Man this thing looks SO awesome Brent .. Great upgrades and I have to admit, I love your approach as I have mentioned before. [Brent: Ok so steering servo was binding here a little so I cut that off and I trimmed that off and Now? It works great!!] You just DIVE right in LOVE IT These things are meant to have fun with... and you make sure they're doing exactly what they are suppose to no-matter what has to go or be trimmed and still looking good as they do it. Thumbs up here brother As they say the Proof Is In The Pudding. It did awesome on the trail bud. And as YOU said.. This thing is "Dang Gum Mountain-goat" LMAO

I'm behind on the entire SCX24 movement! 😵 At first I wasn't able to justify over $100 for something as small as my then Kitten... MANY Videos later (like yours), and my Inheritance, I said WTF. 😊 I thank you for that. My Wife DOESN'T!! 😳😝😅
Fact is, if you live in a place that gets to a Hundred and OMFG for 5 months out of the year, this is a smart choice!!

Thank you Carmine your long comments are always welcome here i started off with the deadbolt and fell in love with it and have just gotten evey new release since but this gladiator is a must have it really is the best one so far very stable and great electronics minus the servo lol
@Carmine ... Stop it!! I have still managed to fight the urge to buy one of these. I got SOOO much on my plate right now and you're right. Videos like this is not helping my typically strong will-power ..lmao Thing is? My wife rarely fights me on it. Awesome Mountain goat, Here in Canada i have found my parts for 10 scale compared to 24 scale cost the same so I havent touched another scx24 since.
Yeah they can get expensive but I have so much fun messing with them

Looks real nice! that long WB looks like it works very well too! Hey I finally went for a crawl with the big crawlers I did not go with all last year... I did not video it but me and my brother went up the mountain in the dark with the trucks with LED lights it was the best run I ever did it was so much fun ice covered trails water mud a awesome time! I never went at night but all I can say it's so cool! I have some picks of the trucks when we got back posted on FB and my community section here.
Awesome glad you got out with the crawlers I bet it was crazy at night in the mountains that really long crawl video you did with your brother a couple years ago was awesome
@1:22 so true. I really wanted to save for a larger scale. I was dreaming for the TRX4 Defender for quite a while now, but it's just far too expensive for me. I was worried about the smaller scale crawlers and figured, if bought with a few upgrades as a larger scale, that it would be just about as expensive. I just pieced everything together with this same Gladiator model and with a better servo and all kinds of brass weights, chassis links, tie link and wheel spacers with a few other things, and it turned out far less expensive than just the TRX4. I decided to get it. Plus, the building and assembly I get to do is part of the whole experience and the fun of it--at least it is for me. I'm pretty excited! :D Excellent video!! Nice Work 👍

Great video! I installed the same bumper and the first thing I noticed was that you had flipped the bumper mount. Love it! I'll be doing the same mod. I would love to see a review on Gladiator-specific AL suspension linkage upgrades.

That bumper looks really nice! I also need to do that servo swap on mine as the stock one is getting a little tired. It looks really good out there and handles your course very well despite its size!!

Man the thing is a goat. Nice upgrades to looking Sweeeet 👍💯 I don’t really like my Enduro 1/24. I did just upgrade it to a 2s Lipo with the mini Chinese esc

That is crazy Malcolm I can't believe you have ro pay that much tax it must make the rc hobby very expensive
@@AdventureTimeRC It's worse than that, we pay about 25% in deductions on wages then that 20% vat on top. Only thing it's not on is non luxury food, so all nice food is taxed.
@@BasBoyRC oh wow I can't imagine that here all food is tax free only junk food like soda and some sweets are taxed and that is only a 7% sales tax our medical insurance costs are the biggest expense of living you could pay 1500$ to get one tooth fixed
@@AdventureTimeRC They get us one way or another, it's things like junk food but 20% is a lot more. One thing they put it on is baby milk, that annoys a lot of people.
Taxing child care products heavily is something I would be upset about to its expensive raising children mine are all grown now I get to enjoy being a grand parent spoil and send home

Nice Gladiator. Got mine crawling up to 57 degrees. My I ask one thing of you? Please take a sharpie to your servo horn. That white stands out and not in a good way.

Love it! Sorry to bother, when changing the servo, did you have to do anything with the steering settings with the new remote control? Most videos I’ve seen, they’ve used the older remote and adjust it to “0” to make that white piece in the correct setting. I’m not sure how to do that on the new controller. Thanks for any insight in advance.
All you would have to do is turn it on while you install the horn so it's centered worked great for me good luck my friend

Hi! I have a problem with my scx24 gladiator and I'm not sure who to ask so here it goes. Alot of times when I haven't used it for a while and start it up, the wheels start spinning and I have to press the -throttle for a while until it stops. This time it wont stop and ontop of that the servo keeps twitching like crazy. Any ideas?

It's the same as a emax servo flight test used emax as there manufacturer
