Last thing I’d add is adding weight above the servo just to get started. Everyone has something laying around they can use. For example even 1 nickel=5grams! Great video by the way.
That is a great way to add some weight to the front the cheap way ;) I will upgrading few items, then I will check the weight distribution and see what more is needed.
@@BigSungHobbies Did my first tuning and tested both positions before and after. Also saw a yt vid about that but they had other results. I like the new position after adding heavier wheels and a wider stance.
Love free! Speaking my language. HAHA! I noticed there may be a lot of chassis flex, across uneven terrain? Is this common across the SCX24 line? Thank you for sharing!
They are so light and being built with metal chassis, chassis flex isn't a big issue for SCX24. The shocks are notoriously bad, and that's what you are probably noticing. But it does help with preload and dampening mod.
Also you can put a retractable card holder on the front body mount just remove the velcro and stick it on the card holder. And one in the back on the back body mount. Pretty cool really. Wish i could share pictures to show you
Wenches and they work great I have three different ones so each is alittle different on where to place them. Thinking on where to add the one for the deadbolt. Have 2 on the gladiator, one on the jeep and figure out where for the deadbolt

Not free ,still cost you 5cents or more 🤣🤣 works though
Also for free, move the upper mounting point of the shocks to the next inner direction screw on the frame.
Thanks for the info.

Another freebie is to flip your battery tray and turn it 180° ( cut battery stoppers first) it drops the whole battery tray 5-7 mm
@Jay Ford Thanks for the pointer to another freebie mod.
Can't wait to try this mod.

good stuff. this one calls for scale. 👍✌
It sure is, and more than likely that's the direction that I will take this rig.
Agradecido por el video y sobre todo la alternativa de hacer algunas modificaciones sin necesidad de gastarse dinero.
Muchas gracias!
I got aluminum double barrel shocks with a little bit of 30k diff fluid ,less bouncy works great
Good to know. Thanks 🙏

Thank you very much!
Always Useful Thanks 🤟
Awesome to hear
Are you going to Linda vista today?
Ill be there later
I might, but it all depends if a meeting pops up or not.
Scale Trail Rig, for sure.
That's where I am leaning towards. I have other SCX24 for the crawling ;)
With the shocks instead of turning g that little cap around just lower it to where you want. It'll stay where you put it
Hmm, it's not threaded. Not sure how it will stay there.
@@BigSungHobbies yeah its not threaded but I turned them all over one one truck then just moved them down on another. They both stay where put
Interesting, I will have to check it out.

Where are you guys getting the recovery bungies i see on the c10s?

Just use a retractable card holder. Glue it under the servo. They work great
