Dear RC Review, could you please recommend a replacement battery for this model? Maybe with a higher capacity than the 350? Thanks a lot! Great reviews you do! Like the style...:)
I bought the Teal Chevy truck scx24 today. Cute little rig. . Right out of the box I noticed there isn’t enough weight to make the tires stick. The Chevy truck I didn’t find that top heavy probably because it’s not a full body like the Jeep.also it’s needs a pinch more wheel speed. I like to take one of my r/c vehicles with me when I go on my neighborhood walks. It’s more fun that way. Keep up the great reviews and upgrade tips
For my son's axial scx 24, the battery charger broke the first day. We bought a new battery charger. After a week the engine stops responding. We paid 140 euros here in Italy. I think the mechanics is good but everything else is of poor quality.
Hi there! I'm new to the hobby and really enjoy all the contents you've made so far! I've just bought a FMS FJ and got myself some 20M diff fluid, as i would like to reduce some of that bounce. Would like to ask approximately how many grams did you use for the SCX? by the looks of it, it should be around 2-3 grams at most? Anyways, keep up the good work! :)
He got a modded SCX10 II for xmas and is improving every week. We let him drive the brushless 6x6 but only in low gear. Maybe not for long. His dad said, "he will know when he is ready."
Expecting mine yesterday. Lol. But seriously checking the tracking number hourly. I have close to the 1:1. Nothing extreme 2" lift 37s but black. This is a tremendous deal. I highly recommend this RTR to any RC enthusiast. First timer or seasoned.

Going to try some of those upgrades on mine ( have the 1/10 scale red and now the 1/24 scale yellow looks great together) Have a great 2020 will be watching
I have the wrangler, how can i shorten the wheelbase? It came with extra axle links and driveshaft tubes, minimal instructions. The "spare" axle links are the same lengths as what was installed at factory.
I run smaller tires (RC4WD Baja claw on china Beadlock rims ) the servo works way more easy and crawling rocks is way more smooth. But the Wrangler is still very offroad worthy.Next comes Lightbar for night discoverys ha ha!
Hey I've got a question about engine selection. Im dropping a 370 into a freakishly modded SCX24. Using a 3d printed mount. Right now it is a double engine, 6x6, 4 wheel steer. It's a heavy beast! Gonna be a tow-truck emergency, maybe give it a post-apocalyptic style :) I don't know which 370 to use. How many turns? And should I use a different pinion? If so, how do you calculate pinion and spur size to get an idea of the vehicle speed you'll get? With this one, I'm trying to stay with a similar speed of a stock scx24. Wish there was a small 2 speed, because I'd like to be able to trail AND crawl. Lol This will be driven long and hard at Axial Fest this year, and so I'm switching to a strong, reliable engine, and trying to replace weak parts. Thank you for your videos, info, and great tutorials!

Tires are those recommended Rok Lox. New tires comes with new foams but without rims so I need to rip off those stock tyres somehow. I hope it is not hard. Do I need to glue the new tires even though these micro crawlers are very light and slow? And could I add some DIY weights between the rims and the foams maybe? Tires were hard to find from Europe based shops and there were no wheel weights nor brass knuckles etc available in the same shop. This car is the first rc crawler in our house and I'm really worried that I'm going to order one for my self too. Not the Axial 1:24 but the Trx4 Bronco… It looks so amazing in the pictures and in your videos. All the other bodies are more or less ugly compared to the Bronco. Cheers from Finland!

I also moved the shocks around to lift it more for added clearance but I don't like how tippy it is now. Hopefully the diff covers will help. Spring hardness is ok but they need to be damped or slowed down. Compression, the car rolls over quickly. Rebound, the thing bounces like a pogo stick. The mod we do is cool without spending $40 for shocks. It's hard to get sealed shocks this small anyway that are reliable.

Great video. Free mod for me: My stock tires rubbed the rear of the FRONT wheel well, when flexed and with the front wheels turned. This would bind up the steering and throw off my line. I trimmed the rear of the front wheel well opening to get more flex with no steering interference.

I think your upgrades are fine but a set of RC4WD Steelies for $20, RC4WD Goodyear MTs for $10, MOD19 servo mount, ESC lowering tray, and ERMAX servo are my choices. SCX24 has a tiny motor. Limit the weight to strategic places.
I found the RC4WD Rok Lok tires to be much too small on the SCX24. You lose a lot of ground clearance using the smaller tires which limits it's crawling ability.

on mine the fenders are constantly rubbing and getting in the way of turning the front wheels while flexing... I'm wondering if I should cut the fenders..
Snap!! RIGHT ON UP!! NICE CRAWL!! NC MOUNTAINS BACKYARD RC AND MORE 🖒
im only a few months in to my rc adventures and all of your videos have been so helpful and entertaining
Thank you for your videos. I enjoy watching them. Keep them coming.
Did you swap out the wheels with the tires? Did you unglue the old tires? Can you use the HR wheel weights with other wheels?
I love Avery!!! Always a trick under the sleeve!!!
Excellent review, I just got mine . Good enough for Avery, good enough for me !!
The 20 mil shock fluid is way to hard and it binds? How did you end up using it?
Good video. Gotta say by the time you buy everything you'd be better off getting a used ten scale.
adding weight can be good, but it puts more stress on the motor and can use up more battery time

Oh boy now we have another rig to mod we just got my son one of these for Xmas. Great video as always 👍🏼
Right on. The rig and the mods are more affordable. If we can teach the kids the joy of upgrading, they might get hooked.
Way to go go buddy! The shock mod is the first thing I’d do out of the box for a nearly free 100% improvement. I approve! 🤙🏼🏁💯
thank you. Becomes a hobby grade smooth car instantly.
Added the mil stone brass wheel spacers and a few tungsten plates low on the chassis. Suspension responds much better with little extra weight, upgraded to the hot racing shocks.
The rok lox tires are a big improvement as well. Also a metal gear servo 28oz really helped.
Great videos!! Very informative!!
Right on, thank you for the advice. Are the Hot Racing Shocks better than stock? Did you put diff fluid inside and/or is that included?
@@RCReviewChannel hot racing shocks are better than stock out of the box. Did add the green slim, looked like there was some oil in them already.
Awesome 👍
I like how you say "No chance" And Avery said "Yes change" And proved himself
For tire upgrade , do they fit on stock rims.
That little guy has got a great attitude! Great to see. Keep him rollin'.
new to this hobby watching reviews was helpful. keep up the great content
