm stoked to play with these Axials this winter with my son making custom courses look like a blast!! Thanks for sharing the review!
All i heard was the scx24 is the best
My scx24 battery only takes 30 mins to charge from dead to full, granted I do use a fast charger brick
very good video. THX from germany for that. Do you have a tip where i can buy the Enduro 24?
Greetings from USA! We have the SCX24 available at shop, www.amainhobbies.com and we ship to Germany as well (some items excluded).
But please take a look at our shop! Here is the SCX24: www.amainhobbies.com/axial-scx24-2019-jeep-wrangler-jlu-crc-1-24-4wd-rtr-scale-mini-crawler-yellow-axi00002t2/p1056001

The SCX24 is the best! Love my JLU!
i am secretly hoping traxxas would come out with a tiny trx4, they do already have the summit 1:16 tho, hmm
Panda hobby switched to a cheaper esc/reciever and transmitter. I would avoid now.
Mini Z looks the best out the box in my opinion. Always been a fan of them and this 4x4 dont disappoint. But my heart will always go towards the ones who started it all, Losi trail trekker and crawler.
It would be much better if it didn't require AA's..
@@jamieofalltrades536 I prefer AAA more than lipo. Cheaper to buy many of them and take them outdoors to run.
Didn't make any sense lipos are def cheaper in the long run it's like $5 for 2 aa/aaa and like $10 for a 450mah lipo you can recharge
@@trulydef418 AAA rechargeable, not disposable alkalines.
The scx24 is by far the best of all of them with the most parts support for sure great video. 👍
For those of you that don’t know the element enduro24 is literally a Rgt adventurer v2 with a longer wheel base and different body. They are great trail trucks but definitely no where near a scx24s performance I actually have both to. 👍 You can also get after market wheels and tires for all the 1/24th scales just search for Rc4wd 1” tires. 👊🙂
I had a scx24 deadbolt when it first came out and I was amazed by it.
Pancouver venguins same here got mine the day they come out great rigs. Working on a rgt/ecx 6x6 build right now! 👊🙂
Great video. I already was planning on getting the SCX24 but this is the first I learned of the Tetra and with that K1 body style I may have to get one of those too after seeing this video.
I really have fun with the scx 24 with a few goodies in it when im stuck inside. That enduro looks like it could compare.
@Anybody: Is it known if there are companies working on Enduro24 hop-up/aftermarket/option parts? If yes... When will they likely be on the market? From what I can decipher the SCX24 has been out for ~9 months and the Enduro24 for ~6 months. Thanks for any clarity.
Can you do a video on installing the electronics on kit RC drift/racing car
They are all so cute 👍😁
🤘🤫Want buy one too...my kraton6s is so fast...need something to calm down...🤘🤫
Take that algorithm…in your face bro
First time buying hobby rc crawlers. And gotta say the scx24 deadbolt has been tons of fun
Dude, the SCX24 batteries charge in just under an hour from dead. Not sure where you're getting this 2 hour charge nonsense....
I got an hour of runtime out of the SCX24, even driving it like a bat out of hell.
Traxxas need to get on with some mini crawlers ;) I'd love to see a 1/24 TRX4
It would be $300
@@hambone4779 most likely =)
It's arrived!
Does the scx24 have ability to get oil filled shocks?
Mini z looks best & had nice capability
Scx24 is all around best
The other 2 are pretty cool too
I’ll take one of those tetra military style pick ups
saw one in the store the other day. took everything i had not to buy it.
My son rips around his Enduro for a solid hour on 1 battery. I was blown away
How fast do they go? Do they only go crawl slow?
They're pretty slow, geared for torque. Some of the larger 1/10 scale trucks like the TRX4 have a 2-speed transmission, with 2nd gear speed about a jogging pace. At about 7:06 in this video the two speeds are demonstrated on that TRX4: ruclips.net/video/9uEw7d2QXc4/видео.html
-Brett
Great video! Really enjoyed it and it gives me an idea on how mini scale crawlers run!
it only takes my scx24 battery about 30 minutes to charge when plugged into my pc’s usb 3.0 port
My scx 24 deadbolt has never taken 2 hours to charge. id say around 40- an hour at most
You forgot about the scx24 Axial lights also blink
Do a video on some mini dodge Charger RC's. I'm talking classic chargers, like the 69' charger. That's a sexy car right there, the 69' I'd kill for it.
You show on the chart that the Kyosho Toyota 4Runner is 1/28 scale; however, Kyosho advertises it as 1/24 scale... So which is it? And why would Kyosho misrepresent the scale size?
