I ordered some jconcepts fling Kings 3.0 - 2.2 can't wait 😄 I've not bought anything RC for months 👍👍 Love the channel big guy 💪 watch every morning without fail 😉💥🍒
I have the gray version of the c10 axial24 and modified it with brass parts,Bluetooth system for music, undergrow kit, more lights, and better metal tires and tread.loved your video,I find this scale to be amazing
My motor and esc just shipped! I'm going to fit it in my panda hobby power wagon which I just put mud slingers on ! I can't wait...I like the size of the 1/18 better, it's just large enough to trail!
You can also flip the skid plate/trans/motor within the chassis. That’ll allow you to get the battery up front. You’ll have to mess with the links and drive shaft lengths but itll get a more forward weight bias. Stoked to see more micro crawler content!
My keyboard is surrounded by SCX24 C10 parts..lol. I'm putting in the Lizard Pro with a Micro Comodo. Heavier wheels, brass dif covers, a nickle and a plumbers brass end cap (weight) transformed this little beast but I needed that slow torque Nice video!
That gray c10 looks great. The difference in em is minimal but there are some to consider. The jeep and c10 are on the same chassis but the jeep has better attack and exit angles while the c10 while the c10 has better COG. Stock I think the deadbolt is considered to edge out the competition barely but if modify em they all level out pretty quick. Cheers man!
@@JXZ2 you bet! You can remove the bumpers on em too though so that will sort of nullify that. What I said previously is for bone stock stuff but they all level out pretty quickly with minimal modifications. I’d just go with the one you like the looks of if you like to tinker. Have fun!
i like the look of the running outrunner inside of the truck, although it isnt realistic it makes it feel like the truck has an actual engine thats running
@@ExocagedRC I've done a lot of work to his and know a few little tricks. His has a Holmes hobbies crawlmaster motor 3 gear scx10 transmission and 1.9s.
Also, a great tip for these little guys is extend wires, run them through the hinge point on the back and then you can adhere the receiver and ESC on the inside of the body for space savings. The c10 doesn’t leave much room if you have a little skinny out runner in there.
I have the same truck . The weights in the wheels make a big difference. I have tried a lot of tires and I found the Patagonia tires to be one of the best for this truck , on rocks . Also the over drive Differential works great and is inexpensive. And helps turning radius. When you find different pinion gears let me know please. Good video . I subscribed
The reason I’m excited for this upgrade is it’s got enough power to move a rig with added weight. Especially bodies axles. Not sure how much I’d really want to stress the running gear with weighted wheels with that much power but I know nothing
I might need that the power is insane on those brushless motors and I’m tired of having the brushed 66t and 88t motors burning on me after one week of use
So rad! I'm getting ready to pop a komodo and a lizard into mine. Did you ever find a good bigger pinion for it as I'm interested in chasing a little more speed out of it also?
How well do you think this motor will handle running in water and mud with those holes in it? I've waterproofed all of my current electronics and axles and I enjoy creek crawling. Thanks
Awesome man! I just watched you mofo rc bouncer build vid. That truck would perform soooooo well with rear steer. You can get an scx24 front axle for like $25.00. rear steer that thing!
Is the transition of this combo from slow speed to medium speed linear now with the latest update? Ive seen on other videos it goes from slow to medium with no linearity. Has it been fixed?
@@thegreatrc9302 it's a lot better than it was. I didn't like the system at all when I got it. Now it's pretty linear, but still not perfect. The driving experience is a lot better now though
@@Rowdy216 thanks! Not perfect yet in what what way? been debating If I should jump in on this system, I mean its a $160 system including a new receiver. Thats already a 1/10 Hobbywing Fusion combo lol, I have a barrage motor with the stock ESC on mine now and it works fine, not the smoothest but it can crawl the rocks pretty good too
@@thegreatrc9302 being honest, I'd just get the esc and run it with the barrage motor. The super slow start up looks amazing in RUclips videos and social media posts, but in reality the Furitek with barrage motor is all that you'd ever want or need.
@@ExocagedRC yeah I finally did the same. Really impressed with the setup. My steering will not work when plugged into the furitek esc though. I have it plugged into the factory receiver and it will work.

There is a jumper on the brake pins that you can remove so you don't have to push forward on transmitter to brake, but these axles have worm gears which brake it anyway.

THANKYOU for POSTING SIR. TOTALLY made my mind up. I'm GETTING MYSELF ONE. I've been holding back but no more. So MANY UPGRADES out now
Careful, it's gonna have a higher cg and be a lot heavier. But the stock motors have been out of stock for literally years on horizon's website.
Watching you and the way you speak takes me back to when I was a kid watching Hot Rod TV/Horsepower TV - Thanks for your content :)

I got 3 of them. The deadbolt, the grey c10 and the betty. I been up grading the deadbolt the most. There fun little buggers.
If u get the RC4WD C10 inner fenders you can put the receiver on one side and the esc on the other

Thank you for this test, unboxing, whatever. Cause I just purchased one and didn't know what to expect. However I now do.....
Something ironic about chasing around a lizard with a “lizard powered” truck. KOMODO COMING THROUGH! Lol
LOL

I looked at that but the front upper mount holes were a little bit higher than the rest
Hell yeah I have that truck and the betty I'll be using them links! Mine are both bone stock.
Oh' what a great fun setting for a micro crawler with monsters and all. fun watch thanks for sharing friend.
oh my god brushless made that thing soooooo goood

I can't get into them... now my son has a 1/12 ecx barrage that is absolutely killer! I wish you would get one and have a go with one!
I'm going to give this one a try
@@ExocagedRC I've done a lot of work to his and know a few little tricks. His has a Holmes hobbies crawlmaster motor 3 gear scx10 transmission and 1.9s.
This is where one of those tiny little spektrum receives would be ideal
I just bought the charcoal grey one is freaking awesome I'm waiting on the baby bead lockers... Aluminum oyaaa
On my old mini. The two things that made the most difference was the treal overdrive and the rc4wd tires, got the Goodyear mtr’s
I tried the Treal OD in the bouncer and it didn't work out well at all
Only added benift with OD is turning radius, as far as for crawling, it's a detriment not an improvement & that's for any scale 👍🏼
Dang I just recently got one of the C10's too! I'm very excited for this build!
Very nice , love small Scale

Is there a chance I could get a photo of how you solved this problem. I am still trying to get mine sorted out.
I also didn't like the Deadbolt version of the SCX24 and changed it out, but kept the C-10 stock! Another good performer was the B-17 Betty!
I wish I had got a Betty.
dang man I just had so much fun watching this one. good job!!!
Can't wait to pick up two of these systems for mine 👍
The National Geographic shot lizard up close. Cool upgrade 💪👌💯👍
Very impressive setup!👍😎
Awesome dude need to get me one appreciate you sharing
Yeah Racing do a few upgraded parts for the SCX24, including shocks. Would love to see some of those parts on this build.
I've actually ordered some Hot Racing shocks links and some brass from someone else

The stock gear doesnt handle the added weight.
Brushed motors also need the brushes replaced crazy often.
Awesome video... scx24 brushless...
I have a Tegu I was going to put in a 24, but now I am thinking of using it in an Ecto with a Holmes 380 V2 2000kv
I give it a like even though you put the deadbolt down but my deadbolt would out crawl that c10 and your bouncer
thanks, best thing I ever did to my deadbolt was to make it into the bouncer
You could raise the hood pin attachments up to make it line clip on without smashing it down
If you have the flysky noble 4 you can get a tiny 4 channel receiver for it a size of a quarter...
I've yet to get that radio
@@ExocagedRC check it out a lot of features plus has crawler set ups on it and can do 4 to 6 and 8 channels

With that motor mount you could put a 380 Revolver and Crawlmaster Mini in that sucker
True on that, maybe a higher KV version?

Added low weight, moving the battery tray towards the front, and eventually the servo upgrade
Love my C10
Cool brown Anolis😘
got a bunch of em buddy
There’s also metal upgrades on Amazon for this truck
With the same mods the Deadbolt is going to be just as good. You have to get the weight down way lower and some better rubber.
Bigger pinions are available for pre-order ive seen

Where is this? That looks like a perfect little crawler park!
I had to upgrade the drive shafts. If it binds up it'll snap the tiny plastic u-joints out of place. It's a torquey lil bastard

i missed the esc tray modification part??
Yeah. I forgot to put that clip in there. I had to cut it out quite a lot to get clearance.

Does this work with the remote control that came originally with the c10 or did you have to set anything up?
Would it also be necessary to upgrade the prop shafts or whatever the gears in the not-a-differential are called
I can tell without even using it that it’s power curve is like running a hot knife through melted butter smooth…
yeah its got power now
When I upgrade motor and ESC do I need to Upgrade my transmitter or can I use the one that came with the truck?

go into the app settings.. it can be reversed.. also update the app
I got the deadbolt and regret it. Only down side is the front driveshaft is really short
How long has the motor lasted? Super tired of brushed motors blowing
Your laugh reminds me of Paulie Walnuts
Did ya scuff the paint any 😅
Do u need the little module to hook up that brushless motor or can u just install it In
I’m new to all this
Are all these parts waterproof if not how do I waterproof the lizard battery and motor

how much did you pat the SCX24 in canada its almost 200$cad lol