I may be wrong, but I believe the on-road mini-z vehicles are considered 1/28th, while the 4X4 vehicles are 1/24th for their slightly larger proportions.
-Brett
@@AMain_Hobbies Thanks Brett! Also, I am hoping you can do a review on the Carisma MSA-1E Suzuki Jimny... You guys have not shown it for sale yet on your website but I want your honest opinion I know the Carisma Coyote 1/24 scale has some torque issues.
@@AMain_HobbiesAlso, I am an Amain Hobbies client and I bought the Kyosho Mini Z Jimny through you. But I want something that I can have fun with that performs well without caring if it gets dinged up, thus, the Carisma Jimny.
the mini z is 1/24 scale scx24 is around 1/20 scale
Is amain hobbies a good place to order from.
Yeah it is! I always order from them. I'm in California I gety stuff in 3 days top
Scx24 deadbolt stock batteries and charger took 46 min to charg .ran for 1hr 1min 23sec .
Idk dude the mini-z that my girlfriend just bought for her self has been running for 3 days now with out any new batteries!
Dude, you're gf bought a mini-z! How cool.
-Brett
I recommend not any of those recommend getting the 1/18 scale atlas 6x6 it's pretty fire
Wonder if you could use the oil shocks of the tetra x1 on the SCX24?
its possible if you have ability to diy cheers
I actually like the idea of the mini z running on AAAs, I use my rcs sporadically and itd be nice to not have to plan ahead or wait an hour for the battery to charge. Just throw em in and go
100 percent
Great video it helped me decide to buy the Axial SCX24. Got it yesterday and am very happy with it. Thanks again!
That's great. Congrats on the cool truck and have fun.
-Brett
I have a scx24 gladiator it is very much caple on my course and it has a lot of grip
Bruh my scx24 takes 10 minutes to charge
very informative video! helped me make a decision on which one to buy!
Great! Happy the video helped.
-Brett
Where is best crawler of class hbx 2098 crawler??!
I have the SCX24 in the C10 body and two things to note
1 The charge time. Mine only takes 1 hour to charge
2 The motor isn’t the best. After owning mine a week the motor burned out. Simple fix I got a more torquier one and it works real good smother response and slower speed when put into the low setting the high setting is about the speed of the stock low.
3 The usb charger isn’t the best it sometimes works. I got a charger that has a dead plugs and it works better.
Awesome! I can finally afford to do some off-roading with these since I can’t actually afford an off-road vehicle 😆
I must say I get alot more then 30 minutes out of a full charge in my scx 24
666th like...lol
🤘🏼😎
Please can you recommend wheels and tires for my ftx outback mini 2.0

I would have loved to see a 1/18 Gelande go up against this group. All metal chassis and axles for $20 more than a mini z. My daughter calls ours Lil Tipper because she’s a horrible driver
You got some cool rc cars there 👍👍👍👍👍
Let me charge it. I'll get it done in 15
Cool litle trucks bro 👍
I love the car just like the Edouro24
Best bang for your buck, SCX24 hands down. Its large wheels already makes it a winner. With added fishing weights, it's cheap to make it very capable.
The Kyosho may be the most expensive of all but it's got the most detailed and scaled body and its electronics has the highest quality of the lot. Plus, there are a LOT of upgrade parts for the Kyosho. The motor is easy to remove and it comes with many gears. It's like it's asking you to mod it. Of course, you'll need deep pockets.
The RGT, I mean the Enduro :p, is the cheapest but it's only 1S.
The Tetra's lights, extra battery and oils shocks are really attractive but it just doesn't perform as good as it should.
Tetra should not have been in the same category as the others
Thank you for the Great info.stay safe my friend.
Do you know if Traxxas is going to come out with a 1/24 scale?
We're unaware of that.
-Brett
AMain Hobbies I guess I’ll be getting the scx24 then 👍
I have the SCX24, and I LOVE it!!!
Can you change the body on the scx24?
the only reason the scx24 didn't make it up the 43 degree angle is because it didn't have grip because it was a smooth surface
You guys should review the Orlandoo hunter OH32P02
On the c10 scx24 the normal headlights are ready for your own lights or to just move them from the bumper to the normal light spots
I think that the scx24 is great , but if anyone is getting it beware of the battery charger not working.
Yal should have included the Carisma f150 I found it to be better box stock than the axial which surprised me other than the battery size.
Very cool little trucks. Really love this class of RC's👍👍
too bad, I already have a crawler (trx4) but It's always good to enlarge the family 😁👍🏻
You could put one of these trucks in the back of your TRX4!
-Brett
And that's about the most use you'll get out of them lol.
all my scx24 batteries take about 45-60 min to charge with matching run time
